READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.

When using a steamer, basic precautions should always be followed, including the

following:

• This appliance is intended for household

use only.

• This appliance can be used by

children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a

safe way and understand the hazards

involved.

• Children shall not play with the

appliance. Keep the appliance out of

reach of children when it is energized or

cooling down.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not

be made by children without supervision.

• The instructions shall state that the

liquid or steam must not be directed

towards equipment containing electrical

components, such as the interior of

ovens.

• The appliance shall not be left

unattended while it is connected to the

supply mains.

• The instructions shall state that the

appliance has to be unplugged after

use and before carrying out user

maintenance on the appliance.

• The appliance is not to be used if it has

been dropped, if there are visible signs

of damage or if it is leaking.

CAUTION

Children should be

supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended

while plugged in or while still hot.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by a special cord or assembly

available from the manufacturer or its

service agent.

• Do not try to repair the appliance

by yourself. Contact exclusively an

authorized Laurastar Customer service

representative for information on repair.

• You may use an extension lead and

accept liability for doing so. Only use

an extension lead which is in good

condition, has a plug with an earth

connection and is suited to the power

rating of the appliance. Refer to the

technical information on page 13 of this

manual.

• Your Laurastar hygienic steamer has

been designed for sanitizing and

disinfecting the following sealed

surfaces: bathroom surfaces, kitchen

surfaces, stainless steel, tiles.

• The device should not be used to

disinfect electrical appliances such as

ovens, extraction fans, microwaves,

televisions, lamps, hair dryers, electrical

heating systems, etc.
