Installation

1 Close the window or French window and determine the assembly

position (see Figure 2).

2 Turn the latch (A) of the additional locking device (see Figure 3) and

remove the caps (C).

3 Position the mounting block (B)on the window frame(F).When

doing so, pay attention that there is 2 mm distance between the

window casement (D) and mounting block (B). The 2 mm spacer

plate (H) supplied can be used as an aid to determine the distance.

4 Mark the 4 drill holes for the retaining screws (E).

5 Then drill the holes using a drill bit with 3 mm Ø and screw the

mounting block (B) rmlyto the window frame(F) using the self-tap-

ping screws (E).

6 To ensure that the latch (A) does not scrape over the window case-

ment when locking and unlocking, it may be necessary to use the

spacer plates (H) supplied to adjust the height.

7 Finally, press the 2 caps (C) back on the recesses in the retaining

screws (E).

Operation

1 To lock the window or French window, turn the latch (A) until it

engages.

2 To unlock it, press and hold the knob (G) in and turn the latch (A)

back again.
