The MondeF Server uses a Windows 10 operating system. The MondeF software, the Dante Virtual
Soundcard and the Dante Controller are already installed.
To operate the MondeF server, a USB PC mouse, a USB PC keyboard and an HDMI monitor are
required (not supplied)!
The MondeF system can also be conveniently operated via the HD touchscreen monitors MDF-…-M
available separately.
Two local Windows user accounts are set up on the MondeF server:
The account “Settings” is the user account for the administrator for system configuration.
The account “MondeF” is the user account for the operator; this account operates in the Windows 10
“kiosk mode” and is used after the system configuration has been completed.
To exit the Windows kiosk mode, press the key combination Strg + Alt + Entf.
To change the Windows user account, press the key combination Windows + L.
The system language of the MondeF software automatically adapts to the Windows system
language. To change the language settings, the Windows language must be changed in both
Windows user accounts.
To do this, select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language.
Select a language from the Windows display language menu.
The settings for the Windows kiosk mode can be found in Windows 10 under
Start > Settings -> Accounts -> Family & other users Assigned access. ->

Connect all Dante devices and MondeF controllers to the same network. Connect the MondeF main
unit to the network. For MondeF systems with more then 16 zones, for best results use a second
network that is used for Dante audio distribution only.
Start up the system and enter the “Settings” account for configuration. Password for this account is
at the label on the server. Please set a unique password after logging in.
All passwords and access codes are printed on the server. For maximum security
please set a unique password after logging in.
Start Dante Controller und - - er Start >Audinate >Controller.
Here you can connect the Dante devices to the inputs and outputs of the MondeF server. Make sure
the green indicator shows up when connecting Dante devices. A common warning is a sample
mismatch, set the device you are connecting to the same samplerate as the server to resolve this
issue (16 Bit / 44,1 kHz).

sources use 2 channels per zone and source.
