Self-Clean Function
The Self-Clean function helps maintain the performance and cleanliness of your iron's
soleplate. It is recommended to use this feature approximately every six months,
depending on usage.
How to Use the Self-Clean Function:
1. Fill the water tank and plug in the iron.
2. Set the temperature control to MAX and allow the iron to fully heat up.
3. Once the iron reaches the maximum temperature, switch to Self-Clean
function for approximately 1 minute.
4. Unplug the iron to allow the remaining water in the soleplate to evaporate
and dry.

Before First Use
1. Remove the protective cover from the soleplate.
2. Set the iron to maximum temperature and iron a piece of damp cloth for
several minutes. This process helps remove any manufacturing residue
from the soleplate.
Note: It is normal for the iron to emit a slight odor during initial use. This will dissipate
after a few uses.
Using as a Dry Iron
1. Plug the iron into a convenience outlet.
2. Set the thermostat control knob to the desired temperature (refer to the
fabric temperature guide).
3. Allow the iron to heat for two minutes while in the heel rest position.
4. The power indicator light will turn ON when the iron is heating.
a. It will turn OFF once the selected temperature is reached.
b. The light will stay o while the temperature is maintained, and will turn
back ON when the thermostat activates to reheat.
5. Always iron synthetic fabrics first at low temperatures. As the temperature
increases, move on to wool, cotton, and finally linen.
Note: The iron heats faster than it cool, so plan the ironing order
accordingly.
6. Allow sufcient time for the iron to reheat when switching from a low to high
temperature setting.
