FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figuras 1 y 2)
1. Cuidadosamente retire el Ventilador de la bolsa plástica
y la caja.
2. Coloque el ventilador sobre una superficie firme y
nivelada.
Los tacos de plástico o hule, tales como las patas de esta
unidad, pueden pegarse a la superficie de los muebles.
La unidad podría dejar un residuo capaz de oscurecer,
manchar o dejar marcas permanentes en el acabado de
ciertas superficies de muebles, incluyendo superficies y
pisos de madera.
3. Conecte el cable eléctrico a un tomacorriente de 120
voltios.
Asegúrese que el enchufe encaje firmemente en el
tomacorriente.
Cuando los enchufes quedan flojos en los
tomacorrientes, pueden deslizarse parcial
o completamente fuera del tomacorriente
con un leve movimiento del cable adosado.

4. Encienda el Ventilador oprimiendo el Botón De Encendido
( ). Botón De Encendido se iluminará cuando el equipo
haya sido encendido.
5. Al encender el Ventilador, el equipo estará funcionando
en ALTO.
6. Si oprime el por segunda vez, el Botón De Encendido
Ventilador quedará en MEDIANO.
7. Si oprime el por tercera vez, el Botón De Encendido
Ventilador quedará en BAJO.
8. Para APAGAR el Ventilador, oprima el Botón de Encendido/
Apagado ( ). La luz de encendido se apagará una vez
que el equipo esté apagado.
9. Después de apagar el Ventilador, desconecte la unidad
del tomacorriente eléctrico.

Oscilación
FUNCIÓN DE OSCILACIÓN: Esta función podrá ser activada
con cualquier velocidad del Ventilador. Si oprime el Botón De
Oscilación ( ), permitirá que el Ventilador oscile en ambas
direcciones. Para detener la oscilación, oprima el Botón De
Oscilación una vez más. Botón De Oscilación se iluminará
cuando esta función se encuentre activada.
INSTRUCCIONES MULTIDIRECCIONALES
(Figura 2)
La mitad superior del Ventilador puede orientarse en una dirección
diferente a la de la mitad inferior del mismo. La función de
oscilación podrá activarse con el ventilador enfrentando cualquier
dirección.
1. Sostenga la y la en forma Base Parte Inferior De Ventilador
estacionaria.
2. Tome la Parte Superior De Ventilador y gírela a la posición que
desee.
ADVERTENCIA: NO INTENTE HACER GIRAR EL VENTILADOR

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the
outlet and create a poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard. Outlets in this
condition should be replaced by a qualified electrician.
ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole
means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and
unplug the Fan when not in use.
BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Fan is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Fan into 240V or other power source.
The on your Lasko fan is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be removed Plug
or tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, attempt to remove, replace, repair or DO NOT
tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Fan has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incorporated
in this plug. THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet
only one way. Match the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety
feature. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.
• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected device, as these
devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.

locations. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical

FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This

OPERATION (Figures 1 and 2)
1. Carefully remove the Fan from the plastic bag and the
carton.
2. Place the Fan on a firm and level surface.
Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick
to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may
leave a res i due that could dark en, stain or leave per ma nent
blem ish es on the finish of cer tain furniture surfaces, includ-
ing wood surfaces, and/or hard wood floors.
3. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.
Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.
When plugs fit loose ly into re cep ta cles, they
may slip partially or com plete ly out of the re-
ceptacle with only the slight move ment of the
attached cord. Re cep ta cles in this con di tion
may over heat and pose a serious fire haz ard; if
cov ered by a cur tain or drape, the fire haz ard
is even great er.
4. Turn the Fan ON by pressing the (Power Button ). The
Power Button will light when the unit is turned on.
5. Upon turning the Fan ON, the unit will be on HIGH.
6. Pressing the a sec ond time will set the Power Button
Fan to ME DI UM.
7. Pressing the Power Button a third time will set the Fan
to LOW.
8. To turn the Fan OFF, press the (Power Button ). The
pow er light will go out when the unit is off.
9. After turning the Fan off, unplug the unit from the
elec tri cal outlet.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
(Figure 2)
The top half of the Fan can be manually turned a different
direction than the bottom half of the Fan. The oscillation
func tion will work with the top half of the fan fac ing any
direction.

2. Grasp the Top Fan and turn it to the desired position.
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TURN THE FAN BE-
YOND THE POINT OF RESISTANCE. THIS WILL DAMAGE
THE FAN.
OSCILLATION FUNCTION: This function will work in any
Fan speed. Press ing the ( )will al low Oscillation Button
the Fan to os cil late back and forth. To stop the os cil la tion,
press the Os cil la tion But ton Oscillation once more. The
Button will light when this func tion is in use.
