Auto Tracking Server Software
Operation Manual
Introduction
Auto Tracking Server Software is application software that runs on Windows.
By operating this software on a Windows Server PC to which a Panasonic remote camera is connected, tracking of
persons shot by the remote camera can be performed simultaneously by multiple remote cameras.
Main Functions
The main functions of this software are as described below.
1. Tracking assist for persons
The tracking of a person selected from the images shot by the remote camera can be assisted. Stable
tracking operation can be performed by the face recognition function that detects the face of the set person,
and also by human body detection through deep learning.
2. Simultaneous tracking by multiple remote cameras
The tracking operation can be performed by simultaneously controlling up to four remote cameras per one
server. By increasing the number of servers, the number of remote cameras controlled simultaneously can
also be increased.
3. Auto detection of tracking target
The face of a person in the images shot by the remote camera can be detected automatically and tracked.
4. Setting the display position of the tracking target
You can set the position on the screen on which the tracking target is to be displayed.
5. Setting the Zoom magnification during tracking
The zoom magnification of the camera image during tracking can be set.
6. PTZ control of the remote camera
Pan/Tilt control and Zoom position control can be performed for the remote camera.
The limitation of the working range of Pan/Tilt can be set or canceled.
7. Registering/calling the remote camera preset

The Pan/Tilt/Zoom position of the remote camera can be registered or called as a preset.
8. Image adjustment of the remote camera
You can adjust the Focus/Iris/Gain/WB/Shutter/ND Filter for the remote camera.
Caution
• This software detects and tracks a single target, such as the lecturer of a lecture recording, and does not track a
single target among several targets, and is also not meant to be used when there are several moving objects within
the camera angle.
• Since this software uses image processing, the target may be wrongly detected. In order to deal with situations
where the target is wrongly detected, use this software in an environment in which the correction task can be
performed by the operator.
• Depending on the shooting environment (camera angle, distance, and speed), the camera may not be able to track
the target (the tracking target may be lost). In order to deal with situations where the target is lost, use this software
in an environment in which the correction task can be performed by the operator.
