Astra 8 & 12 Camera Jib Crane

Astra comes with a back secon, a front secon with your
choice of camera mount, and vercal and horizontal
counterweight bars.

Using Tripod Head
Remove the quick release plate from the tripod
head. Screw into the crane s mount, located on ’
the rear secon. 1/4”-20 & 3/8”-16 threads
available. Do not aempt to use the lt funcon
on the uid head with the crane aached.
With the stand mount aached to the crane,
set it on top of the stand s main sha. Insert ’
the knob into the groove, and ghten to
secure.
The rear secon has an interior connecng bar
extension out. This slides into the front secon
or extension. Tighten the knobs to secure the
secons together.
Aer inserng the connecng bar, insert the
knob into the coupler and ghten knob into
the groove.
Mounng on Support Stand:
Assembly for 8 Astra Jib

Astra Jib Setup
Add the 4 extension secon to the rear
secon and secure properly. Next, aach the
main head secon to the extension secon.
Tighten the knobs to secure the secons
together.
Assembly for 12 Astra Jib
Extend your 8 crane to a 12 crane by adding the 4 extension.

Oponal Tilt Brake
For using lt funcon, loosen the knob to lt
the crane to the desired posion. Tighten back
the knob if you want to put a brake to lt
feature.
Monitor Mounng Bracket
To aach the monitor bracket, screw the knob
into the threaded hole on the crane s tripod ’
mount.
LCD/MONITOR are shown securely mounted
on jib.
For straight angle
Below is the manual lt funconality of the camera.
WARNING: when lng manually, always maintain control of the camera. A front heavy camera may
move forward abruptly without noce you need to be very careful at this point.
