NTRODUCTION The Linn DIRAK Power Supply when used with the LK1 pre-amplifier or
AKTIV ISOBARIK CROSSOVER enhances amplifier performance and therefore your enjoyment
of the music from your hi-.
The DIRAK increases the isolation of the LK1 and AKTIV from the mains supply. It uses a high frequency
filter on the incoming mains, a large transformer, very large reservoir capacitance and output voltage
regulators. This is all contained in the DIRAK case thus preventing any electromagnetic interference from
the power supply reaching the audio circuitry of the LK1 or AKTIV. With the DIRAK, the 1K1 or AKTIV will
even tolerate short complete interruptions of the mains supply with no audible effect.
Like all electronic products the DIRAK will perform at its best when used with the highest quality source.
The better the performance from your turntable, tuner or CD player the better the sound you will hear from
the other components in the system.
