INTRODUCTION
Installing the IMC Teddy Utility Sink & Can Washer is a straightforward procedure that can be accomplished
with normal construction materials and techniques. Installation procedures may vary due to eld conditions
and state regulations. Please note that the following instructions are recommendations only. The installer is
responsible for proper setting and making sure the appropriate codes are followed. Please contact the IMC
Teddy Engineering Department (800-221-5644) prior to considering retrot installations.
Please read the attached information carefully, as much of the information provided is reecting proven
installation techniques used in previous installations.

All drainage methods are subject to
plumbers/installers discretion.
• DL20-1 Utensil/Can Washer and
Sanitizer
• Workboard Faucet, Deck Mount, 8”
Centers, 8” Swing Nozzle w/ Angled
Spray Valve with Brush
• Double Pedal Valve, Inlets 2 ½”
Centers, NPT Inlets & Outlet½”

Tools/Materials Needed
• Standard Adjustable Wrench • Teon Tape
• Flex Hoses
• ½” NPT Brass Pipe Adapters
Faucet Plumbing
Note: All plumbing connections of our
equipment are subject to plumbers/
installers discretion.
Make all necessary plumbing
connections to faucet and waste
drain. Unit has open back for
access to plumbing.

Foot Pedal Connections
1. Outt the foot pedal knee
valve with (2) ½” brass pipe NPT
adapters (1 on the hot inlet, 1 on
the cold inlet). Use a wrench to
tighten the adapters securely to
the foot pedal.
2. Ready your ex hoses. There
should be (2) ex hoses: Hot
Water Line Inlet & Cold Water
Line Inlet. Attach the (2) ex
hoses to the knee valve. Use a
wrench to tighten.
3. Run the cold water ex hose to
your incoming cold water supply
and attach it. Use a wrench to
tighten.
4. Run the hot water ex hose to
your incoming hot water supply
and attach it. Use a wrench to
tighten.

6. Test out the foot pedals to see
if they are operating correctly.
Check for any leaks.
5. Apply teon tape to threads of
supply lines for a secure t.
