Please read this manual carefully before using this device.
This device is not intended for medical use in hospitals:
For household use only.
To avoid any risk of electric shock when using the pad
please observe the following:
- Do not use if wet. If the pad has become damp or wet,
completely dry the pad before use.
- Only use the pad in dry rooms, not e.g. in the bathroom.
- Check that the pad is undamaged each time before use,
i.e. do not use it if there is visible damage to the hand
control, switches, plug or the pad itself.
- Do not insert pins or other sharp objects.
To avoid overheating:
- Do not leave the pad switched on unsupervised; switch it
off when you leave the room.
- Do not use the pad while folded.
- Avoid creasing the pad.
-Do not cover the hand control! To ensure that the hand
control functions correctly, do not place it on or under the
heating pad or cover it with other objects.
- The cable should not be wound around the hand control.
Do not use on a person incapable of movement, a baby,
a person insensitive to heat, or animals. Do not let chil-
dren play with the device.
Ensure that children do not use this device unsupervised.
Children under 8 years of age must not use this device unless a
parent or guardian has set the control to the lowest temperature
setting 1.
This device may be used by children aged 8 or over and by
people who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abili-
ties or inadequate experience and/or knowledge, provided
they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use
the device safely and have understood the resulting dangers.
Excessive application at a high setting can result in skin burns.
When the device is likely to be used for an extended
period, i.e. by the user falling asleep, controls should be
adjusted to a setting recommended for continuous use.
Examine the device frequently for signs of wear or
damage. If there are signs of wear or damage or the device
has been misused, please contact the manufacturer or
authorised agent prior to any further use.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid any hazards.
Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself.
Special tools are required to re-assemble the device.
This device emits very weak electrical and magnetic
fields which may disturb the function of your cardiac
pacemaker. Therefore, we recommend you to consult your
physician and the manufacturer of your cardiac pacemaker
before using this device.
Allow the device to cool down before folding and storing it in
a dry place.
Do not place heavy objects on it to prevent buckling.
Not suitable for children between 0-3 years!
Children
under 3 years of age are unable to respond to overheating.
Electronic devices must be disposed of in accordance with
the locally applicable regulations, not with domestic waste.
1. How to Use a Microlife Heating Pad
WARNING: Never use the pad without the cloth cover.
Allow some air circulation between the pad and skin
during use.
The device is not to be used for warming animals.
1. Put the cloth cover 1 on a flat surface. Open the fastener.
2. Insert the pad 3 completely into the cover, fitting one side
at a time. Make sure the cable and hand control 2 remain
outside the cover.
3. The pad will lie flat, filling the entire cover. Close fastener.
4. Plug into a 220-240 volt AC mains socket and set the hand
control to the desired heat setting using the slider.
Select the temperature setting on the slider – this
switches on the heat pad. An indicator will illuminate,
showing that the appliance is connected to the power
supply and is switched on.
Setting 1 is recommended for continuous use.
The pad is switched off by moving the slider to the «0»
position. The indicator light will then turn off.
5. The hand control will automatically turn off the heater
after approximately 90 minutes, then the indicator light will
flash until reset or turn off. To reset the timer and start a
further heating period, move the slider to the off «0» position
and then back to the desired heat setting.
6. Unplug when finished.
2. Cleaning Instructions
WARNING:
Always unplug the power cable from the mains
socket before undertaking any cleaning of the product.
1. The cover can be machine washed after removal from the
pad according to the washing instructions given on the cover.
2. The pad must not be machine washed or dry-cleaned.
The FH 80 & FH 100 (PVC surface) can be cleaned by using
a soft damp cloth. The FH 200, FH 200C, FH 300, FH 310 &
FH 320 (cotton or velvet surface) can be cleaned with a
brush when dry.
3. Do not allow the hand control to get wet. Do not use any
detergents or solvents as they may damage the device.
4. Never hold the hand control under water. Otherwise moisture
may enter the hand control and cause damage.
5. Check the hand control for signs of damage. Dry the pad and
its fabric cover completely before switching it on again.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

This guarantee does not cover incorrect use, accidents or
damage resulting from failure to follow instructions, or modifica-

antee card completed by the dealer.

Veuillez lire ce manuel attentivement avant d'utiliser ce
produit.
Ce produit ne se destine pas à une application médicale en
milieu hospitalier. Il est réservé à un usage domestique.
Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique pendant
l'emploi, veuillez prendre les précautions suivantes:
- Evitez toute utilisation en cas d'humidité. Si le coussin est
devenu humide, séchez-le bien avant de le mettre en oeuvre.
- Utilisez le coussin seulement dans des locaux secs et
aérés, ne l'utilisez pas dans une salle de bain, etc.!
- Vérifiez l'état du coussin avant toute utilisation. Ne vous
en servez pas si vous observez des défauts sur la
commande manuelle, les interrupteurs, les connecteurs
ou le coussin lui-même.
- N'y insérez pas d'épingle ni aucun autre objet pointu.
Pour éviter une surchauffe:
- Ne laissez pas le coussin allumé sans surveillance.
Mettez-le hors tension avant de quitter la pièce.
- N'utilisez pas le coussin plié.
- Evitez de froisser le coussin.

Pour garantir
un fonctionnement correct de la commande, ne pas la placer
sur ou en dessous du coussin chauffant ou d'un autre objet.
- N'enroulez pas le câble autour de la commande manuelle.
N'appliquez pas le produit sur une personne incapable de
bouger, insensible à la chaleur, sur un bébé ou sur des
animaux.
Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec le produit.
Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser le produit sans
surveillance. Les enfants en dessous de 8 ans ne doivent
pas utiliser ce produit à moins qu'un adulte ait réglé sur la
température la plus basse «1».
Ce produit peut être utilisé par des enfants de 8 ans et plus ou
par des personnes à mobilité réduite, ou en incapacité senso-
rielle ou mentale ou sans connaissances du produit dans le
cas où ces derniers auraient été correctement renseignés sur
l'utilisation du produit et les dangers inhérents possibles.
Une exposition excessive à une haute température peut
provoquer des brûlures.
Si le produit reste allumé longtemps, par exemple sur
une personne qui s'endort, réglez-le sur un niveau adapté
à une utilisation continue.
Vérifiez fréquemment l'état du produit à la recherche de
toute trace d'usure ou de dommage. Si vous observez de
tels signes sur le produit ou si celui-ci a été mal utilisé,
adressez-vous au fabricant ou au représentant agréé avant
de continuer à vous en servir.
Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, faites-le
remplacer par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou
des personnes ayant des qualifications similaires pour
prévenir tout risque.
N'essayez pas d'ouvrir ou de réparer le produit vous-même.
Le réassemblage du produit nécessite des outils spéciaux.
Le produit émet de très faibles champs éléctriques et magné-
tiques qui pourraient perturber le bon fonctionnement de
votre pacemaker.
Ainsi, nous vous recommandons de demander
l'avis de votre médecin et du fabricant de votre pacemaker.
Laissez le produit refroidir avant de le plier et de le
stocker dans un endroit sec. Ne placez pas d'objets lourds
sur le produit pour éviter le flambage.
Ne convient pas à un enfant de 0 à 3 ans! A ces âges
les enfants sont incapables de réagir à la surchauffe.
Les appareils électroniques doivent être éliminés en
conformité avec les prescriptions locales, séparément
des ordures ménagères.
1. Utilisation d'un Microlife coussin chauffant
AVERTISSEMENT: N'utilisez jamais le coussin chauf-
fant sans la housse de tissu.
Veillez à ce que de l'air puisse circuler entre le coussin
chauffant et la peau pendant le fonctionnement.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé pour réchauffer les
animaux.
1. Posez la housse en tissu 1 sur une surface plane. Ouvrez
le bouton pression.
2. Introduisez le coussin 3 complètement dans la housse en
ajustant un côté après l'autre. Assurez-vous que le câble et
la commande manuelle 2 restent en dehors de la housse.
3. Le coussin remplit toute la housse à plat. Fermez le bouton
pression.
4. Branchez le produit sur une
prise secteur
220-240
volts et
réglez le curseur de la commande
à la température souhaitée.
Déplacez le curseur de réglage de la température – cette
opération allume le coussin. Le témoin de mise sous
tension et de fonctionnement s'allumera.
Réglage 1 recommandé pour une utilisation continue.
Pour mettre le coussin hors tension, réglez le curseur sur
«0». Le témoin s'éteindra.
5. La commande manuelle du coussin coupe le chauffage
au bout de 90 minutes environ, puis l'indicateur lumineux
clignotera jusqu au reset ou à l'extinction du coussin. Pour
réinitialiser la minuterie et redémarrer une session de chauf-
fage, placez le curseur sur «0» puis remettez-le à la position
de température souhaitée.
6. Débranchez à la fin de la session.
2. Instructions de nettoyage
AVERTISSEMENT: Débranchez toujours le câble
d'alimentation de la prise de courant avant de procéder
au nettoyage du produit.
1. Après avoir été retirée du coussin, la housse est lavable en
machine selon les instructions qui figurent dessus.
2. Le coussin ne doit pas être lavé à la machine ou nettoyé à sec!
Le FH 80 et FH 100 (surface PVC) peuvent être nettoyés
avec un chiffon doux et humide. Les FH 200, FH 200C, FH 300,
FH 310 et FH 320 (surface en velours et coton) peuvent être
nettoyés avec une brosse (état sec).
3. Évitez que la commande manuelle ne devienne humide.
N'utilisez pas de détergents ou de solvants. Ils pourraient
endommager le produit.
4. Ne placez en aucun cas la commande manuelle sous l'eau.
Elle pourrait devenir humide et s'abîmer.
5. Vérifiez l'état de la commande manuelle. Séchez bien le
coussin et sa housse avant une remise sous tension.
Le nettoyage et maintenance ne doivent pas être
réalisés par des enfants sans surveillance.
