Introduction to the Product

This machine uses 3*AA batteries or BL-5C lithium batteries:

1, When using AA batteries, please use alkaline 1.5V batteries; please do

not use 1.2V rechargeable batteries. This device requires more than 3.3V

(1.1V three batteries). When using 1.2V rechargeable batteries, the power

symbol will only show 2 bars of electricity, and soon after it drops to 1.1V,

the radio will not work properly.

2, When using a BL-5C battery, please pay attention to the orientation.If

the battery is loose, place a piece of paper, foam, double-sided tape, etc. at

the back. Batteries from different manufacturers may vary in size and if too

large may not ﬁt, or of too small may not make reliable contact and cause

the radio to power off unexpectedly. Please pay attention to the battery ﬁt.

3, This device has a memory function, used to save search and saved

stations, favorite stations, last listened radio programs, etc. in the memory.

However, when the battery is removed, memory will be lost after 3

seconds, so when changing the battery, try to do it within 3 seconds.

4, Use only DC 5V chargers with this machine, and avoid using cell phone

fast charging devices that may provide 9V or 12V. After charging is

ﬁnished, please disconnect the charging cable to prevent overcharging

and reduction of battery life.

Warning

Please do not use inferior batteries; the power requirements of

this device are high, and the maximum output power of the speaker is

3W. It requires a higher current power supply. When an inferior battery

can not rovide the required power, the radio will shut down prematurely,

the screen will ﬂicker, the sound will freeze, etc. When there is only one

bar left in the battery indicator, or when using a low-quality battery,if the

sound is turned up to the maximum, it will shut down in advance. If you

reinsert the battery, you will ﬁnd that the battery still has 1 bar of power,

or even 2 bars of power. In this case, the quality of the battery is not good

enough; the voltage shows that there is still power, but the battery

cannot provide sufﬁcient power for the radio. Please turn down the

volume or use headphones. It can still be used for a while. This is a great

way to save electricity.

Turn on the radio:

1, Press POWER key twice, once to show the clock (wake the radio up from

hibernation), press it again to turn on the radio.

2, Sleep countdown - power on

In the clock state, long press the key for 2 seconds to start the sleep POWER

function, the sleep symbol ﬂashes on the screen and displays 90 (90

minutes), press the POWER key again to display 80, 70...10 in sequence,

then select the desired time, Wait for two seconds for the radio will

automatically turn on. The screen shows the hibernation symbol. After the

sleep time countdown is complete, the radio will automatically shut down.

Turn off the radio:

In the power on state, press the POWER key for 2 seconds. At this time,the

screen displays the clock, indicating that the power has been turned off; 10

seconds later, the clock display goes off and enters the hibernation state.

The clock is still running.

TIME.SET key:

Can only be set in the time state (off state), the clock cannot be set after power on.

Long Press key for 2 seconds to start setting time, enter hour, then TIME.SET

press key, enter minute, press key again, setting is ﬁnished. TIME.SET TIME.SET

This machine only supports 24 small time system.

Alarm clock key: Long press for 2 seconds to turn on or off the alarm clock.

minutes... After 5 cycles, a total of 40 minutes, the alarm will be automatically

turned off, During this period, you can press the key to manually turn off ALARM

key again to Turn off the alarm clock, the alarm clock symbol disappears.

2, RADO Select , which means turn on the radio (the last frequency you listened

to). Press again,the or, " will appear.AL.SET “FULL 10,20... 80,90

FULL 10 means start the radio. means: radio sound on for 10 minutes, ... ...... If we

select , press again and the setting is complete. When the alarm is on, 10 AL.SET

Set Time & Alarm

Enter the MODE

1, MODE TF MODE Press key to start playing card, then press key again to enter

the Bluetooth (BT) mode, The " symbol starts to ﬂash, indicating that it is "BT

waiting for pairing. The device name is: RD-239. Turn on the phone and select

RD-239 for pairing. After the connection is successful, the symbol will no "BT"

longer ﬂash. At this time, you can use the mobile phone to play music and answer

incoming calls. You can use the up and down keys to select songs, and you can

use the key.pause/play

2, In any mode, insert a TF card, it will enter the TF card playback mode, and the

"TF" symbol will light up. We can press the loop key to display all loops, single

loops, and random playback in turn.

3,The TF card is not inserted or the TF card is damaged. The screen will display

ERR, indicating that the TF cannot be read. If there is no TF card, the recording

function cannot be started. Because the recording ﬁles need to be placed in the

TF card.

LOOP KEY LOOP： By pressing key, we can select, All Loop, Single Loop,

Random Play, three modes.

If the TF card is not inserted or the TF card is damaged, the recording function

will not start. Because the recording ﬁles need to be placed in the TF card.

Recording Radio:

In mode, long press key for 2 seconds, start recording radio. the RADIO REC REC

symbol starts ﬂashing, press key, pause recording, pick up key again, REC REC

resume recording, to end recording, you need to long press key for 2 REC

seconds.The recorded ﬁles will be saved according to the serial number starting

from FM001, and saved in the recording folder in the TF card. If the TF card is not

inserted, or the TF card is damaged, the recording function will not start.

Recording external sound MIC)(

In TF card playback mode, Long press key for 2 seconds to start REC MIC

recording, long press key again for 2 seconds to end recording.The REC REC

symbol will ﬂash during recording, and we can short press the key to pause REC

and resume recording. Recording ﬁles will be saved with serial numbers starting

from MIC001. Save in the recording folder.

Recording playback function:

In TF card playback mode, long press key for 2 seconds to enter the REC FILE

recording folder, at this time you can play the recording ﬁle, press the previous

song or the next song to select the recording ﬁle, press key to play or pause SCAN

the playback of the recording ﬁle. Long Press key again to exit the REC FILE

recording folder.

Delete the recording ﬁle:

In the AIR band, Long press SET key 2 seconds, the "ON" or "OFF" 3,SET SQ:

symbol will appear. Press the SET key again and select "ON" or "OFF" to turn on

and off the SQ function,and will automatically exit and take effect after 3 seconds.

SQ: Adjust the squelch: When the radio does not receive a signal or the signal

is weak, in order to avoid output noise, it will automatically cut off the output

signal. This function is called squelch.

4,SET keyboard backlight time: Before turning on the computer (when the clock

is displayed), Long press the SET key until “BL 5 “appear. Press the SET key

again. We can choose 5 seconds, 10, 15, or 20 seconds as the backlight time.

Listen to radio programs

Simple operation:

After powering on, press the key to select different bands(FM-VHF-AM-BAND

SW-AIR-WB), then long press key for 2 seconds, to search for stations SCAN

automatically.The searched radio stations are stored in the memory in order of

CH01, CH02.... .The radio can save up to 99stations for each band (except

WB).Press the or key to select previous or next station, or turn the ∧ ∨TUNING

knob to search for stations manually. Press or to adjust the sound level. V+ V-

Press to enter card playback, and press again to enter MODE TF MODE

Bluetooth playback.Press BAND to return to radio operation.

SCAN key:

In RADIO mode: Press the key for 2 seconds to start an automatic SCAN(>|)

scan of the currently selected band. A short press mutes the radio, pauses

Music playing or pauses Bluetooth. Press it again to resume.

Lock key:

Press the key the lock symbol on the screen will begin ﬂashing,indicating that LOCK ;

the TUNING knob and arrow keys are locked; press the key again and the LOCK

symbol disappears indicating normal operation.Long press for 2 seconds; the LOCK

resulting solid symbol indicates that all operations are locked. Long press the LOCK

key again to resume normal operation.

CH key:

Press the key and the screen will display "CH - -" in the upper left corner. Enter a CH

number, 1 or 2 digits, then press to conﬁrm. The station at position CH 05 ENTER

starts playing. If there is no station saved at CH 05, "CH- -" will be displayed.

FREQ .key

Press the key to display then enter the frequency, such as 9050, and FREQ "- - - -",

press key to conﬁrm, and start playing 90.50MHz.When 5 digits are entered ENTER

on the shortwave band, it is not necessary to press .ENTER

QUICK PRESET function:

There are 9 keys When playing a radio station (e.g., 90.5MHz), long QUICK PRESET .

press number key "5" (or any other digit) for 2 seconds; the screen will show L5, which

means 90.5MHz is saved on quick preset "5".Simply press the number key to listen to

the station again. You can overwrite the preset by long pressing the digit when tuned

to a new frequency.

PRESET mode:

Press the key to enter the mode, and it will exit MEMORY PRESET

automatically after 10 seconds if there is no operation. In mode, the PRESET

TUNING knob will only advance through the saved stations. only in PRESET

mode we can delete the station (long press the key to delete the saved DEL

station). We can also press the key again to exit the mode.MEMORY PRESET

Station rotation function.

Long press the key in PRESET mode to start rotating through the saved SCAN

radio stations; the loop symbol will start ﬂashing. ,Each station will play for 5

seconds, then the next station will be played. Press the key again to exit SCAN

station rotation.

To save a station manually:

Long Press the key to start saving the station, then the MEMORY PRESET

symbol ﬂashes; select the save location (Input by up and down keys or scroll

wheel), press again, and the station is saved.MEMORY

To delete a radio station:

Press key to enter mode and ﬁnd the radio station to be MEMORY PRESET

deleted. Then press and hold the DEL key to hear a "drop" and the station

currently playing is deleted from memory.

STEP key.

The key is used in conjunction with the key. Turn the STEP TUNING TUNING

wheel and the number on the rightmost side of the frequency display will start

to change and ﬂash, then press key, the ﬂashing number will change one STEP

to the left turning the tuning knob will then change that ﬂashing digit. ;

Repeatedly pressing the key will select digits to the left to increment or STEP

decrement with the knob.This method provides great ﬂexibility to TUNING

accommodate different channel spacing.

Trouble Shooting

Radio signals are not clear or received radio stations are few :

1 , Buildings of concrete structure , ﬂuorescent lamp and electromagnetic wave

interfere with radio signals.

2 , Try to use manual tuning in the place where signals are weak.

3 , While listening to AM broadcasting , to ensure broadcasting effect , place

the device forward and make it be perpendicular to the ground , and AM

antenna needs to keep parallel to the ground.

Failure to switch on :

When charge level in the batteries is not sufﬁcient or elastic piece for the

battery is rusted due to ﬂuid leakage , change the batteries or Clean away the

rust on the elastic place in time.

The radio turns itself off during use:

Generally, the battery power supply is insufﬁcient, resulting in a natural

shutdown, please replace the battery. You can also re-insert the battery, check

the battery power, if there is still 1 cell of electricity or 2 cells of electricity, you

can turn down the volume of the radio, or use headphones to listen to the radio,

The TYPE-C interface cannot connect to the computer：

1, Check the TYPE-C data cable ﬁrst, please use the original data cable

charging cable.

2, When the TF card cannot be read and written, please replace the computer.

This machine only supports Windows system computers. Other devices may

not be able to read and write the TF card in the radio, you need to take out the

TF card, please use other settings to read and write the TF card.

Antenna-How to use:

the alarm symbol will ﬂash, the last station listened to will be played and the radio

will turn off automatically after 10 minutes. We can press again to exit the ALARM
