Operation Precautions
Shooting Precautions
1. Focus first using the controls on the scope you are using, then make fine adjustments with
the camera's AF function.
2. If you cannot focus on the subject, lock the AF by pressing the shutter release button
halfway, then set the focus while viewing the LCD monitor.
3. With high-magnification shooting, focal depth is low. Be sure to focus carefully.
4. With high-magnification shooting, you can prevent vibration by using a cable release, self-
timer or remote switch.
5. If you notice external light on the monitor or image (picture), use a shield such as a black
cloth to prevent light entering between the mount and lens of the camera.
6. Set in either "P" (Programmed) or "A" (Aperture-Priority) mode.
7. Camera position may become misaligned during camera operation. Before releasing the
shutter, adjust the camera if necessary.
Shooting position:
Screw the camera block fixing fixing
screw tightly.
Viewing position:
Release the camera block fixing screw
to open the camera block by 90 degrees.
The camera block is prevented from being
