This scale features our convenient step-on operation. Once initialised the scale can be operated by
simply stepping straight on the platform – no more waiting!
NEW FEATURE!
1. Open the battery compartment on the scale underside.
2. Remove isolating tab from beneath the battery.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Select kg, st or lb weight mode by the switch on the underside of the scale.
5. Position scale on firm flat surface.
PREPARING YOUR SCALE
1. Press the platform centre and remove your foot.
2. ‘0.0’will be displayed and then a small zero will run from left to right.
3. The scale will switch off and is now ready for use.
This initialisation process must be repeated if the scale is moved. At all other times step
straight on the scale.
INITIALISING YOUR SCALE
1. Step on and stand very still while the scale computes your weight.
2. Your weight is displayed.
3. Step off.Your weight will be displayed for approximately 4 seconds.
4. Asmall zerowill run from left to right and the scale will switch off.
OPERATING YOUR SCALE
Err1 Incorrect operation.
Err2 Weight exceeds maximum capacity.
Lo Replace battery.
WARNING INDICATORS
• Always weigh yourself on the same scale placed on the same floor surface.
Do not compare weight readings from one scale to another as some differences will exist due
to manufacturing tolerances.
• Placing your scale on a hard, even floor will ensure the greatest accuracy and repeatability.
• Weigh yourself at the same time each day, before meals and without footwear.
First thing in the morning is a good time.
• Your scale rounds up or down to the nearest increment. If you weigh yourself twice and get
two different readings, your weight lies between the two.
• Clean your scale with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
• Do not allow your scale to become saturated with water as this can damage the electronics.
• Treat your scale with care - it is a precision instrument. Do not drop it or jump on it.
ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE
If you experience any difficulty in the use of your scale:
• Check the battery is correctly fitted.
• Check that you have selected your preference of stones/pounds, kilograms or pounds.
• Check that the scale is on a flat, level floor and not touching against a wall.
• Repeat the ‘Initialisation’ procedure every time the scale is moved.
• If when you use the scale there is no display at all or if ‘Lo’is displayed - try a new battery.
• If ‘Err2’is displayed the scale has been overloaded.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
This product is intended for domestic use only. HoMedics Group Ltd. will repair or replace the
product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within 15 years of the
date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective workmanship or materials.This
guarantee covers working parts that affect the function of the scale. It does not cover cosmetic
deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking
apart the scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be supported
byproof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to HoMedics Group Ltd (or local Salter appointed
agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the scale so that it is not damaged while in
transit.This undertaking is in addition to a consumer's statutory rights and does not affect those rights

Ce pèse-personne pratique s’actionne au moment de la montée. Une fois initialisé, le pèse-personne
s’utilise simplement dès la montée sur la plateforme : plus d’attente !
NOUVEAUTÉ !
1. Ouvrez le logement à pile situé sur le dessous du pèse-personne.
2. Retirez la languette de protection du dessous de la pile.
3. Refermez le logement à pile.
4. Réglez le mode poids sur kg, st ou lb avec l’interrupteur situé sur le dessous du pèse-personne.
5. Placez le pèse-personne sur une surface plane et ferme.
MODE D'UTILISATION
1. Appuyez sur le centre de la plateforme et retirez votre pied.
2. ‘0.0’ apparaît, puis un petit zérodéfile de gauche à droite.
3. Le pèse-personne s’éteint et est alors prêt à l’emploi.
Il est nécessaire de recommencer cette étape d’initialisation en cas de déplacement du
pèse-personne. Dans les autres cas, il suffit alors de monter sur le pèse-personne.
INITIALISATION DE VOTRE PÈSE-PERSONNE
1. Montez sur le pèse-personne et restez immobile pendant qu’il calcule votre poids.
2. Votre poids s’affiche.
3. Descendez du pèse-personne.Votre poids reste affiché pendant environ 4 secondes.
4. Un petit zérodéfile alors de gauche à droite et le pèse-personne s’éteint.
FONCTIONNEMENT DE VOTRE PÈSE-PERSONNE
Err1 Erreur d'utilisation.
Err2 Le poids est superieur á la capacité maximum.
Lo Remplacez la pile.
INDICATEURS D'AVERTISSEMENT
• Nettoyez les parties en plastique du pèse-personne avec un chiffon humide.
• Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs. Ne pas l’immerger.
• Pesez-vous à la même heure tous les jours avant les repas et sans chaussures.
• Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats ne pas utiliser le pése-personne sur des surfaces inégales ou
des tapis épais.
• Ne laissez pas tomber le pése-personne ou ne sautez pas dessus.
• Pesez-vous toujours sur le même pèse-personne et sur la même surface.
• Ne pas comparer votre poids de deux pèse-personne différents – ils varient due aux tolérances
différentes des fabricants.
• Si vous pesez deux fois et que le poids affiché varie votre poids exact est intermédiaire entre les
deux affichés.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Si vous rencontrez des problèmes lors de l'utilisation de votre pèse-personne:
• Vérifiez que la pile a bien été mise en place.
• Vérifiez que vous avez indiqué votre préférence entre stones/livres, kilogrammes ou livres.
• Vérifiez que le pèse-personne est posé sur un sol plat et uniforme et qu’il n’est pas en contact
avec un mur.
• Reprenez l’étape « Initialisation » à chaque fois que le pèse-personne est déplacé.
• Si l’écran reste entièrement vierge ou affiche ‘Lo’lorsque vous utilisez le pèse-personne,
essayez de changer la pile.
• Si ‘Err2’s’affiche, cela signifie que la charge nominale du pèse-personne a été dépassée.
VOTRE PESE-PERSONNE N’AFFICHE PAS UN POIDS CORRECT
Ce produit n'est destiné qu'à l'usage domestique. HoMedics Group Ltd garantit la réparation el le
cas échéant, le remplacement de votre pèse-personne sauf les piles, pendant 15 ans. Cette garantie
s'applique uniquement aux pièces fonctionelles du pèse-personne. Elle n'inclut pas les detériorations
provoquées par une usure prématurée de l'article ou un mauvais emploi. La garantie est nulle si
l'appareil a été démonté, même partiellement. En cas de retour, prendre soin d'emballer soigneusement
le pèse-personne pour éviter tout dommage pendant le transport. Quand vous renvoyez le produit,
vous devez inclure la preuve d'achat et le produit doit être retourné en port payé à votre
concessionarelocal. Cet engagement est complémentaire aux droits de consommateur et n'affect
