Installation
1 Close the window or French window and determine the assembly
position (see Figure 2).
2 Turn the latch (A) of the additional locking device (see Figure 3) and
remove the caps (C).
3 Position the mounting block (B) on the window frame(F). When
doing so, pay attention that there is 2 mm distance between the
window casement (D) and mounting block (B). The 2 mm spacer
plate (H) supplied can be used as an aid to determine the distance.
4 Mark the 4 drill holes for the retaining screws (E).
5 Then drill the holes using a drill bit with 3 mm Ø and screw the
mounting block (B) rmly to the window frame (F) using the self-tap -
ping screws (E).
6 To ensure that the latch (A) does not scrape over the window case-
ment when locking and unlocking, it may be necessary to use the
spacer plates (H) supplied to adjust the height.
7 Finally, press the 2 caps (C) back on the recesses in the retaining
screws (E).
Operation
1 To lock the window or French window, turn the latch (A) until it
engages.
2 To unlock it, press and hold the knob (G) in and turn the latch (A)
back again.

Additional Window and French Window Lock
WSL 20 double-leaf
Read the assembly manual thoroughly and observe the
information contained during installation. Keep the assembly
manual in a safe place for future reference.
Intended Use
The additional window and French window lock provides additional
security against unauthorised entry to a property. They can be assem-
bled on single and double-leaf, inward opening windows and French
windows.
These highly robust anti-burglary devices can be mounted at one or
more points on windows and French windows as necessary. A condition
for complying with the intended use is that the equipment is installed
correctly and the information in the manual is observed and main-
tained.
Any other use is considered unintended use. Unauthorised modica-
tions or reconstructions not described in the manual are not permitted
and could cause the product to be damaged.

Install the window lock as described in this assembly manual.
Only use the assembly material supplied.
Scope of Delivery
Check the package supplied is complete:
■ Additional window and French window lock
■ 4x xM5 50 mm self-tapping screws
■ 1 mm spacer plate
■ 2 mm spacer plate
■ Assembly manual
General Assembly Information
■ Before beginning any assembly work, ensure that the window or
French window can be opened and closed properly.
■ Whendrilling the holes, pay attention that any moving parts,
seals and glass panes are not damaged.
■ Whendrilling and tightening screws,ensure that the drill
/ screws do not project on the rear side of the window frame.
Adapt the length of the screws to the window frame and use a
drilling stop.
■ To prevent overtightening the retaining screws, tighten them by
hand using an appropriate screwdriver.
■ If a window diameter exceeds 1 m, it is recommended to mount
a second lock (see Figure 2).
