Conseils de sécurité
-Placez lâappareil hors dâatteinte des en-
fants.
- VĂ©riïŹez que la tension dâalimentation indi-
quĂ©e sur la plaque signalĂ©tique de lâappa-
reil correspond bien Ă celle de votre instal-
lation Ă©lectrique.
Toute erreur de branchement ou de mani-
pulation annule la garantie.
- Votre appareil est uniquement Ă usage do-
mestique.
- Ne touchez jamais les piĂšces en mouve-
ment.
- Nâutilisez que des accessoires Moulinex.
- Ne laissez rien pendre au-dessus des ac-
cessoires en fonctionnement.
- DĂ©branchez lâappareil avant toutes manipu-
lations (montage et démontage des acces-
soires), aprĂšs utilisation, avant le nettoyage
et en cas de dysfonctionnement.
- Ne tirez pas sur le cordon dâalimentation pour
dĂ©brancher lâappareil.
- Ne laissez pas pendre le cordon dâalimen-
tation Ă proximitĂ© dâune source de chaleur
et à portée de mains des enfants.
- Ne mettez jamais le corps de lâappareil dans
lâeau, ni sous lâeau courante.
- Si le cĂąble dâalimentation ou la ïŹche sont
endommagés, n'utilisez pas votre appareil.
Afin d'Ă©viter tout danger, faites-les obligatoi-
rement remplacer par un centre service
agréé Moulinex (voir liste dans le livret
«Moulinex Service»).
- Ne dĂ©montez pas lâappareil.
Mise en service
- Avant la premiĂšre utilisation, nettoyez vos
accessoires Ă lâeau savonneuse. Rincez et
séchez soigneusement.
Avec votre batteur, vous pouvez réaliser des
préparations légÚres : mayonnaise, blancs en
neige, sauce, pĂątes Ă cake et Ă crĂȘpes...
- Ne lâutilisez pas pour les pĂątes lourdes :
tarte, brioche, pain...
Les fouets plastique sont particuliĂšrement(D)
conseillés pour les préparations réalisées dans
des rĂ©cipients avec revĂȘtement anti-adhĂ©rent
et pour un fonctionnement plus silencieux.
. Utilisation
- VĂ©riïŹez que la commande est en posi-(B)
tion «0».
- Insérez les fouets (C ou D) sur le corps de
lâappareil .(A)
- Utilisez les acessoires par paire identique.
- Mettez lâappareil en marche en sĂ©lectionnant
une vitesse Ă lâaide de la commande (B).
- La commande sur «0», les accessoires(B)
sont Ă©jectĂ©s par simple pression vers lâavant.
. Conseils pratiques
.la vitesse 1 est utilisée pour débuter une
préparation et pour éviter les projections.
.Pour poursuivre la préparation, utilisez la
vitesse 2.
Nettoyage
- DĂ©branchez lâappareil
- Vous pouvez nettoyer les accessoires au
lave-vaisselle.
- Nettoyez le corps de lâappareil (A) unique-
ment avec une éponge humide et séchez
soigneusement.

(appareil débranché)

APPLIANCES WITH FITTED PLUG
Important : For your convenience this
appliance is supplied complete with a plug
incorporating a 3 amp fuse.
In the event of replacing a fuse in the plug
supplied, a 3 amp fuse approved by ASTA to
BS1362 must be used.
If the socket outlets are not of the 13A BS 1363
type, and therefore do not accept the plug
connected to this appliance, cut oïŹ the plug.
When cut oïŹ, this plug is a shock hazard if
inserted into a socket outlet and must therefore
be disposed of safely.
If the fuse cover is detachable, never use the
plug with the cover omitted. Replacement
covers can be obtained from your service
agent.
Fit the appropriate plug according to the ins-
tructions in paragraph "Fitting a plug". With
alternative plugs a 5 amp fuse must be ïŹtted
either in the plug or adaptor or at the main fuse
box.
APPLIANCES WITHOUT FITTED PLUG
FITTING A PLUG - IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
BLUE : NEUTRAL
BROWN : LIVE
But the colours may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter âNâ or coloured black. The wire
which is coloured BROWN must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter
âLâ or coloured red.
This appliance is manufactured to conform to
the Low Voltage Electrical Equipment (Safety)
Regulations 1989 and is designed to comply
with BS 3456. It complies with the requirements
of the EEC Directive (89/336/EEC).
Warning : Any error in connecting the
appliance invalidates the guarantee
- Your appliance is for domestic use only.
- Never touch appliance parts when in use.
- Only Moulinex accessories should be used.
- Never let anything hang loose above the
attachments when in use.
- Always disconnect the appliance before
handling attachments (assembly,
disassembly), after use, before cleaning, and
in case of malfunction.
- Never pull the mains lead to disconnect the
appliance.
- Never let the mains lead hang loose near a
heat source or within reach of children.
- Never place the body of the appliance in
water or under running water.
- If the mains lead or the plug are damaged,
do not use your appliance. In order to avoid
any accident, they must be replaced by an
approved Moulinex Centre (see list in the
leaïŹet «Moulinex Service»).
- Never dismantle the appliance.
Using the appliance
- Before using for the first time, clean the
attachments with soapy water. Rinse and dry
carefully.
With your hand-mixer you can prepare light
mixtures such as : mayonnaise, egg whites,
sauce, batter, light cake mixtures...
- Do not use it for heavy batters or doughs:
pastry, brioche, bread...
The plastic whisks are especially (D)
recommended for preparing mixtures in con-
tainers with non-stick coating, and to make
less noise.
. Use
- Check that the control switch is in â0â(B)
position.
- Insert the whisks into the body of(C or D)
the appliance (A).
