INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

STANDARDS
The electrical appliance conform to the standards
EN 60.335-1, 60.335-2-30 and 60.335-2-43.
The heating appliances are double insulated - Class II
and splash resistant. The appliances also comply with
European directive 2004/108/EC (CE Marking on all
appliances).
POSITIONING
‱
Appliances must be positioned
according to the stan-
dards in force in that regard.
‱ The appliance driers may be positioned in volume
2 of the bathroom, insofar as no operating controls
(button, switch, etc.) are in reach of persons in the
bath or under the shower.
‱ The bottom of the control must be a minimum of
150 mm above oor level.
‱ The appliance must be positioned a minimum of
50 mm from the wall and not be located under-
neath an electric socket.
WARNING: For the safety of young children it is
advisable to position the appliance in such a way
that the lowest heated part is a minimum of 600 mm
above oor level.
CONNECTION
‱ The appliance is designed for single-phase 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
‱ The appliance must be connected to the electrical
network, by means of the original power cable, via
a wall socket (not with a plug and socket!) located
behind the appliance and a minimum of 250 mm
above oor level.
‱ Neutral: grey wire - Phase: brown wire - Con-
trol wire (pilot wire): black wire (if this control/
clock-function is present). Use of the control wire
makes it possible to decrease the temperature if
connected to an adapted clock. Open end means
comfort temperature, connected to phase means
reduced temperature. The wire may never be
connected to the earth and must be isolated if this
function is not used.
‱ If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced
with an appropriate cable. This replacement may
only be carried out by the manufacturer, its after
sales service or equivalent qualied persons, this is
to prevent any danger.
‱ According to the standards in force a separating
omnipolar switch must be provided. The distance
between the contacts will be a minimum of
3 mm.
‱ If the appliance is installed in a bathroom or
shower room it must be safeguarded with a
differential switch with a maximum of 30 mA.

MISCELLANEOUS
The appliances are not designed for use by persons
(and children) with physical, sensory or mental
disabilities or persons with a lack of experience
or knowledge, unless under the supervision
of, or have received the necessary instructions
regarding the use of the appliance, from a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the glass
plate is damaged.
WARNING: The appliance may only be used for
drying laundry washed in water.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not
cover the appliance. “Do not cover”
means that the appliance must
not be used for drying clothes, for
example, by placing them directly
on the appliance.
FIXING
“For the correct installation of appliances it is essential that the xing of the appliance is carried out in such a
way that it is suitable for intended use AND predictable misuse. A number of elements need to be taken into
consideration including the xing method used to secure the appliance to the wall, the type and condition of
the wall itself, and any additional potential forces or weights, prior to nalising installation.”

Les appareils Ă©lectriques sont conformes aux normes
NF - EN 60.335-1, 60.335.2.30, 60.335.2.43.
Ces appareils bĂ©nĂ©îƒ“cient d’une double isolation sur
les parties électriques - classe II, et sont protégés
contre les projections d’eau. Ils sont Ă©galement
conformes à la directive européenne 2004/108/EC
(marquage CE sur tous les appareils).
EMPLACEMENT
‱
Les appareils doivent ĂȘtre installĂ©s conformĂ©ment Ă 
la norme NF C 15 100 et aux rùgles de l’ art.
‱
Ils peuvent ĂȘtre installĂ©s dans le volume 2 de la salle
de bains en veillant à ce qu’aucun organe de com-
mande (bouton, interrupteur) ne soit accessible par
une personne utilisant la baignoire ou la douche.
‱ La partie infĂ©rieure du boĂźtier doit se situer Ă  une
distance minimale de 150 mm du sol
‱
L’ appareil ne doit pas ĂȘtre installĂ© Ă  moins de 50 mm
d’une paroi ni au-dessous d’une prise de courant.
MISE EN GARDE: Pour Ă©viter tout danger pour les
trĂšs jeunes enfants, il est recommandĂ© d’installer
l’ appareil de façon telle que la partie chauffante la
plus basse soit au moins 600 mm au-dessus du sol.
RACCORDEMENT
‱ L’ alimentation se fait par courant monophasĂ©
230 V~ - 50Hz.
‱
Le raccordement doit se faire sur un bornier de sortie
de cùble conformément aux normes électriques en
vigueur (NF C 15 100).
‱ Un moyen de dĂ©connexion doit ĂȘtre prĂ©vu dans
les canalisations xes conformĂ©ment aux rĂšgles
d’installation.
‱ Le cĂąble d’alimentation montĂ© d’origine doit ĂȘtre
relié au réseau par une boßte de connexion qui
devra ĂȘtre placĂ©e derriĂšre l’ appareil, sans inter-
position de prise de courant et qui sera situé au
moins Ă  25 cm du sol.
‱ Neutre : l gris – Phase : l marron – Fil pilote :
l noir. Le l pilote permet d’assurer les fonctions
d’abaissement de tempĂ©rature s’il est raccordĂ© Ă 
une centrale de programmation. Il ne doit jamais
ĂȘtre isolĂ© de tout contact s’il n’est pas utilisĂ©.
‱
Si le cĂąble d’alimentation est endommagĂ©, il doit
ĂȘtre remplacĂ© par un cĂąble spĂ©cique. L’ opĂ©ration de
remplacement de ce cĂąble doit ĂȘtre rĂ©alisĂ©e par le fa-
bricant, son service aprĂšs-vente ou des personnes de
qualication similaire an d’éviter un danger.
‱ ConformĂ©ment Ă  la norme NF C 15 100, un dispositif
de coupure omnipolaire est obligatoire. La distance de
sĂ©paration des contacts doit ĂȘtre d’au moins 3 mm.
‱ Dans le cas de pose dans une salle de bains ou de
douche, le sĂšche-serviette doit ĂȘtre protĂ©gĂ© par un
disjoncteur différentiel de 30 mA maxi.

FIXATION
“Pour une parfaite installation des appareils, il est primordial que la xation de l’appareil soit effectuĂ©e de maniĂšre
appropriĂ©e pour l’utilisation prĂ©vue ET toute mauvaise utilisation prĂ©visible. Un certain nombre d’élĂ©ments
doivent ĂȘtre pris en considĂ©ration avant de rĂ©aliser l’installation comme le type et la qualitĂ© de la xation entre
l’appareil et le mur, le type et l’état du mur lui-mĂȘme ainsi que les charges possibles aprĂšs le montage.”

Die elektrischen GerĂ€te erfĂŒllen die Normen EN
60.335-1, 60.335-2-30 und 60.335-2-43.
Die GerÀte sind doppelt isoliert - Klasse II und spritz-
wasserbestĂ€ndig. Die GerĂ€te erfĂŒllen außerdem die
europÀische Richtlinie 2004/108/EC (alle GerÀte ha-
ben die CE-Kennzeichnung).
MONTAGE
‱ Die GerĂ€te mĂŒssen entsprechend den dies-
bezĂŒglich geltenden Normen montiert werden.
‱ Die GerĂ€te können in Bereich 2 des Badezim-
mers montiert werden, sofern sich damit keine
Bedienelemente (Taste, Schalter,
) innerhalb der
Reichweite von Personen in der Badewanne oder
Dusche benden.
‱ Die Unterseite des Reglers muss sich mindestens
150 mm ĂŒber dem Fußboden benden.
‱ Das GerĂ€t muss mindestens in einem Abstand von
50 mm zur Wand montiert werden und darf sich
nicht direkt unter einer Steckdose benden.
WARNUNG: FĂŒr die Sicherheit von kleinen Kindern
wird empfohlen, das GerÀt so zu montieren, dass sich
das untere beheizte Element mindestens 600 mm
ĂŒber dem Fußboden bendet.
ANSCHLUSS
‱ Das GerĂ€t wurde fĂŒr 230 V ~ 50 Hz einphasig entwickelt.
‱ Das GerĂ€t muss mit seinem Originalstrom-
kabel ĂŒber eine Wanddose an den Netzstrom
angeschlossen werden (nicht ĂŒber Stecker und
Steckdose!), die sich mindestens 250 mm ĂŒber
dem Fußboden hinter dem GerĂ€t benden muss.
‱
Nullleiter: graues Kabel - Phase: braunes Kabel -
Kontrollleiter: schwarzes Kabel (wenn diese Kon-
trolle/Uhr-Funktion vorhanden ist). Die Verwendung
dieses Kontrollleiters ermöglicht eine Temperatur-
absenkung, wenn dieser mit einer passenden Uhr
verbunden ist. Der Leiter darf nie mit der Erdung
verbunden werden und muss isoliert werden, wenn
diese Funktion nicht verwendet wird.
‱
Wenn das Stromkabel beschÀdigt ist, muss es durch
ein geeignetes Kabel ersetzt werden. Um Gefahren
zu vermeiden, darf dieser Austausch nur vom
Hersteller, seinem Kundendienst oder einer gleich-
wertigen, qualizierten Person ausgefĂŒhrt werden.
‱ Entsprechend den geltenden Normen muss ein
omnipolarer Trennschalter vorgesehen werden.
Der Abstand zwischen den Kontakten muss min
destens 3 mm betragen.
‱
Wenn das GerÀt in einem Bade- oder Duschzimmer
montiert wird, muss es mit einem Differenzial-
schalter von höchstens 30 mA gesichert werden.

SONSTIGES
Die GerĂ€te wurden nicht fĂŒr den Gebrauch von
Personen (und Kindern) mit physischen,
sensitiven oder mentalen EinschrÀnkun-
gen oder Personen mit mangelhafter Er-
fahrung oder Kenntnis entwickelt, es sei
denn, sie werden von einer Person, die fĂŒr ihre
Sicherheit einsteht, beaufsichtigt oder zur Ver-
wen-dung des GerĂ€ts belehrt. Es ist dafĂŒr zu sor-
gen, dass Kinder nicht am GerÀt herumspielen.
WARNUNG: Das GerÀt darf nicht verwendet
werden, wenn die Glasplatte beschÀdigt ist.
WARNUNG: Das GerÀt darf nur zum Trocknen von
WĂ€sche, die mit Wasser gewaschen wurde, ver-
wendet werden.
WARNUNG: GerĂ€t nicht abdecken - Überhit-
zungsgefahr ! “Darf nicht ĂŒber-
deckt werden” bedeutet, dass
beispielsweise Kleider zum Trock-
nen nicht direkt auf das GerÀt
gelegt werden dĂŒrfen.
BEFESTIGUNG
“Bei der Montage von GerĂ€ten ist zu beachten, dass die Befestigung von GerĂ€ten so dimensioniert wird, dass
sie fĂŒr die bestimmungsgemĂ€ĂŸe Verwendung und vorhersehbarer Fehlanwendung geeignet ist. Hierbei sind
insbesondere die Verbindung mit dem GerÀt sowie dessen Beschaffenheit, die Geeignetheit des Montage-
zubehöres und die möglichen Belastungen nach erfolgter Montage zu prĂŒfen.“
