usingtheexistingfactorylocationsormayrequireyoutocreateanewlocation.
Speakerplacementinthedoor,dash,orreardeckisthemostcommon.See
yourlocalPhoenixGoldDealerforadditionallocationandmountingassistance.
DOORS/REARDECK
1.Manyvehiclesalreadyhavefactorylocations(Figure1)tohousethe“DROP
IN”featureoftheRXCoaxialspeakers.Ifnoexistinglocationsareavailable
orarenotused,checkthedesiredlocationforadequatecutoutareaand
anydepthobstructions.Makesuretoallowsucientclearanceforwindow
tracks,structuralbraces,trunklidsprings,etc.
2.Assumingenoughareaanddepthisavailable,usetheprovidedtemplate
andtracethespeakercutoutandmountingholesontothesurfaceofthe
mountinglocation.
3.Ifthemountingsurfaceisnotstructurallystrongenoughtoaccommodate
screws,(i.e.plastic,cardboard)usetheprovidedspeedclipswhichwillact
asanutforthesuppliedscrews.
4.Alwaysprovidewaterprotection,ifnotsuppliedinthevehicle.Wesuggest
usingarainshieldorequivalent.Ifindoubt,pleasecontactyour
PhoenixGoldDealer.
SPEAKERINSTALLATIONWITHOUTGRILL
PhoenixGoldhasprovidedafoammountinggasket.Wheninstallingyour
newcomponentspeakersinafactorylocationmakesuretousethefoam
mountinggasketasshowningure1.Forreversemountedspeakersplacethe
foamgasketinfrontofthespeaker.ThiswillensureanairtightsealforyourR
speakers.
Formorecustomapplications,orcaseswherethefactorygrillwillnotbeused,
ahighexcursionprotectivegrillhasbeenprovided.Wheninstallingyournew
componentspeakerswiththeprovidedRXgrillusegure2.

1.Denombreuxvéhiculesontdéjàdesemplacementsd’usine(Figure1)
pourlafonctionnalité“DROPIN”delalignecoaxialRX.Siaucundes
emplacementsexistantsn’estdisponibleous’ilsnesontpasutilisés,
vérierl’emplacementdésirépourladécoupeadéquateetdesobstaclesen
profondeur.Assurez-vousdelaissersusammentdedégagementpourles
pistesdelafenêtre,lesferruresstructurales,l’amortisseurarrière,etc
2.Ensupposantqu’ilyasusammentdesurfaceetdeprofondeur,utiliser
lemodèlefournietretracerladécoupeduhaut-parleuretlestrousde
montage sur la surface de l’emplacement de montage
3.Silasurfacedemontagen’apasunestructuresusammentsolidepour
accueillirlesvis,(parex.plastique,carton)utiliserlesclipsrapidesfournis
quiservirontd’écrouspourlesvisfournies
4.Toujoursassurerlaprotectionpourl’eau,siellen’estpasfourniedans
levéhicule.Nousvoussuggéronsd’utiliserunehoussedepluieou

montrelagure1.Pourleshaut-parleursmontésàl’envers,placezlejointen
mousseenfaceduhaut-parleur.Ceciassureraunjointétancheàl’airpour
voshaut-parleursRX.
