The re-Q is designed to enhance your
integrated car factory head-unit and
transform it into a phenomenal high
ïŹdelity device to get an ultimate
listening experience.

Power connectors
GND : to be connected to the car chassis
+12V : to be connected to the car 12V permanent
REM in : if the head unit is equipped with a
remote cable (Antenna), you can connect it here. It
is not mandatory as the re-Q provides a REM out.
REM out : Automatic turn on and turn oïŹ remote
output cable to be connected to amps, powered
enclosures and sound processors.
Remote Auto Turn ON jumper
Enable or disable the Automatic turn ON and turn
OFF Remote function. Put the strap in ON position
to get the automatic remote function.
EBC remote control port
Bass level remote control port to be connected to
the included EBC remote control case.
EBC remote control case
Turn the control clockwise to raise the subwoofer
output level of your re-Q.
Speaker Inputs
Four screws to be connected to the car factory
speaker cables. You can connect to the front or to
the rear speaker cables.
Respect the polarity to avoid sound quality losses.
The power input can go up to 4x110W RMS to
allow any factory head-unit to be connected, even
the ones with a separate power amp.
Initial settings : Turn the re-Q control (11) to minimum (counterclockwise). Put the Sub EQ control (12) in
the middle. You can feel a click.
On the factory head-unit, play a bass track where the factory bass drop is easy to identify. Set the volume
at the exact volume level the bass starts to drop.
Raise the re-Q control (11) until the Peak LED (13) starts to ïŹash.
Play with the Sub EQ control (12) to adjust the bass level you like.
The bass drop of your factory head-unit is now more than conpensated. You can enjoy your fantastic new
sound system...

Subwoofer Output Level Control
Turn the control clockwise to raise the
subwoofer output level up to 10V RMS.
aFront Output Level Control
Turn the control clockwise to raise the front
full range output level up to 10V RMS.
Power ON LED
When the unit is turned ON, the LED is red.
When the unit is OFF, the LED is OFF.
Subwoofer RCA Outputs
Connect your subwoofer amp(s) or powered
enclosure(s) to these RCA connectors.
These subwoofer outputs use a 18dB/Oct
active x-over ïŹlter set to 120Hz.

transforme les sorties haut-parleurs de votre
source dâorigine en sorties RCA ultra puissantes et
qualitatives. Le re-Q intĂšgre un systĂšme intelligent
de restauration du grave éliminé volontairement
par les constructeurs pour protéger leurs haut-
parleurs de faible qualité. Il intÚgre aussi une
télécommande à distance EBC pour gérer le niveau
du subwoofer. Le re-Q est conçu pour améliorer
votre autoradio dâorigine qui est inamovible,
en le transformant en un lecteur haute-ïŹdĂ©litĂ©
phĂ©nomĂ©nal pour une expĂ©rience dâĂ©coute ultime.

Connecteurs dâalimentation
GND : Ă connecter au chĂąssis de la voiture
+12V : Ă brancher sur le 12V permanent
REM in : si la source est est Ă©quipĂ©e dâun cĂąble
âremoteâ, vous pouvez le connecter ici. Ce nâest pas
obligatoire car le re-Q fournit une sortie âremoteâ.
REM out : sortie âremoteâ pour commander
lâallumage et lâextension des amplis, des caissons
ampliïŹĂ©s ou des processeurs.
Cavalier âOnâ âOFFâ de la fonction âremoteâ
automatique
Mettez le cavalier en position âONâ pour obtenir la
fonction remote automatique.
Port télécommande EBC
Port pour connecter la télécommande EBC incluse.
Boßtier de télécommande EBC
Tournez la télécommande EBC dans le sens des
aiguilles dâune montre pour augmenter le niveau de
sortie du subwoofer.
Entrées haut-parleur
Connecteurs pour les cĂąbles haut-parleurs en
provenance de la source dâorigine. Vous pouvez
vous connecter aux haut-parleurs avant ou arriĂšre.
Respectez la polarité pour éviter les pertes de qualité
sonore. La puissance dâentrĂ©e peut aller jusquâĂ
4x110W RMS pour se connecter Ă nâimporte quelle
source, mĂȘme celles avec un ampli puissant sĂ©parĂ©.
RĂ©glages de dĂ©part : Tourner le potentiomĂštre âre-Qâ (11) au minimum (sens antihoraire). Placez le
potentiomĂštre âSub EQâ (12) au milieu. Vous pouvez sentir un clic qui indique la bonne position.
Sur lâautoradio dâorigine, Ă©coutez une chanson chargĂ©e en grave oĂč la diminution volontaire du grave par le
constructeur est sensible et facile Ă identiïŹer. Gardez le volume au niveau exact auquel les basses commencent
Ă diminuer.
Augmenter le potentiomĂštre âre-Qâ (11) jusquâĂ ce que la âPeakâ LED (13) commence Ă clignoter.
Jouez avec le potentiomĂštre âSub EQâ (12) pour ajuster le niveau de basse comme vous le dĂ©sirez.
La baisse des basses de votre autoradio dâorigine est maintenant plus que compensĂ©e. Vous pouvez proïŹter de
votre fantastique nouveau systĂšme audio...
RĂ©glage du niveau de sortie du subwoofer
Tournez dans le sens des aiguilles dâune montre
pour augmenter le niveau de sortie des RCA du
subwoofer jusquâĂ 10V RMS.

Voyant de mise sous tension
Lorsque le re-Q est en fonction, la LED est rouge.
Sinon la LED est Ă©teinte.
Sorties RCA subwoofer
Connectez votre ampli sub ou votre caisson
ampliïŹĂ© Ă ces connecteurs RCA. Ces sorties
subwoofer sont ïŹltrĂ©es Ă 120Hz 18dB/Oct.

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich fĂŒr den MTX re-Q
Premium-Aktivprozessor mit Hochpegel-
LautsprechereingÀngen und Line-Level-Cinch-
AusgÀngen mit EBC-Fernbedienung und Smart
Digital Bass Restauration entschieden haben.
Der re-Q wurde entwickelt, um Ihr Autoradio
in ein High-Fidelity-GerÀt zu verwandeln. Wir
gratulieren Ihnen zu dieser Entscheidung und
wĂŒnschen Ihnen viel SpaĂ beim Musikhören
mit MTX.
StromanschlĂŒsse
GND: zur Verbindung mit dem Fahrzeugchassis
+12V: zum Anschluss an die Dauer-12V des Autos
REM in: Wenn das Autoradio mit einem
Fernbedienungskabel (Antenne) ausgestattet ist,
können Sie es hier anschlieĂen. Dies ist nicht zwingend
erforderlich, da der re-Q ĂŒber einen REM-Ausgang
verfĂŒgt.
REM out: Automatisches Remote Ausgangskabel
fĂŒr den Anschluss an VerstĂ€rker, Aktivboxen und
Soundprozessoren.
Jumper fĂŒr automatisches Einschalten
Aktivieren oder deaktivieren Sie die automatische Ein-
und Ausschaltfunktion. Stecken Sie den Jumper auf die
Position ON, um die Automatik zu aktivieren.
EBC Fernbedienungsanschluss
Basspegel-Fernbedienungsanschluss fĂŒr den Anschluss
an das mitgelieferte EBC-FernbedienungsgehÀuse.
EBC FernbedienungsgehÀuse
Drehen Sie den Regler im Uhrzeigersinn, um den
Subwoofer-Ausgangspegel Ihres re-Q zu erhöhen.
Lautsprecher-EingÀnge
Vier Schrauben zum Anschluss an die Lautsprecherkabel
des Fahrzeugs. Sie können sie an die vorderen oder
hinteren Lautsprecherkabel anschlieĂen.
Achten Sie auf die PolaritÀt, um KlangqualitÀtsverluste
zu vermeiden. Der Leistungseingang kann bis zu 4x110W
RMS gehen, so dass jedes Werks-Radio angeschlossen
werden kann, auch solche mit einer separaten Endstufe.
1. Grundeinstellungen: Drehen Sie den Re-Q-Regler (11) auf Minimum (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn).
Stellen Sie den Sub-EQ-Regler (12) in die Mitte. Sie können ein Klicken spĂŒren.
2. Spielen Sie auf dem werkseitigen SteuergerÀt einen Bass-Track ab, bei dem der werkseitige Bassabfall
leicht zu erkennen ist. Stellen Sie die LautstÀrke genau auf den Pegel ein, bei dem der Bass abfÀllt.
3. Erhöhen Sie den re-Q-Regler (11), bis die Peak-LED (13) zu blinken beginnt.
4. Spielen Sie mit dem Sub-EQ-Regler (12), um den gewĂŒnschten Basspegel einzustellen.
5. Der Bassabfall Ihres Werks-Radios wird nun mehr als wettgemacht. Sie können Ihr fantastisches neues
Soundsystem genieĂen...
Subwoofer-Ausgangspegelregler
Drehen Sie den Regler im Uhrzeigersinn, um den
Subwoofer-Ausgangspegel auf bis zu 10 V RMS
anzuheben.
Ausgangspegelregler vorne
Drehen Sie den Regler im Uhrzeigersinn, um den
vorderen Full-Range-Ausgangspegel auf bis zu 10 V
RMS anzuheben.
LED fĂŒr Stromversorgung EIN
Wenn das GerÀt eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet die LED
rot. Wenn das GerÀt ausgeschaltet ist, leuchtet die
LED nicht.
Subwoofer RCA-AusgÀnge
SchlieĂen Sie Ihre(n) Subwoofer-VerstĂ€rker oder
Aktivboxen an diese Cinch-AnschlĂŒsse an. Diese
Subwoofer-AusgÀnge verwenden einen aktiven
Filter von 18 dB/Okt. mit einer Frequenz von 120 Hz.
Vordere RCA-AusgÀnge
SchlieĂen Sie Ihre(n) LautsprecherverstĂ€rker an
diese RCA-AnschlĂŒsse an.
