Important safety information
Only use the product for its intended purpose. Read this important information
carefully before you use the product and its batteries and accessories, and save
it for future reference. Misuse can lead to hazards or serious injuries. Accessories
supplied may vary for dierent products.
Warning
- Keep the supply unit dry (Fig. 1).
- This appliance is waterproof (Fig. 2). It is suitable for use in the bath or
shower and for cleaning under the tap. For safety reasons, the appliance can
therefore only be used without cord.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not modify the supply unit.
- Do not use the supply unit in or near wall sockets that contain an electric air
freshener to prevent irreparable damage to the supply unit.
- Do not use a damaged appliance. Replace damaged parts with new Philips
parts.
- Only use the appliance, heads and accessories for their intended purpose as
shown in the user manual.
- Because of hygiene, only one person should use the appliance.
- The callus removal disk is only intended for use on feet.
- Do not use the appliance on irritated or damaged skin, varicose veins, spots
or moles (with hairs). Consult a doctor rst if you have diabetes mellitus,
haemophilia, reduced immune response or immunodeciency.
- Do not use the appliance if you lack normal skin sensitivity in the areas for
which this appliance is intended without consulting your doctor.
- When you rst start using the appliance, some skin irritation or redness is
normal. When your skin gets used to the appliance, skin irritation decreases.
- If you experience abnormal pain or discomfort during or after use, stop using
the appliance and consult your doctor.
- To prevent damage or injury, keep the operating appliance away from scalp
hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes etc.
- Do not use precision trimming attachments without comb on intimate areas
other than the bikini line, as this could cause injury.
- Do not exfoliate immediately after epilation, as this may intensify possible skin
irritation caused by epilation.
- Do not use bath or shower oils when you epilate wet skin, as this may cause
serious skin irritation.
- If your appliance is equipped with a light for optimal use, do not look directly
into the light.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning it with water.
- Only use cold or lukewarm water to clean the appliance.
- Never use compressed air, scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or
aggressive liquids to clean the appliance.
- Only use original Philips accessories or consumables. Only use detachable
supply unit HQ8505.
- Charge, use and store the product at a temperature between 10°C and 35°C.
- Keep product and batteries away from re and do not expose them to direct
sunlight or high temperatures.
- If the product becomes abnormally hot or smelly, changes color or if charging
takes longer than usual, stop using and charging the product and contact
Philips.
- Do not place products and their batteries in microwave ovens or on induction
cookers.
- Do not open, modify, pierce, damage or dismantle the product or battery to
prevent batteries from heating up or releasing toxic or hazardous substances.
Do not short-circuit, overcharge or reverse charge batteries.
- If batteries are damaged or leaking, avoid contact with the skin or eyes. If this
occurs, immediately rinse well with water and seek medical care.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations
regarding exposure to electromagnetic elds.

- No utilice nunca aire comprimido, estropajos, agentes de limpieza abrasivos ni
líquidos agresivo para limpiar el aparato.
- Utilice únicamente accesorios o consumibles originales de Philips. Utilice solo
la unidad de alimentación desmontable HQ8505.
- Cargue, utilice y guarde el producto a una temperatura entre 10°C y 35°C.
- Mantenga el producto y las baterías lejos del fuego y no los exponga a la luz
directa del sol ni a altas temperaturas.
- Si el producto se calienta en exceso, emite algún olor, cambia de color o

Retrait de la batterie rechargeable intégrée
La batterie rechargeable intégrée doit être retirée exclusivement par un
professionnel qualié lors de la mise au rebut de l’appareil. Avant d’enlever la
batterie, assurez-vous que l’appareil est débranché de la prise secteur et que la
batterie est complètement vide.
Respectez toutes les mesures de sécurité nécessaires lorsque
vous utilisez des outils pour ouvrir l‘appareil ou retirer la batterie
rechargeable.
Lorsque vous manipulez des piles, assurez-vous de bien sécher vos
mains, le produit et les piles.
Pour éviter tout court-circuit accidentel des piles après leur retrait,
ne laissez pas les bornes des piles entrer en contact avec des objets

les emballez pas dans du papier d’aluminium. Collez les bornes des
piles avec du ruban adhésif ou mettez les piles dans un sac en plastique
avant de les jeter.

Fjernelse af indbygget genopladeligt batteri
Det indbyggede genopladelige batteri skal kun fjernes af en kvaliceret fagmand,

taget ud af stikkontakten, og at batteriet er fuldstændigt aadet.

- Verwenden Sie den Präzisions-Schneidekopfaufsatz nie ohne Kammaufsatz
im Intimbereich - mit Ausnahme der Bikinizone, da sonst Hautverletzungen
auftreten können.
- Führen Sie nicht sofort nach der Epilation ein Peeling durch, da dies mögliche
Hautirritationen durch die Haarentfernung verstärken könnte.
