1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Über diesen HDMI

TM-Umschalter können zwei Abspielge-

räte mit HDMI

TM an einem Wiedergabegerät mit HDMI

angeschlossen werden. Die Umschaltung zwischen den

Abspielgeräten kann automatisch und manuell erfolgen.

Der Umschalter ist mit dem Standard HDMI

TM Deep Color

kompatibel.

stelle für Signale mit hoher Auflösung

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Die Geräte (Umschalter und Netzgerät) entsprechen

allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb

mit gekennzeichnet.

GDie Geräte sind nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich

geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwas-

ser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-

satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

GNehmen Sie den Umschalter nicht in Betrieb und zie-

hen Sie sofort das Netzgerät aus der Steckdose, wenn:

1. sichtbare Schäden am Netzgerät oder Umschalter

vorhanden sind,

2. nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht auf

einen Defekt besteht,

3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Lassen Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall in einer Fachwerk-

statt reparieren.

GVerwenden Sie zum Säubern nur ein trockenes wei-

ches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.

GWerden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig

angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht

repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende

Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für

die Geräte übernommen werden.

3 Anschluss und Bedienung

1) Die Abspielgeräte an die Buchsen „Input 1“ und

„Input 2“ anschließen und das Wiedergabegerät an die

Buchse „Output“. Die Abbildung unten zeigt ein

Anschlussbeispiel.

2) Bei langen HDMI

TM-Kabeln (länger als 5 m) das beilie-

gende Netzgerät an die Buchse „DC 5 V“ anschließen

und in eine Steckdose (230 V~/ 50 Hz) stecken. Bei kur-

zen Kabeln kann die Stromversorgung über eines der

angeschlossenen Geräte erfolgen (ggf. ausprobieren).

3) Sobald ein Abspielgerät eingeschaltet wird, schaltet

der HDMS-201 automatisch auf das eingeschaltete

Gerät um und die zugehörige Anzeige des HDMS-201

leuchtet.

4) Sind beide Abspielgeräte eingeschaltet, kann mit der

Taste „Select“ zwischen den Geräten umgeschaltet

werden.

5) Wird der Umschalter längere Zeit nicht gebraucht, das

Netzgerät aus der Steckdose ziehen. Es verbraucht

sonst ständig einen geringen Strom.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to

operating the unit and keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

Via this HDMI

TM switcher two players with HDMI

TM can be

connected to a reproducer with HDMI

TM. It is possible to

switch between the players automatically and manually.

The switcher is compatible with the standard HDMI

Deep Color.

2 Safety Notes

The units (switcher and power supply unit) correspond to

all required directives of the EU and are therefore marked

with .

GThe units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them

against dripping water and splash water, high air

humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature

range 0 – 40 °C).

GDo not set the switcher into operation, or immediately

disconnect the power supply unit from the mains socket

1. there is visible damage to the power supply unit or to

the switcher,

2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar

accident,

3. malfunctions occur.

The units must in any case be repaired by skilled per-

sonnel.

GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chem-

icals or water.

GNo guarantee claims for the units and no liability for any

resulting personal damage or material damage will be

accepted if the units are used for other purposes than

originally intended, if they are not correctly connected

or operated, or not repaired in an expert way.

3 Connection and Operation

1) Connect the players to the jacks “Input 1” and “Input 2”

and the reproducer to the jack “Output”. The figure

below shows an example of connection.

2) For long HDMI

TM cables (longer than 5 m) connect the

supplied power supply unit to the jack “DC 5 V” and to

a socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz). For short cables the power

can be supplied via one of the connected units (to be

tested, if required).

3) As soon as a player is switched on, the HDMS-201

automatically switches to the unit switched on and the

corresponding indication of the HDMS-201 lights up.

4) If both players are switched on, it is possible to switch

between the units with the button “Select”.

5) If the switcher is not used for a longer period of time,

disconnect the power supply unit from the socket, oth-

erwise a low current will permanently be consumed.

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation

Via ce commutateur HDMI

TM, on peut relier deux lecteurs

avec HDMI

TM à un appareil de restitution avec HDMI

TM.

La commutation entre les lecteurs peut se faire automati-

quement ou manuellement. Le commutateur est compati-

ble avec le standard HDMI

TM Deep Color.

2 Conseils dʼutilisation et de sécurité

Les appareils (commutateur et bloc secteur) répondent à

toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion européenne

et portent donc le symbole .

GLes appareils ne sont conçus que pour une utilisation

en intérieur. Protégez-les des éclaboussures, de tout

type de projections dʼeau, dʼune humidité élevée de lʼair

et de la chaleur (température ambiante admissible

0 – 40 °C).

GNe faites pas fonctionner le commutateur ou débranchez

le bloc secteur immédiatement du secteur lorsque :

1. des dommages visibles apparaissent sur le commu-

tateur ou le bloc secteur,

2. après une chute ou un cas similaire, vous avez un

doute sur lʼétat des appareils,

3. des défaillances apparaissent.

Dans tous les cas, les dommages doivent être réparés

par un technicien spécialisé.

GPour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec et

doux, en aucun cas, de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.

GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-

mages matériels ou corporels consécutifs si les appa-

reils sont utilisés dans un but autre que celui pour

lequel ils ont été conçus, sʼils ne sont pas correctement

branchés, utilisés ou ne sont pas réparés par une per-

sonne habilitée ; de même, la garantie deviendrait

caduque.

3 Branchement et utilisation

1) Reliez les lecteurs aux prises “Input 1” et “Input 2” et

reliez lʼappareil de restitution à la prise “Output”. Le

dessin ci-dessous présente un exemple de branche-

ment.

2) Pour de longs câbles HDMI

TM (supérieur à 5 m), reliez

le bloc secteur livré à la prise “DC 5 V” et à une prise

secteur 230 V~/ 50 Hz. Pour des câbles courts, lʼali-

mentation peut se faire via un des appareils reliés (le

cas échéant, faites un essai).

3) Dès quʼun lecteur est allumé, le HDMS-201 commute

automatiquement sur lʼappareil allumé, lʼaffichage cor-

respondant du HDMS-201 brille.

4) Si deux lecteurs sont allumés, on peut commuter avec

la touche “Select” entre les appareils.

5) En cas de non utilisation prolongée du commutateur,

débranchez le bloc secteur du secteur. Il a tout le

temps une faible consommation.
