Get Started
1. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into thenew
W186-D outdoor sensor. Observe the correct polarity. The
red LED will flash during transmission.
2. Insert the 3 AA Alkaline batteries (not included) intonew
the clock. Observe the correct polarity.
3. After 5 minutes place sensor outside in a shaded location.
Set Language, Calendar, Time, Weather Forecast Icon
1. Hold the button to enter time set mode.SET
2. Press the + or -buttons to adjust the values.
3. Press the button to confirm adjustments and move toSET
the next item.
Setting order:
1. Language ( English, German, French, Dutch,)EN GE FR DU
SP Spanish,) .
2. Year
3. Month
4. Date
5. Hour
6. Minutes
7. 12/24 hour time
8. Weather Forecast Icon
9. Daylight Saving Time Indicator
Note: The day of the week sets automatically, as the year,
month and date are set.
Press the SET button to exit, or wait 60 seconds without
pressing buttons to return to the normal time display.
Time Zone
Press the button to select one of four time zones:ZONE
•ES = Eastern
•CS = Central
•MS = Mountain
•PS = Pacific
Note: The time zone letters will flash in the weekday display.
The hours will change as you change time zones.

Celsius/Fahrenheit
Clock: Hold the °C/°F button to switch from Fahrenheit
to Celsius temperature display.
Outdoor Sensor: Remove the battery cover then press
and release the °C/°F button on the transmitter to
select Fahrenheit or Celsius shown on the transmitter.
Set Time Alarm
1. Hold the AL button to enter alarm set mode.
The letters “AL” will replace the weekday.
2. Press the + or -buttons to adjust the values.
3. Press the confirm AL button to & move to the next item.
Alarm Time setting order: 1. Hours, 2. Minutes
Activate/Deactivate Time Alarm
•Press the AL button once to view alarm time.
•Press the + or -buttons to activate the alarm.
Once activated icon appears., the alarm
•Press the + or - buttons again to deactivate the
alarm. disappear.The alarm icon will
Snooze (Silences Alarm Temporarily)
•When alarm sounds, press the ZZ button to silence the
alarm for 5 minutes.
•The alarm icon will flash.
•In snooze mode, press the AL to stop the alarm fobutton r
one day.
Note: The alarm is crescendo sound. The alarm sounds for
Two minutes and then shut off completely.

Hold the +button to start or stop a manual signal search. WWVB
