Wireless Remote Control

These instructions are intended for users without

any speciﬁc technical knowledge. Please read these

instructions carefully prior to operating the remote

control and keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

The remote control can be used together with the

controllers CU-1BT, CU-3BT and CU-4BT. Thus, it is pos-

sible to control the LED strip connected to the control-

ler CU-..BT via a remote control. The model CU-1BTT

is designed for wall mounting; the model CU-2BTT is

a hand-held remote control. The operating range is

approx. 15 m.

2 Important Notes

The remote control corresponds to all relevant direc-

tives of the EU and is therefore marked with .

• The remote control is suitable for indoor use only.

Protect it against dripping water and splash water,

high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tem-

perature range 0 – 40 °C).

• For cleaning only use a dry soft cloth; never use water

or chemicals.

• No guarantee claims for the remote control and no li-

ability for any resulting personal damage or material

damage will be accepted if the unit is used for other

purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly

connected or operated, or if it is not repaired in an

expert way.

If the remote control is to be put out of oper-

ation deﬁnitively, take it to a local recycling

plant for a disposal which is not harmful to

the environment.

Never put batteries in the household waste. To protect

the environment, always take them to a special waste

disposal, e. g. collection container at your retailer.

2.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that

the remote controls (CU-1BTT and CU-2BTT) comply

with the directive 2014 /53/EU. The EU declaration of

conformity is available on request from MONACOR

INTERNATIONAL. The remote controls are generally

approved for operation in EU and EFTA countries, they

are licence-free and require no registration.

3 Setting the Remote Control into Operation

The remote control is supplied with a battery. Prior to

initial operation, remove the protective ﬁlm from the

battery compartment. To access the battery compart-

ment:

 At the CU-1BTT, use a screwdriver to prise off the sup-

port plate on the rear side

 At the CU-2BTT, take off the battery compartment

cover

If the remote control is not used for a longer time, re-

move the battery as a precaution so that the remote

control will not be damaged in case the battery should

leak.

Replacing the battery

1) Open the battery compartment as described above.

2) At the model CU-1BTT, push the gold-coloured

retention clip outwards.

3) Remove the discharged battery and insert the new

battery (3 V button cell of type CR 2032), positive

pole facing upwards.

3.1 Mounting the CU-1BTT

1) -Remove the support plate on the rear side (chap

ter3).

2) Screw the support plate to a suitable location on the

wall.

3) Place the remote control, with the button facing

upwards, onto the plate and then press on the re-

mote control to ﬁx it securely onto the support plate.

3.2 Pairing controller and remote control

For the controller to respond to the remote control,

ﬁrst pair the remote control with the controller.

A single remote control can also simultaneously be

paired with multiple controllers. A maximum of 5 re-

mote controls can be paired with a single controller.

1) Disconnect the controller(s) from the power supply

for at least 5 seconds.

2) Connect the controller(s) to the power supply again

and then simultaneously press the buttons and 

within 5 seconds. The status LED of the controller

will ﬂash 3 times in light green as a conﬁrmation.

3) -If applicable, repeat steps 1 and 2 for additional re

mote controls.

4 Operation

1) To switch the LEDs on and off, press the button .

2) Use the buttons  and  to call up the settings one

after the other that have been saved as favourites

on the smartphone or iPad by means of an app (see

instructions of the controller).

When a button on the remote control is pressed, the

status LED of the controller will brieﬂy light up in white.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Benutzer ohne be-

sondere Fachkenntnisse. Bitte lesen Sie die Anlei-

tung vor dem Betrieb gründlich durch und heben

Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Die Fernbedienung kann mit den Steuergeräten

CU-1BT, CU-3BT und CU-4BT kombiniert werden. Der

am CU-..BT angeschlossene LED-Streifen lässt sich so

über die Fernbedienung steuern. Das Modell CU-1BTT

ist für die Wandmontage vorgesehen; das Modell

CU-2BTT dient als Handfernbedienung. Die Reichweite

beträgt ca. 15 m.

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Die Fernbedienung entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

• Verwenden Sie die Fernbedienung nur im Innenbe-

reich und schützen Sie sie vor Feuchtigkeit, Tropf-

und Spritzwasser sowie vor Kälte und Hitze (zulässi-

ger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

• Verwenden Sie zum Säubern nur ein trockenes wei-

ches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.

• Wird die Fernbedienung zweckentfremdet, nicht

richtig angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht

fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für dar-

aus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und

keine Garantie für die Fernbedienung übernommen

werden.

Soll die Fernbedienung endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie

sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem

örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

Batterien dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll geworfen wer-

den. Geben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung

nur in den Sondermüll (z. B. zurück zum Händler oder

zu öffentlichen Sammelstellen).

2.1 Konformität und Zulassung

Hiermit erklärt MONACOR INTERNATIONAL, dass die

Fernbedienungen (CU-1BTT und CU-2BTT) der Richt-

linie 2014 /53/EU entsprechen. Die EU-Konformitäts-

erklärungen können bei MONACOR INTERNATIONAL

angefordert werden. Die Fernbedienungen sind für

den Betrieb in den EU- und EFTA-Staaten allgemein

zugelassen und anmelde- und gebührenfrei.

3 Inbetriebnahme

Die Fernbedienung wird mit einer Batterie geliefert.

Vor dem ersten Betrieb die Schutzfolie aus dem Batte-

riefach ziehen. Das Batteriefach ist zugängig:

 Bei CU-1BTT nach dem Abhebeln (mit Hilfe eines

Schraubendrehers) der festgeklemmten, rückseitigen

Halteplatte

 Bei CU-2BTT nach dem Abnehmen des Batteriefach-

deckels

Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch die Batterie sicherheits-

halber herausnehmen, damit die Fernbedienung bei

einem eventuellen Auslaufen der Batterie nicht be-

schädigt wird.

Batterie auswechseln

1) Das Batteriefach, wie zuvor beschrieben, öffnen.

2) Bei dem Modell CU-1BTT die goldfarbene Haltefeder

nach außen drücken.

3) Die alte Batterie entfernen und die neue Batterie

(3-V-Knopfzelle, Typ CR 2032) mit dem Pluspol nach

oben einsetzen.

3.1 Montage der CU-1BTT

1) Die rückseitige Halteplatte abnehmen (Kap. 3).

2) Die Halteplatte an geeigneter Stelle der Wand fest-

schrauben.

3) Die Fernbedienung mit der Taste nach oben zei-

gend auf die Halteplatte setzen und durch Drücken

festklemmen.

3.2 Steuergerät und Fernbedienung zuordnen

Die Fernbedienung muss zuerst dem Steuergerät zuge-

ordnet werden, damit das Steuergerät auf die Fernbe-

dienung reagiert.

Eine Fernbedienung lässt sich auch mehreren Steu-

ergeräten gleichzeitig zuordnen. Den Steuergeräten

lassen sich bis zu 5 Fernbedienungen zuordnen.

1) Das (die) Steuergerät(e) mindestens 5 s von der Strom-

versorgung trennen.

2) Nach dem Wiederanlegen der Stromversorgung

innerhalb von 5 s die Tasten und gleichzeitig 

drücken. Zur Bestätigung blinkt die Status-LED des

Steuergeräts dreimal hellgrün.

3) -Die Bedienschritte 1 und 2 ggf. für weitere Fernbe

dienungen wiederholen.

4 Bedienung

1) Zum Ein- und Ausschalten der LEDs die Taste

drücken.

2) Mit den Tasten und lassen sich die Einstellun  -

gen nacheinander abrufen, die als Favoriten über

die App auf dem Smartphone oder iPad gespeichert

wurden (siehe Anleitung des Steuergeräts).

Die Status-LED des Steuergeräts leuchtet kurz in Weiß,

wenn eine Taste auf der Fernbedienung gedrückt wird.

Telecomando wireless

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli utenti senza

conoscenze tecniche speciﬁche. Vi preghiamo di

leggerle attentamente prima della messa in fun-

zione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d‘uso

Il telecomando può essere combinato con le unità di

controllo CU-1BT, CU-3BT e CU-4BT. Così, la striscia con

LED collegata con la CU-..BT può essere comandata

attraverso il telecomando. Il modello CU-1BTT è previ-

sto per il montaggio a una parete; il modello CU-2BTT

invece serve come telecomando da tenere in mano. La

portata è di 15 m circa.

2 Avvertenze importanti per l‘uso

Il telecomando è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti

dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

• Usare il telecomando solo all’interno di locali e pro-

teggerlo dall’umidità, dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli

spruzzi d’acqua, nonché dal freddo e dal calore (tem-

peratura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).

• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;

non impiegare mai acqua o prodotti chimici.

• Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati,

d’impiego scorretto o di riparazione non a regola

d’arte del telecomando, non si assume nessuna re-

sponsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a

persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia

per il telecomando.

Se si desidera eliminare il telecomando deﬁni-

tivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad

un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

Non gettare le batterie scariche o difettose nelle

immondizie di casa bensì negli appositi contenitori

(p. es. presso il vostro rivenditore).

2.1 Conformità e omologazione

La MONACOR INTERNATIONAL dichiara che i teleco-

mandi (CU-1BTT e CU-2BTT) sono conformi alla diret-

tiva 2014 /53/UE. La dichiarazione di conformità UE può

essere richiesta presso MONACOR INTERNATIONAL.

I telecomandi sono omologati per l’impiego negli stati

dell’UE e dell’EFTA e non richiedono né registrazione

né pagamento di tasse.

3 Messa in funzione

Il telecomando viene fornito con una batteria. Prima

dell’uso occorre sﬁlare la pellicola protettiva dal porta-

batteria. Il vano batteria è accessibile:

 Nel CU-1BTT, dopo aver staccato, a forza di leva (con

l’aiuto di un cacciavite) la piastra posteriore incastrata

 Nel CU-2BTT dopo aver tolto il coperchio del vano

batteria

In caso di mancato uso prolungato conviene togliere

la batteria per non danneggiare il telecomando se la

batteria dovesse perdere.

Sostituire la batteria

1) Aprire il vano batteria come descritto sopra.

2) Nel modello CU-1BTT spingere verso l’esterno la

molla color oro.

3) Togliere la vecchia batteria e inserire una nuova bat-

teria (3 V a bottone, tipo CR 2032) con il polo positivo

rivolto verso l‘alto.

3.1 Montaggio del CU-1BTT

1) Togliere la piastra posteriore (Cap. 3).

2) Avvitare la piastra in un punto adatto della parete.

3) Sistemare il telecomando sulla piastra, con il tasto

rivolto verso l’alto, e incastrarlo con una pressione.

3.2 Coordinare unità di controllo e telecomando

Per prima cosa, il telecomando deve essere coordinato

all’unità di controllo, afﬁnché l’unità di controllo rea-

gisca al telecomando.

Un telecomando può essere coordinato anche a più

unità di controllo contemporaneamente. All’unità di

controllo si possono coordinare ﬁno a 5 telecomandi

1) Staccare la/le unità di controllo per un minimo di 5 s

dall‘alimentazione.

2) Dopo aver rimesso l’alimentazione, premere entro

5 s contemporaneamente i tasti e . Come con-

ferma, il LED di stato dell’unità di controllo lampeg-

gia tre volte in verde chiaro.

3) Eventualmente ripetere i punti 1 e 2 per ulteriori

telecomandi.

4 Funzionamento

1) Per accendere e spegnere il LED premere il tasto .

2) Con i tasti  e  si possono chiamare, una dopo

l‘altra, le impostazioni memorizzate come favoriti

tramite l‘app sullo smartphone o sull‘iPad (vedi le

istruzioni dell‘unità di controllo).

3) Il LED di stato dell‘unità di controllo si accende

brevemente in bianco se si preme un tasto del

telecomando.

Télécommande sans ﬁl

Cette notice s‘adresse aux utilisateurs sans connais-

sances techniques particulières. Veuillez lire la pré-

sente notice avec attention avant l’installation et

conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieu-

rement.

1 Possibilités d‘utilisation

La télécommande peut être combinée avec les contrô-

leurs CU-1BT, CU-3BT et CU-4BT. Le ﬂexled relié au

CU-...BT peut ainsi être géré via la télécommande.

Le modèle CU-1BTT est prévu pour un montage mural ;

le modèle CU-2BTT s‘utilise comme une télécommande

à main. La portée est de 15 m environ.

2 Conseils importants d’utilisation

La télécommande répond à toutes les directives néces-

saires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole .

• La télécommande n’est conçue que pour une utilisa-

tion en intérieur. Protégez-la de tout type de projec-

tions d‘eau, des éclaboussures, d‘une humidité éle-

vée de l‘air et de la chaleur (plage de température

de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

• Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon doux et sec, en

aucun cas d‘eau ou de produits chimiques.

• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-

mages matériels ou corporels résultants si la télécom-

mande est utilisée dans un but autre que celui pour

lequel elle a été conçue, si elle n‘est pas correctement

branchée ou utilisée ou si elle n‘est pas réparée par

une personne habilitée, en outre, la garantie devien-

drait caduque.

Lorsque la télécommande est déﬁnitivement

retirée du service, vous devez ladéposer dans

une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contri-

buer à son élimination non polluante.

Ne jetez pas les batteries usagées dans la poubelle

domestique ; déposez-les dans un container spéciﬁque

ou déposez-les chez votre détaillant.

2.1 Conformité et déclaration

Par la présente, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL déclare

que les télécommandes (CU-1BTT et CU-2BTT) sont

en conformité avec la directive 2014 /53/UE. La décla-

ration UE de conformité peut être demandée auprès

de MONACOR INTERNATIONAL. L‘appareil est autorisé

sans déclaration ni taxe dans les pays de l’Union euro-

péenne et de l’A.E.L.E.

3 Fonctionnement

La télécommande est livrée avec une batterie. Avant la

première utilisation, retirez la feuille de protection du

compartiment batterie. Pour accéder le compartiment

batterie:

 Sur le CU-1BTT, retirez la plaque de maintien sur la

face arrière avec un tournevis.

 Sur le CU-2BTT, retirez le couvercle du compartiment

batterie.

En cas de non utilisation prolongée, retirez la batterie,

elle pourrait couler et endommager la télécommande.

Remplacement de la batterie

1) Ouvrez le compartiment batterie comme décrit

ci-dessus.

2) Sur le modèle CU-1BTT, poussez vers l‘extérieur les

ressorts de maintien dorés.

3) Retirez la batterie déchargée, insérez la batterie

neuve (pile bouton 3 V, type CR 2032), pôle plus vers

le haut.

3.1 Montage du CU-1BTT

1) -Retirez la plaque de maintien sur la face arrière (cha

pitre 3).

2) Vissez la plaque de maintien à l‘endroit adaptésur

le mur.

3) Placez la télécommande sur la plaque de maintien,

touche - vers le haut, et appuyez sur la télécom

mande pour la ﬁxer sur le support.

3.2 Attributiondu contrôleur et de la télécommande

La télécommande doit tout d‘abord être attribuée au

contrôleur pour que ce dernier réagisse à la télécom-

mande.

Une télécommande peut être attribuée simulta-

nément à plusieurs contrôleurs. 5 contrôleurs au plus

peuvent être attribuésà une seule télécommande.

1) Débranchez le (les) contrôleur(s) pendant 5 secondes

au moins.

2) -Une fois l‘alimentation à nouveau branchée, ap

puyez simultanément sur les touches et dans 

un délaide 5 secondes. La LED d‘état du contrôleur

clignote trois fois en vert clair pour conﬁrmer.

3) Répétez les points 1 et 2 si besoin pour d‘autres télé-

commandes.

4 Utilisation

1) Pour allumer et éteindre les LEDs, appuyez sur la

touche .

2) Avec les touches  et , vous pouvez appeler, les

uns après les autres, les réglages mémorisés comme

favoris via une application sur le Smartphone ou iPad

(voir notice du contrôleur).

La LED d‘état du contrôleur brille brièvement en blanc

lorsqu‘une touche sur la télécommande est appuyée.
