Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb Ihres neuen reer Thermometers. Um
alle Vorzüge dieses Gerätes richtig zu nutzen, sollten Sie sich vor dem ersten
Gebrauch mit der Gebrauchsanleitung vertraut machen. Bewahren Sie die
Gebrauchsanleitung für späteres Nachschlagen sorgfältig auf.
Zeichenerklärung
In der Gebrauchsanweisung, auf der Verpackung und auf dem Typschild des

Sicherheitshinweise
•Das Thermometer ist ausschließlich für die Messung der menschlichen
Körpertemperatur bestimmt.
•Das ColourTemp Thermometer ist nur für die in der Gebrauchsanwei-
sung angegebenen Messorte am menschlichen Körper konzipiert.
•Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung das Gerät auf offensichtliche
Beschädigungen. Sollten Sie Schäden feststellen, darf dieses Gerät
nicht verwendet werden.
•Das Thermometer ist für den privaten Gebrauch bestimmt.
•Kinder sollten das Gerät nicht ohne Unterstützung von Erwachsenen
benutzen. Medizinprodukte sind kein Spielzeug.
•Kinder unter 12 Jahren sollten ihre Körpertemperatur nicht unbeauf-
sichtigt messen.
•Dieses Thermometer enthält Kleinteile, die verschluckt werden können
oder für Kinder ein Erstickungsrisiko darstellen. Bewahren Sie das
Thermometer immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
•Das Gerät darf, mit Ausnahme des Deckels am Batteriefach, nicht
geöffnet werden. Am Gerät dürfen keine Änderungen vorgenommen
werden. Sollte ein Gerät fehlerhaft arbeiten, bitten wir Sie, sich an
Ihren Händler zu wenden.
•Bewahren Sie die Batterie außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
Es besteht die Gefahr des Verschluckens.
•Das Thermometer beinhaltet empfindliche elektronische Bauteile.
Schützen Sie es deshalb vor Stößen, Biegungen, hohen Temperaturen
oder direkter Sonnenbestrahlung.
•Die Mindestmessdauer bis zum Signalton ist ausnahmslos einzuhalten.
•Dieses Thermometer ist mit einer flexiblen Mess-Spitze ausgestattet
und bringt dadurch mehr Komfort und Sicherheit bei der Messung,
insbesondere bei Kleinkindern, Schlafenden oder bewußtseinseinge-
schränkten Personen. Die Spitze darf nicht weiter als 90° abgebogen
werden!
•Der Betrieb im Bereich starker elektromagnetischer Felder, wie z.B.
neben einem Mobiltelefon, kann zu Fehlfunktionen führen.
•Bei auffälligen Temperaturergebnissen wenden Sie sich bitte unver-
züglich an Ihren Hausarzt.
•Bitte beachten Sie dabei, dass tragbare und mobile HF-Kommuni-
kationseinrichtungen dieses Gerät beeinflussen können. Genauere
Angaben können Sie unter der angegebenen Kundenservice-Adresse
anfordern oder am Ende der Gebrauchsanweisung nachlesen.
Inbetriebnahme
Zum Einschalten drücken Sie die -Taste. Ein kurzer Signalton ertönt. Zunächst
führt das Thermometer einen Selbsttest durch. Dabei zeigt das Display alle
Segmente in der Anzeige mit grün leuchtenden Display an. Anschließend
wird der letzte Messwert für ca. 2 Sek. angezeigt. Das Thermometer ist Mess-
bereit wenn das Display „Lo“ anzeigt und das „°C- bzw. °F- Zeichen“ blinkt.
Während der Messung wird die aktuelle Temperatur laufend angezeigt und
das „°C“ blinkt während der gesamten Messzeit. Nach ca. 10 Sekunden
ist die Messung abgeschlossen. Die Messung endet bei Erreichung einer
Temperaturstabilität. Ein akustisches Signal ertönt (3 x 3 langsame Pieptöne),
das „°C“ -Zeichen blinkt nicht mehr und der gemessene Temperaturwert wird
angezeigt. Bei Temperaturen unter 37,6°C (99,7 °F) leuchtet das Display grün.
Zur Verlängerung der Batterielebensdauer schalten Sie bitte nach der
Messung das Thermometer durch kurzes Drücken der -Taste aus. Ansonsten
schaltet sich das Thermometer nach ca. 10 Min. automatisch ab und es
ertönt ein Piep-Ton.
Sie können zwischen einer °C und °F Anzeige wählen. Hierfür halten Sie
-Taste für ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt. Bis „Lo“ angezeigt wird. Kurz bevor
das °C beginnt zu blinken, drücken Sie nochmals auf die -Taste, solange
bis Sie die gewünschte Messeinheit erhalten.

Fieberalarm
Wird eine Köpertemperatur über 37,6 °C (99,7 °F) gemessen, ertönt ein
Fieberalarm (3 x 4 schnelle Pieptöne) und ein rot leuchtendes Display.
Sobald Temperaturen außerhalb des Messbereichs gemessen werden,
erscheint im Display ein „Lo“ bei Temperaturen unter 32°C (90 °F) und ein
„Hi“ über 43,9°C (111°F)
Anzeige des letzten Messwertes
Der zuletzt gespeicherte Messwert wird immer beim Einschalten des
Thermometers für ca. 2 Sek. angezeigt.
Messwertstreuung
Abhängig von den Messorten schwanken die gemessenen Temperaturen.
Das ist normal und durch die unterschiedliche Temperaturverteilung im
menschlichen Körper bedingt. So haben Sie beispielsweise bei einer rektal
gemessenen Temperatur von 36,6°C einen oral gemessenen Wert von
36,1°C und axillar gemessen von 35,6°C. Bei mehreren Messungen sollten
Sie ca. 3 Minuten pausieren.
Messorte
Im After (rektal)
Dies ist die sicherste Methode. Sie eignet sich besonders für Säuglinge und
Kleinkinder. Die Thermometerspitze wird vorsichtig 2-3 cm weit in den After
eingeführt. Messzeit: ca. 10 Sekunden
In der Mundhöhle (Oral)
In der Mundhöhle sind kleine Temperaturschwankungen von Messung zu
Messung normal. Sie werden durch die unterschiedliche Temperaturverteilung
in der Mundhöhle verursacht. Führen Sie das Thermometer in eine der beiden
Wärmetaschen unter der Zunge, links und rechts an der Zungenwurzel. Der
Temperatur-Sensor muss einen guten Gewebekontakt haben. Schließen
Sie den Mund vor der Messung für ca. 1 Minute und atmen Sie ruhig durch
die Nase. Dann führen Sie das die Messspitze des Thermometers in die
Wärmetasche und schließen den Mund. So wird das Messergebnis nicht
durch die Atemluft beeinflusst. Messzeit in der Mundhöhle: ca. 30 Sekunden
Unter dem Arm (axillar)
Diese Messart ergibt aus medizinischer Sicht zu ungenaue Werte. Sie ist deshalb
zur Durchführung von genauen Messungen ungeeignet. Der Grund dafür ist,
dass der Kontakt des Temperatur-Sensors mit der Achselhöhle wesentlich
schlechter ist als bei oraler oder rektaler Messung. So erfolgt kein für eine
sichere Messung erforderlicher Temperaturausgleich des Temperatur-Sensors
mit dem anliegenden Gewebe.

Batteriewechsel
Sobald im Display das Symbol

erscheint, ist die Batterie erschöpft und
ein Batteriewechsel nötig. Ersetzen Sie die erschöpfte Batterie durch eine
gleichen Typs. Gehen Sie dazu folgendermaßen vor:
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach mit Hilfe einer Münze. Entnehmen Sie die
verbrauchte Batterie und setzen Sie die neue Batterie (CR 2032) ein. Bitte
achten Sie auf die Einbaulage. Das +Zeichen auf der Batterie muss nach oben
zeigen. Verschrauben Sie anschließend wieder den Batteriefachdeckel auf
dem Gehäuse. Batterien erhalten Sie in Uhren- oder Elektrofachgeschäften.
Verbrauchte Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Sie sind gesetzlich
dazu verpflichtet die Batterien zu entsorgen. Entsorgen Sie diese über Ihren
Elektrofachhändler oder Ihre örtliche Wertstoff-Sammelstelle.

Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien
•Wenn Flüssigkeit aus einer Batteriezelle mit Haut oder Augen in Kontakt
kommt, die betroffene Stelle mit Wasser auswaschen und ärztliche Hilfe
aufsuchen.
•Wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist, Schutzhandschuhe anziehen und
das Batteriefach mit einem trockenen Tuch reinigen.
•Schützen Sie Batterien vor übermäßiger Wärme.
Verschluckungsgefahr!
Kleinkinder könnten Batterien verschlucken und daran ersticken. Daher
Batterien für Kleinkinder unerreichbar aufbewahren!
Messtechnische Kontrolle
Eine Überprüfung der Messgenauigkeit des Fieberthermometers ist im Regelfall
nicht erforderlich. Für Geräte, die in Deutschland in der medizinischen Praxis
Verwendung finden, schreibt die Medizinprodukte-Betreiberverordnung vom
29. Juni 1998 (in der Fassung der Bekanntmachung vom 21.08.2002, zuletzt
geändert durch Artikel 4 des Gesetzes vom 29.07.2009) eine messtechnische
Kontrolle nach 2 Jahren vor. Eine kostenpflichtige messtechnische Kontrolle
führen die Eichämter durch.
Reinigung und Desinfektion
•Desinfizieren Sie das Thermometer und die Messspitze mit Alkohol
(75% Isopropylalkohol). Jede Apotheke führt Alkoholtupfer (Alkohol-
pads) verschiedener Anbieter, mit denen das Gerät komplett ab-
gewischt werden kann.
•Trocken Sie das Thermometer mit einem weichen Tuch.
•NICHT AUSKOCHEN ODER IN DER GESCHIRRSPÜLMASCHINE REINIGEN.
Dies beeinträchtigt die Funktionsfähigkeit des Thermometers und führt
zum Erlöschen der Garantie.
•Das Gerät nicht mit Verdünnungsmittel oder chemischem Lösungs-
mittel waschen.
•Bewahren Sie das Thermometer trocken, staubfrei und vor Verschmut-
zung und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt auf.
Mikrobakterielle Kontamination
Da eine hundertprozentige Desinfektion im häuslichen Einsatz häufig nicht
gegeben ist, wird dringend empfohlen, dass jeder Patient sein eigenes
Fieberthermometer nutzt.
Entsorgungshinweise
Batterien müssen sachgerecht entsorgt werden. Zu diesem Zweck
stehen im batterievertreibenden Handel sowie in kommunalen
Sammelstellen entsprechende Behälter zur Batterie-Entsorgung bereit.
Nach dem Ende der Nutzungsdauer entsorgen Sie das Gerät bitte sachgerecht
über eine kommunale Sammelstelle für elektrische Altgeräte.
Gesetzliche Grundlage für das Inverkehrbringen in der EU:
Der Hersteller wurde nach der Richtlinie 93/42/EEC über Medizinprodukte
zertifiziert. Dieses Gerät entspricht der europäischen Norm EN60601-1-2
für die elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit und erfüllt die Anforderungen
der EN 12470-3.

instruction manual before using the device for the first time in order to be
able to make use of all the advantages it offers. Please keep the instruction

•The thermometer contains sensitive electronic components. Protect it
against impacts, bending, high temperatures or direct sunlight.
•The minimum measurement time until the sound signal must always
be observed.
•This thermometer is equipped with a flexible measurement tip and
provides more comfort and safety during measurement, especially for
small children as well as sleeping persons and persons with limited
consciousness. The tip should not be bent further than 90°!
•Operation in the vicinity of strong electromagnetic fields, e.g. next to
a mobile phone, may lead to malfunctions.
•In the event of unusual temperature readings, immediately contact
your GP.
•Please note that portable and mobile HF communication equipment
can affect this device. You can obtain more detailed information at the
customer service address specified, or at the end of the user manual.
Before first use
To switch the device on, press the -button. You will hear a short signal
tone. Then, the thermometer carries out a self-test. The display indicates all
the segments on screen, lit up in green. The last measured value is (Fig. 1)
then displayed for approximately 2 seconds. The thermometer is ready for
measurement if the display shows ‘Lo’ and the ‘°C’ or ‘°F’ symbol blinks.
The current temperature is displayed continuously during the measurement,
and the ‘°C’ symbol blinks for the entire measuring duration. The measurement
will be completed after about 10 seconds. The measurement ends as soon
as temperature stability is achieved. An acoustic signal is produced (3 x 3
slow beeps), the ‘°C’ symbol stops blinking and the measured temperature
is indicated. At temperatures under 37.6 °C (99.7 °F), the display will be
illuminated green.
To prolong the battery service life, switch the thermometer off after use by
pressing and releasing the -button. Otherwise, the thermometer will switch
off automatically 10 minutes later, producing a beeping sound.
You can switch between displaying the temperature in °C or °F. To do this,
press and hold the -button for 2 seconds until ‘Lo’ is displayed. Shortly
before °C starts blinking, press the -button again, until you get the desired
measurement unit.

Fever warning
If a body temperature of more than 37.6 °C (99.7 °F) is detected, a fever
warning alarm signal is produced (3 x 4 quick beeps), and a display lights
up in red. If temperatures outside the measuring range are detected, the
display indicates ‘Lo’ for temperatures under 32 °C (90 °F) and ‘Hi’ for over
43.9 °C (111 °F).
Last measured value display
The last measured value is always displayed during the start-up of the
thermometer, for about 2 seconds indicated
Measured value dispersion
Temperatures can vary depending on measurement points. This is normal and
is caused by uneven distribution of temperature in the human body. Thus,
for example, you can have a temperature of 36.6 °C if measured rectally,
36.1 °C if measured orally, and 35.6 °C if measured axillarily. With multiple
measurements, take 3-minute breaks between them.
Measurement points
Anus (rectal)
This is the most reliable method. It is particularly suited for infants and small
children. The thermometer tip is carefully inserted 2-3 cm into the anus.
Measuring duration: approx. 10 seconds
In the mouth cavity (oral)
Small temperature fluctuations from measurement to measurement are normal
in the mouth cavity. They are caused by uneven temperature distribution in
the mouth. Insert the thermometer in one of the two heat pockets under the
tongue, to the left and right of its root. The temperature sensor must have
good contact with the tissue. Close the mouth before measuring for about
1 minute, breathing calmly through the nose. Then insert the measuring tip
of the thermometer in the heat pocket and close the mouth. This way, the
measurement result will not be affected by the air you breathe. Measuring
duration in the mouth cavity: approximately 30 seconds
In the armpit (axillar)
From a medical point of view, this measurement method produces results that
are too imprecise. It is thus not suitable for taking accurate measurements.
The reason is that contact between the temperature sensor and the armpit
is much worse than contact in the case of oral or rectal measurements.
This results in there being no temperature balance between the tempera-
ture sensor and the tissue, which is necessary for a reliable measurement.

Changing the batteries
If the display shows an symbol, the battery is empty and requires a
replacement. Replace the depleted battery with one of the same type. Take
the following steps to do this:
Open the battery compartment using a coin. Remove the empty battery
and insert a new battery (CR 2032). Please take care to ensure the correct
installation position. The ‘+’ symbol on the battery must point upwards. Then
screw the battery compartment lid back onto the housing. You can find the
appropriate batteries in watch or electric appliance stores.
Used batteries should not be disposed of together with normal household
waste. You are legally required to properly dispose of batteries. Dispose of these
at your electric goods store or your local recyclable material collection station.

Notes on handling batteries
•If a battery cell leaks out onto your skin or eyes, wash the affected
area with water and seek medical help.
•If a battery has leaked, put safety gloves on and clean the battery
compartment with a dry cloth.
•Protect batteries from excess heat
Risk of swallowing!
Small children can swallow batteries and choke on them. Keep batteries
away from small children!
Metrological control
As a rule, checking the thermometer’s precision is not required. For devices
used in Germany for medical practice, the Medical Products Operator
Ordinance of 29 June 1998 (in the version announced on 21 August 2002,
last amended by Article 4 of the law of 29 July 2009) requires metrological
control after 2 years. Gauging offices provide paid metrological inspections.
Cleaning and disinfection
•Disinfect the thermometer and the measuring tip with alcohol
(75% isopropyl alcohol). All pharmacies sell alcohol cleaning pads
from various manufacturers, with which you can completely wipe
the device.
•Wipe the thermometer dry with a soft cloth.
•DO NOT BOIL OR WASH IN DISHWASHER. This will negatively affect the
functional capacity of the thermometer and will void the warranty.
•Do not clean the device with chemical thinners and solvents.
•Store the thermometer in a dry, dust-free, clean place away from
direct sunlight.
Microbial contamination
Because complete disinfection is often not possible in household use, it is
highly recommended to provide an individual thermometer to each patient.
Disposal instructions
Batteries must be disposed of appropriately. Appropriate bins for
battery disposal are available for this purpose at retail shops that
sell batteries, and at communal collection points.
After the end of its service life, please dispose of the device correctly through
a community collection point for waste electrical products.
Legal basis for marketing the device in the EU:
The manufacturer was certified according to the guidelines of 93/42/EEC
for medical products. This device complies with the EN60601-1-2 European
standard on electromagnetic compatibility and meets the requirements
of EN 12470-3.
Warranty
Please retain your receipt, the instruction manual and product number.
Warranty claims or claims under other promises of guarantee must be
processed by the dealer. The statutory warranty period is 2 years from the
date of purchase. Liability for defects does not include damage caused by
inappropriate handling. The purchase receipt and a description of the defect
are required for warranty claims.

Consignes de sécurité
•Le thermomètre est prévu exclusivement pour la mesure de la
température du corps humain.
•Le thermomètre ColourTemp est uniquement conçu pour les points de
mesure du corps humain indiqués dans la notice d‘utilisation.
•Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que l‘appareil ne présente pas de
défaut apparent. Si vous constatez un défaut, cet appareil ne doit pas
être utilisé.
•Le thermomètre est prévu pour un usage privé.
•Ne laissez pas les enfants utiliser le thermomètre sans l‘assistance
d‘adultes. Les dispositifs médicaux ne sont pas des jouets.
•Les enfants de moins de 12ans ne doivent pas mesurer la température
de leur corps sans surveillance.
•Ce thermomètre contient de petites pièces pouvant être ingérées
ou présentant un risque d‘étouffement pour les enfants. Gardez le
thermomètre toujours hors de portée des enfants.
•À l‘exception du logement des piles, l‘appareil ne doit pas être ouvert.
L‘appareil ne doit pas être modifié. Si un appareil ne fonctionne pas
correctement, veuillez vous adresser à votre commerçant.
•Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants. Il existe un risque
d‘ingestion.
•Le thermomètre contient des pièces électroniques sensibles.
Protégez-le des chocs, des courbures, des températures élevées ou de
la lumière directe du soleil.
•La durée de mesure minimum jusqu‘au signal sonore doit être
respectée sans exception.
•Ce thermomètre est équipé d‘une extrémité de mesure flexible qui
garantit un plus grand confort et une sécurité accrue lors de la prise
de température, notamment des enfants en bas âge, des personnes
endormies ou des personnes handicapées mentales. La pointe ne doit
pas être incurvée à plus de 90!
•L‘utilisation dans une zone de champ électromagnétique puissant,
par ex. à proximité d‘un téléphone portable, peut entraîner des
dysfonctionnements.
•En cas de température extrême, veuillez consulter immédiatement
votre médecin traitant.
•Prenez néanmoins en compte que les équipements de communication
portables et mobiles RF peuvent influencer cet appareil. Vous trouverez
de plus amples informations à l‘adresse du service à la clientèle fournie
ou à la fin de la présente notice d‘utilisation.
Mise en service
Pour mettre en marche l‘appareil, appuyez sur la touche . Un bref signal
sonore retentit. Tout d‘abord, le thermomètre effectue un auto-test. L‘écran
affiche tous les segments , l‘affichage étant éclairé en vert. La dernière (Fig.1)
valeur mesurée est ensuite affichée pendant environ 2sec. Le thermomètre
est prêt pour la mesure lorsque l‘affichage indique «Lo» et que le signe
«°C » ou « °F» clignote.
Lors de la mesure, la température actuelle est affichée en permanence et le
symbole «°C» clignote pendant toute la durée de la mesure. La mesure est
terminée après env. 10secondes. La mesure se termine lorsque la température
est stable. Un signal sonore retentit (3 x 3 signaux sonores lents), le signe
«°C» ne clignote plus et la valeur de température mesurée s‘affiche. Lorsque
la température est inférieure à 37,6°C (99,7°F), l‘affichage s‘allume en vert.
Pour prolonger la durée de vie des piles, éteignez le thermomètre après la
mesure en appuyant brièvement sur la touche . Sinon le thermomètre
s‘éteint automatiquement après env. 10min. et un signal sonore retentit.
Vous pouvez sélectionner un affichage °C ou °F. Pour ce faire, appuyez sur la
touche et maintenez-la enfoncée pendant env. 2secondes. Jusqu‘à ce
que «Lo» s‘affiche. Peu de temps avant que le signe °C ne commence
à clignoter, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche jusqu‘à obtenir l‘unité de
mesure souhaitée.

Alarme de fièvre
Si une température corporelle supérieure à 37,6°C (99,7°F) est mesurée,
une alarme de fièvre retentit (3 x 4 signaux sonores rapides) et l‘affichage
s‘allume en rouge. En cas de températures en dehors de la plage de mesure,
l‘affichage indique un signe «Lo» en cas de températures inférieures à 32°C
(90°F) et un signe «Hi» en cas de températures supérieures à 43,9°C (111°F).
Affichage de la dernière valeur mesurée
En allumant le thermomètre, la dernière valeur mesurée enregistrée est
toujours affichée pendant env. 2sec.
Distribution des valeurs mesurées
Les températures mesurées varient en fonction des points de mesure. Ceci est
normal et dû la répartition inégale de la température dans le corps humain.
Par exemple, si la température d‘une mesure rectale est de 36,6°C, la valeur
d‘une mesure orale est de 36,1°C et la valeur d‘une mesure axillaire est de
35,6°C. Pour effectuer plusieurs mesures, il vous faut marquer une pause
d‘environ 3minutes.
Points de mesure
Dans l‘anus (rectal)
Il s’agit de la méthode la plus sécurisée. Elle convient particulièrement aux
nourrissons et aux enfants en bas âge. L’extrémité du thermomètre est
délicatement insérée dans l‘anus sur une distance de 2 à 3 cm. Durée de
mesure: env. 10secondes
Dans la cavité buccale (oral)
Dans la cavité buccale, de petites variations de température d‘une mesure
à l‘autre sont normales. Elles sont dues à la répartition inégale de la
températuredans la cavité buccale. Insérez le thermomètre dans l‘une des
deux poches thermiques situées sous la langue, à gauche et à droite à la
racine de la langue. Le capteur de température doit avoir un bon contact
tissulaire. Fermez la bouche pendant env. 1 minute avant de mesurer et
respirez doucement par le nez. Insérez ensuite l’extrémité de mesure du
thermomètre dans la poche thermique et fermez la bouche. Le résultat de
la mesure n‘est pas influencé par l‘air respiratoire. Durée de mesure dans
la cavité buccale: env. 30secondes
Sous le bras (axillaire)
D‘un point de vue médical, ce type de mesure entraîne des valeurs impré-
cises. Il n‘est donc pas approprié pour effectuer des mesures précises. En
effet, le contact du capteur de température avec l‘aisselle est nettement
moins bon par rapport à celui d‘une mesure orale ou rectale. Par consé-
quent, la compensation de température du capteur de température avec le
tissu adjacent, qui est nécessaire pour une mesure sûre, n’est pas donnée.

Changement de pile
Dès que le symbole apparaît sur l‘affichage, la pile est épuisée et un
changement de pile est nécessaire. Remplacez la pile épuisée par une pile
dumême type. Procédez comme suit:
Ouvrez le compartiment des piles à l‘aide d‘une pièce d‘argent. Retirez la
pile épuisée et insérez la nouvelle (CR 2032). Veuillez respecter la position
de montage. Le signe + de la pile doit être orienté vers le haut. Revissez
ensuite le couvercle du compartiment des piles sur le boîtier. Vous trouverez
les piles dans les magasins d‘horlogerie ou d‘électronique.
Les piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées avec les ordures ménagères. Vous
avez l‘obligation légale de vous débarrasser des piles. Éliminez-les chez votre
revendeur de produits électroniques ou dans votre centre de recyclage local.

Indications relatives à la manipulation des batteries
•En cas de contact du liquide d‘une pile avec la peau ou les yeux, lavez
la zone touchée avec de l‘eau et consultez votre médecin.
•En cas de fuite d‘une pile, mettez des gants de protection et nettoyez
le compartiment des piles avec un chiffon sec.
•Protégez les piles de la chaleur excessive.
Danger d‘ingestion !
Les enfants en bas âge pourraient avaler les piles et s‘étouffer. Par conséquent,
mettre les piles hors de portée des enfants en bas âge!
Contrôle métrologique
En règle générale, un contrôle de la précision de mesure du thermomètre
n‘est pas nécessaire. L‘Ordonnance allemande sur les dispositifs médicaux
et leurs exploitants du 29juin 1998 (dans la version publiée le 21/08/2002,
modifiée en dernier lieu par l‘article 4 de la loi du 29/07/2009) prescrit
un contrôle métrologique après 2ans pour les appareils utilisés par les
professions médicales en Allemagne. Les offices de vérification effectuent
un contrôle métrologique payant.
Nettoyage et désinfection
•Désinfectez le thermomètre et l’extrémité de mesure avec de l‘alcool
(75% d‘alcool isopropylique). Dans chaque pharmacie, on trouve des
tampons d‘alcool (tampons d‘alcool) de différents fournisseurs qui
permettent d‘essuyer complètement l‘appareil.
•Séchez le thermomètre avec un chiffon doux.
•NE PAS FAIRE BOUILLIR NI NETTOYER AU LAVE-VAISSELLE. Cela nuit au
fonctionnement du thermomètre et annule la garantie.
•Ne pas laver l‘appareil avec un diluant ou un solvant chimique.
•Conservez le thermomètre dans un endroit sec, à l‘abri de la poussiè-
re, des salissures et de la lumière directe du soleil.
Contamination microbactérienne
Étant donné qu‘une désinfection à 100% dans l‘usage domestique n‘est pas
souvent donnée, il est vivement recommandé que chaque patient utilise
son propre thermomètre.
Remarques relatives à la mise au rebut
Les piles doivent être mises au rebut de façon appropriée. À cet effet,
il existe des conteneurs spéciaux pour les piles dans les magasins
spécialisés, et dans les centres de recyclage communaux.
À la fin de sa durée d‘utilisation, veuillez vous débarrasser de l‘appareil
de façon appropriée dans un centre communal de recyclage des appareils
électriques usagés.

Le fabricant a été certifié conformément à la directive 93/42/CEE relative
aux produits médicaux. Cet appareil satisfait à la norme EN60601-1-2
