Your sandwich toaster should be used in such a way that it is protected from moisture.
e.g. condensation, splashed water etc. Do not place or store your sandwich toaster
where it can fall or be pulled into water or any other liquid. Do not reach for the
appliance if it has fallen in any water or any other liquid. Unplug immediately.
Stand your sandwich toaster on a stable, level surface during use. Do not allow
your sandwich toaster to sit on top of the mains lead.
Make sure that children cannot touch the sandwich toaster when hot or pull the
mains lead.
It is DANGEROUS to insert ngers or objects other than bread into the sandwich
toaster.
Do not allow young children to play with your sandwich toaster.
Bread may burn. Your sandwich toaster must not be used near or below curtains
or other combustible materials. It must be watched when in use. Do not leave your
sandwich toaster unattended. Your sandwich toaster should be placed away from
heat sources such as radiators, gas/electric res and direct sunlight.
Keep the power cord away from any heated surfaces.
Use the appliance only for its intended use, as described in this manual.
Do not use outdoors.
Never use your sandwich toaster if it is damaged in any way. Do not remove any xed
covers. Never use this appliance if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped
or damaged.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person

Get to know your sandwich toaster
Before use
Please read these instructions and have a good look at the illustrations before using your
sandwich toaster.
Open up your sandwich toaster
by releasing the handle clip and
lifting up the top half of the appliance.
Clean the surface of the cooking plates with a damp cloth
and wipe dry.
Using your sandwich toaster for the rst time
Always watch your sandwich toaster when in use.
Recipes for sandwich llings
Never use raw meat as sandwich llings. Do not reheat sandwich that have a meat lling.

Make sure the bread covers the .cooking plates

The temperature indicator light
will burn on and o whilst the
built-in thermostat maintains
the cooking temperature.
Tip: The power indicator light
will be on continuely during
working. It will be o only if
you remove the plug from
the mains socket.
Never use a metal object
to remove your toasted
sandwich as it may
damage the cooking
plates.
Your sandwich should be ready in approximately 3-4 minutes.
When the temperature indicator light come o, open up the
sandwich toaster with caution as it will be hot. Open up the

Smear a layer of butter,
margarine or cooking fat
over the plates.
Turn the power on at the mains
socket. The power and
temperature Indicator light
will turn on.
Connect the plug to the
mains and switch on.
Place your bread onto the lower
half of the cooking plates with
the buttered side facing down.
Adding lling to the surface of
the bread and then place
another slice of bread on top,
buttered side facing up.
Gently squeeze the handles
together and close the handle
clip.
Add lling of your choice or
choose from the suggestions
that are mentioned opposite.
Place another two slices of
bread on top of your lling
(butter side up). Your
sandwich is now ready to
cook.
Enjoy your sandwich!
The two indicators lights will
come on until the sandwich
toaster reaches the cooking
temperature.
When the temperature indicator
light goes o, open up your
sandwich toaster by releasing
the handle clip and lifting up
the top half of the appliance.
When the temperature indicator
light turns o during heating up,
then turn o the power at the mains.
Gently squeeze the handles
together and close the
handle clip.
Connect the plug to a
mains socket.
Sweet sandwiches are very easy to prepare. White bread is
recommended. Try apple pie lling, sultana and cinnamon.
Cooking Hints:
Prepare the next sandwich whilst one is cooking.
When the temperature indicator light turns on, it is the best time to cook the next
sandwich. Always close the cooking plates to preserve the heat for the next sandwich.

mains socket.
Cleaning your Sandwich Toaster
Do not use harsh cleaners, solvents or scouring pads as they may damage the casing.
Remove the plug from the
mains socket.
Clean the surface of the
cooking plates with a damp
cloth and wipe dry. Make sure
you do not allow water to seep
into the controls or heating
elements.
NOTE: Do not remove the cooking plates.
Wait until the sandwich toaster
has cooled down, then wrap
the cord around the cord wrap
at the bottom of the sandwich
toaster for storage.
