Precautions
Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.

Be sure to turn the power switch to OFF when the unit is not in use.

Makesuretoturnthepowerobeforeyou
installorreplacethebaery.
When it is time to replace the baery, the
string number LED will blink. In this case,
replace the baery as soon as possible.

Attaching to the instrument
A magnet is embedded in the tab on the movable
ring of the Magnetune. Use the magnet to aach the
Magnetune to the strap buon or metal tuning peg
enclosure. In addition, rotate the movable ring so
that the face is easier for you to read.

Tuning
1. Pressthe powerbuon.The powerwill turn on/o
eachtimeyoupressthisbuon.
When the Magnetune is on and no sound is produced,
the boom pitch guide LED will light up.
Ifthepowerisleonforapproximately3minuteswithout
anyuserinput,itwillturnoautomatically.

Roughly tune the instrument until the LED for the string
being played light up.

Magnetischer Bereich
Der Magnetune ist klein und leit, sodass Kleinkinder
ihn in den Mund steen könnten. Um ihn von Klein-
kindern fernzuhalten, kann der Magnetune mit einer
Snur durseine Anbindeöse an der Gitarre befestigt
werden.
Einsetzen der Batterie
Salten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie die Baerie einle-
gen oder ausweseln.
Wenn die Batterie erneuert werden muss, blinkt die
Saitennummer-LED. In solem Fall die Baerie so bald
wie mögli austausen.

Anbringen am Instrument
Dem Vorsprung am Drehring des Magnetunes ist
ein Magnet einverleibt. Der Magnetune kann damit
magnetisam Gurtknopf oder an Metalloberä-
en der Stimmmeanik befestigt werden. Über
den Drehring kann die Ausritung des Geräts
angepasst werden.

Bringen Sie den magnetischen Bereich des Magnetune
nicht in die Nähe von Uhren, Festplaen, Magnetkarten
od er anderen G eräten, die von Magnetfeld ern
beschädigt werden könnten.
Batteriefachdeckel
Bie befestigen sie das Magnetune vorsitig an ihrem
Instrument. Wenn sie das Magnetune für längere Zeit
an ihrem Instrument befestigt lassen, kann dies zu Ver-
änderungen an der Oberäe des Instruments führen.
Dur Berührung mit dem Magneten könnte je na
dessen Alter und Zustand die Oberäe des Instru-
ments besädigt werden.

bleibt, oh ne dass Ton angelegt wird, schaltet es
automatisaus.

Die obere LED ( ) blinkt, wenn der Ton zu ho ist,
und die untere LED ( ) leutet blinkt, wenn der Ton
zu tief ist.
Au wenn die Tonhöhe innerhalb des Erkennungs-
bereichs ist, kann es unmöglich sein, die Tonhöhe
eines Instrumentenklangs zu erkennen, wenn dieser
einen hohen Anteil an Obertönen oder sehr snelles
Abklingen aufweist.
Das Stimmgerät kann auf Swingungen aus der Um-
gebung reagieren. Dies beeinträtigt allerdings nit
den Stimmvorgang des Instruments.

Mise en place de la pile
 Coupeztoujoursl’alimentationavantdechangerlapile.
Quand la pile est épuisée et doit être remplacée, la diode
de numéro de corde clignote. Remplacez alors la pile sans
tarder.

verslehautpourl’ouvrir.
2. Remplacezlapileenveillantàrespecterlapolarité:la
face“+”delapiledoitêtrevisible.
3. Remeezenplacelecouvercledelapile.
Montage sur l’instrument
Le Magnetune comporte un aimant (d’où “Magne-
tune”) logé dans l’onglet de son anneau rotatif.
Utilisez cet aimant pour xer le Magnetune sur un
bouton de sangle ou le boîtier métallique d’une
cheville. Vous pouvez en outre tourner l’anneau
rotatif pour obtenir une lisibilité optimale.

cartesmagnétiquesoutoutautreobjetsensibleauxchamps
magnétiques.

rayerlasurfacedevotreinstrument.
 Notezquesuivantlanitionetl’âgedevotreinstrument,son

1. Appuyezsurl’interrupteurd’alimentation.L’appareil
se mera sous/ hors tension à chaque pression sur
l’interrupteur.
Quand le Magnetune est sous tension et qu’aucun son
n’est produit, la diode d’indication de hauteur inférieure
est allumée.
Sivouslaissezl’appareilallumépendantenviron3minutes
sanscapteraucunson,ils’éteindraautomatiquement.
2. Jouezunenotesurlacordeàaccorderdevotreinstru-
ment.Ladiodedenumérodecordelaplusprochede
lahauteurdétectées’allumealors.
Accordez (réglage approximatif) la corde jusqu’à ce que
la diode de la corde jouée s’allume.

1 (Mi), 2 (Si), 3 (Sol), 4 (Ré), 5 (La), 6 (Mi)
3. Jouezunenotesurlacordeàaccorderdevotreinstru-
ment etréglez l’accord (réglage n) de sorte que les
deuxdiodesd’indicationdehauteurs’allument.
La diode supérieure ( ) d’indication de hauteur clignote
si la note est trop haute et la diode inférieure ( ) d’in-
dication de hauteur clignote si la note est trop basse.
