Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possĂ©dant
des connaissances sufïŹsantes en technique de
sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la présente
notice avec attention avant l‘installation et conser-
vez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 PossibilitĂ©s d’utilisation
Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une uti-
lisation dans des installations de Public Adress. Il est
Ă©quipĂ© d’un transformateur pour un fonctionnement
dans des installations 100 V. Grùce à son boßtier résis-
tant aux intempéries (IP 44) et à une membrane en poly-
propylÚne, il est également utilisable en extérieur. Le
modÚle EDL-220 / WS est équipé de deux haut-parleurs.
Le son rayonne ainsi dans deux directions.
2 Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de l’Union europĂ©enne et porte donc le symbole .
‱
ProtĂ©gez le haut-parleur d’une grande chaleur ou
d’un grand froid (plage de tempĂ©rature de fonction-
nement autorisĂ©e : 0 – 40 °C).
‱
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
doux, sec ou lĂ©gĂšrement humide, n’utilisez jamais de
produits chimiques ou de détergents agressifs.
‱
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-
parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a Ă©tĂ© conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement ins-
tallĂ© ou branchĂ© ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre, la
garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est dĂ©ïŹnitivement
retiré du service, éliminez-le conformément
aux directives locales.

3 Montage
Fixez le haut-parleur via l’étrier de montage sur le mur
ou au plafond. Pour orienter le haut-parleur, déver-
rouillez les deux vis latérales, orientez le haut-parleur
dans la position voulue et revissez.
4 Branchement Ă©lectrique
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une ten-
sion de contact dangereuse jusqu’à
100 V est présente au cùble de
connexion. Seul un personnel qualiïŹĂ©
peut effectuer l’installation.
Isolez impérativement les conducteurs inutilisés du
cĂąble de branchement. Faites attention Ă  la charge
de l’ampliïŹcateur Public Adress par les haut-parleurs.
Une surcharge peut l’endommager ! La somme des
puissance de tous les haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas
dĂ©passer la puissance de l’ampliïŹcateur.
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allumĂ©e, veillez Ă  la
débrancher totalement !
2) Reliez le haut-parleur : reliez le conducteur noir et le
conducteur orange, gris ou blanc en fonction de la
puissance nominale souhaitée par le haut-parleur, à
la sortie 100 V de l’ampliïŹcateur (voir tableau).
3) Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez à ce
que les haut-parleurs aient tous la mĂȘme polaritĂ©
(p. ex. conducteur noir = pĂŽle moins).

PA Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with
sufïŹcient knowledge in 100 V technology for PA
applications. Please read the instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later ref-
erence.
1 Applications
This speaker has specially been designed for applica-
tions in PA systems. It is equipped with a transformer
for operation at 100 V systems. The speaker provides a
weatherproof cabinet (IP 44) and a polypropylene cone
and is therefore also suitable for outdoor installation.
Model EDL-220 / WS is equipped with two speakers so
that sound is radiated in two directions.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with .

Protect the speaker against extreme high or low
temperatures (admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).
‱
For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly
damp; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.
‱
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the speaker is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
installed or connected, or if it is overloaded.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
deïŹnitely, dispose of the speaker in accord-
ance with local regulations.
3 Installation
Use the mounting bracket to fasten the speaker to a
wall or ceiling. To adjust the speaker, release the two
lateral screws, position the speaker as desired, then
retighten the screws.
4 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at
the connection cable. Installation must
be carried out by skilled personnel only.
Always insulate the cores of the connection cable
which are not used. Observe to the load of the PA
ampliïŹer by the speakers. An overload will damage
the PA ampliïŹer! The total power of all speakers con-
nected must not exceed the ampliïŹer power.
1) If the PA system is switched on, ïŹrst switch it off
completely!
2) Connect the speaker: Connect the black core and
the orange, grey or white core corresponding to the
desired power rating by the speaker to the 100 V
output of the ampliïŹer (see table).
3) When connecting several speakers, make sure that
all speakers have the same polarity (e. g. black core
= negative pole).

Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation
grĂŒndlich durch und heben Sie sie fĂŒr ein spĂ€teres
Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell fĂŒr den Einsatz in ELA-
Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertrager fĂŒr
den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet. Durch
sein wetterfestes GehÀuse (IP 44) und eine Membran
aus Polypropylen ist er auch fĂŒr Außeninstallationen
verwendbar. Das Modell EDL-220 / WS ist mit zwei Laut-
sprechern ausgestattet. Dadurch wird der Schall in zwei
Richtungen abgestrahlt.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und trÀgt deshalb das -Zeichen.
‱
SchĂŒtzen Sie den Lautsprecher vor großer Hitze und
KĂ€lte (zulĂ€ssiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
‱
Verwenden Sie fĂŒr die Reinigung nur ein trockenes
oder leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen
Fall Chemikalien oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.
‱
Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder ĂŒber-
lastet, kann keine Haftung fĂŒr daraus resultierende
Sach- oder PersonenschĂ€den und keine Garantie fĂŒr
den Lautsprecher ĂŒbernommen werden.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgĂŒltig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie
ihn gemĂ€ĂŸ den örtlichen Vor schriften.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher ĂŒber den MontagebĂŒgel an der
Wand oder Decke befestigen. Zum Ausrichten des Laut-
sprechers die beiden seitlichen Schrauben lockern, den
Lautsprecher in die gewĂŒnschte Richtung schwenken
und die Schrauben wieder festdrehen.
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berĂŒhrungsgefĂ€hrliche
Spannung bis 100 V an der Anschlusslei-
tung an. Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht benutzten Adern der
Anschlussleitung. Achten Sie auf die Belastung des
ELA-VerstĂ€rkers durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlas-
tung kann den VerstÀrker beschÀdigen! Die Summe
der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher
darf die VerstĂ€rkerleistung nicht ĂŒberschreiten.
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zuerst
komplett ausschalten!
2) Den Lautsprecher anschließen: Die schwarze Ader
und die orange, graue oder weiße Ader, entspre-
chend der gewĂŒnschten Nennbelastung durch den
Lautsprecher, mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des VerstÀr-
kers verbinden (siehe Tabelle).
3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf
achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt wer-
den (z. B. schwarze Ader = Minuspol).

Altavoz para MegafonĂ­a
Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores con
un conocimiento suïŹciente sobre la tecnologĂ­a de
100 V en aplicaciones para megafonĂ­a. Lea atenta-
mente estas instrucciones antes de la instalaciĂłn y
guĂĄrdelas para usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
Este altavoz p2-ha sido especialmente diseñado para apli-
caciones en sistemas de megafonĂ­a. EstĂĄ equipado con
un transformador para el funcionamiento en sistemas
de 100 V. Gracias a su recinto resistente a la intempe-
rie (IP 44) y un cono de polipropileno también estå
indicado para instalaciones en el exterior. El modelo
EDL-220 / WS estĂĄ equipado con dos altavoces. De este
modo, el sonido se radia en dos direcciones.
2 Notas de Seguridad
El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevantes de
laUE y por ello está marcado con .
‱
Proteja el altavoz de las temperaturas extremada-
mente altas o bajas (rango de temperatura ambiente
admisible 0 – 40 °C).
‱
Utilice sĂłlo un paño suave y seco, o levemente hĂș-
medo, para la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni productos
quĂ­micos ni detergentes agresivos.
‱
No podrĂĄ reclamarse garantĂ­a o responsabilidad al-
guna por cualquier daño personal o material pro-
ducido si se utiliza el altavoz para ïŹnes diferentes a
los originalmente concebidos, si no se conecta o se
instala correctamente, o si se sobrecarga.
Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servicio
deïŹnitivamente, deshĂĄgase del altavoz
segĂșn las normativas locales.
3 Montaje
Sujete el altavoz a la pared o al techo mediante su
soporte de montaje. Para ajustar el altavoz, suelte los
dos tornillos laterales, coloque el altavoz como desee y
luego vuelva a apretar los tornillos.
4 Conexión Eléctrica
ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento, existe el
peligro de contacto con un voltaje de
hasta 100 V en el cable de conexiĂłn. SĂłlo
un técnico debe realizar la instalación.
AĂ­sle siempre los conductores del cable de conexiĂłn
del altavoz que no se utilizan. Preste atenciĂłn a la
carga del sistema de megafonĂ­a con los altavoces.
ÂĄUna sobrecarga puede dañar el ampliïŹcador! La
potencia total de todos los altavoces conectados no
puede sobrepasar la potencia del ampliïŹcador.
1) -ÂĄSi el sistema de megafonĂ­a estĂĄ encendido, apĂĄ
guelo primero completamente!
2) Conecte el altavoz: Conecte el conductor negro y el
naranja, gris, o blanco correspondiendo al Ă­ndice de
potencia deseada por el altavoz a la salida de 100 V
del ampliïŹcador (vea tabla).
3) Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegĂșrese de que
todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad (p. ej.
conductor negro = polo negativo).

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalato-
rów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów PA
pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem
uĆŒytkowania proszę zapoznać się z instrukcją, a
następnie zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
GƂoƛnik ten przeznaczony jest do zastosowania w sys-
temach PA, zostaƂ wyposaĆŒony w transformator do
pracy w technice 100 V. Obudowa odporna na dziaƂa-
nie czynnikĂłw atmosferycznych (IP 44) oraz polipropy-
lenowa membrane umoĆŒliwiają montaĆŒ urządzenia na
zewnątrz. Model EDL-220 / WS jest wyposaĆŒony w dwa
gƂoƛniki, dzięki czemu dĆșwięk rozchodzi się w dwĂłch
kierunkach.
2 BezpieczeƄstwo uĆŒytkowania
PoniewaĆŒ gƂoƛnik speƂnia wymogi norm obowiązują-
cych w Unii Europejskiej, zostaƂ oznaczony symbolem .
‱
NaleĆŒy chronić urządzenie przed dziaƂaniem bardzo
wysokich lub bardzo niskich temperatur (dopuszczal-
ny zakres temperatury otoczenia pracy 0 – 40 °C).
‱
Do czyszczenia urządzenia naleĆŒy uĆŒywać miękkiej
tkaniny, suchej lub nieco wilgotnej; nie wolno uĆŒy-
wać chemicznych ƛrodków czyszczących ani deter-
gentĂłw.
‱
Producent i dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzialno-
ƛci za powstaƂe szkody: uszkodzenia sprzętu bądĆș
obraĆŒenia uĆŒytkownika, jeĆŒeli gƂoƛnik byƂ uĆŒywany
niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, niepoprawnie zain-
stalowany, podƂączony lub przeciÄ…ĆŒony.
Po caƂkowitym zakoƄczeniu eksploatacji,
gƂo ƛnik naleĆŒy oddać do punktu utylizacji
odpadów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszczenia ƛro-
dowiska.
3 MontaĆŒ
NaleĆŒy przymocować gƂoƛnik do ƛciany lub do suïŹtu za
pomocą uchwytu montaĆŒowego. Aby ustawić gƂoƛnik
w ĆŒÄ…danym poƂoĆŒeniu, naleĆŒy poluzować dwie ƛruby
boczne, następnie wybrać odpowiednią pozycję gƂo-
ƛnika i dokręcić ƛruby.
4 PodƂączenie
UWAGA Podczas pracy urządzenia na przyƂączu linii
występuje napięcie osiągające do 100 V,
ktĂłre stanowi potencjalne zagroĆŒenie dla
zdrowia lub ĆŒycia. PodƂączenie urządzenia
naleĆŒy zlecić specjaliƛcie.
NaleĆŒy zawsze zabezpieczać ĆŒyƂy przewodu poƂą-
czeniowego na jego nieuĆŒywanych koƄcach. NaleĆŒy
zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór mocy gƂoƛników
do mocy wzmacniacza. Nieodpowiedni dobĂłr mocy
gƂoƛnikĂłw moĆŒe spowodować uszkodzenie wzmac-
niacza PA! CaƂkowita moc wszystkich podƂączonych
gƂoƛnikĂłw nie moĆŒe przekraczać mocy wzmacniacza.
1) Jeƛli system PA jest wƂączony, naleĆŒy go wyƂączyć
przed rozpoczęciem podƂączania gƂoƛników!
2) PodƂączanie gƂoƛnika: NaleĆŒy poƂączyć czarną ĆŒyƂę
z zyƂą pomaraƄczową, szarą lub biaƂą, w zaleĆŒnoƛci
od ĆŒÄ…danej mocy znamionowej gƂoƛnika, do wyjƛcia
100 V wzmacniacza (zob. tabela).
3) -Przy podƂączaniu kilku gƂoƛnikĂłw naleĆŒy się upew
nić, czy wszystkie gƂoƛniki mają odpowiednią biegu-
nowoƛć (np. czarna ĆŒyƂa = biegun ujemny).

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che
possiedono delle conoscenze speciïŹche sufïŹcienti
della tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghia-
mo di leggerle attentamente prima dell‘installazio-
ne e di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo altoparlante Ăš stato realizzato in modo partico-
lare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equipaggiato con
un trasformatore per impianti con uscita audio a 100 V.
Grazie al contenitore resistente alle intemperie (IP 44)
e alla membrana in polipropilene puĂČ essere impiegato
anche per installazioni esterne. Il modello EDL- 220/WS
Ăš equipaggiato con due altoparlanti. In questo modo,
il suono viene diffuso in due direzioni.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
L’altoparlante ù conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
‱
Proteggere l’altoparlante da forte freddo e caldo
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 – 40 °C).
‱
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto
o leggermente inumidito; non impiegare in nessun
caso prodotti chimici o detergenti aggressivi.
‱
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio non a regola
d’arte, di collegamento sbagliato o di sovraccarico
del diffusore, non si assume nessuna responsabilitĂ 
per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose
e non si assume nessuna garanzia per il diffusore.
Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlante deïŹni-
tivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento
ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Montaggio
Fissare l’altoparlante alla parete o al sofïŹtto servendosi
della staffa di montaggio. Per orientare l’altoparlante,
allentare le due viti laterali, girare l’altoparlante nella
direzione voluta e stringere nuovamente le viti.
4 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, al cavo di
collegamento Ăš presente una tensione
pericolosa ïŹno a 100 V. L’installazione
deve essere fatta solo da personale
qualiïŹcato.
Isolare assolutamente i conduttori non usati del cavo di
collegamento. Fare attenzione al carico che gli altopar-
lanti esercitano sull’ampliïŹcatore PA. Un sovraccarico
puĂČ danneggiare l’ampliïŹcatore! La somma delle po-
tenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve supera-
re la potenza dell’ampliïŹcatore.
1) Se l’impianto PA ù acceso occorre dapprima spe-
gnerlo completamente!
2) -Collegare l’altoparlante: il conduttore nero e il con
duttore arancione, grigio o bianco, a seconda della
potenza nominale desiderata, con l’uscita 100 V
dell’ampliïŹcatore (vedi tabella).
3) Nel caso di collegamento di piĂč altoparlanti fare
attenzione all’identica polarità di tutti gli altopar-
lanti (p. es. conduttore nero = negativo).
