Operating Instruction:

1) Insert t he AC pow er supply cord into mai ns.

2) For Charging: Swi tch t he fun ction swi tch on t he uni t to the "charge"

position.

The individual red LED will light u p when batt eries are inserted in to the

corresponding slot to indicate chargi ng is in progr ess.

3) For Testing: Swi tch th e function swit ch on the uni t to the " test"

position.

The re d LED in the ﬁ rst slot (closest t o the funct ion switch) wi ll tur n off.

Insert t he bat ter y to be tested i nto th e ﬁ rst slot. The batt ery t est lamp

will l ight up to indicate the strength of the battery (very dark /no light for

no power, very bright f or lot s of power). Othe rwise the LED will not light

up. Batteries i n other slot s will conti nue to be charged.

4) For Discharging: Switch the function switch on the unit the "discharge"

position. (Please not e that t his charger can not discharge 9V batteries)

will g o off to ind icat e bat teries are in discharge mod e.

5) Please note that this is not an automatic charger. The charger does not

swit ch to charge mode automaticall y after discharge. To check if the

bat teries are fu lly discharged, use the "test " feat ure.

This char ger cannot be used with n on-recharg eable bat teries.

Ni-Cd batteries.

It can be used wit h a combinat ion of 1-4 pc s of cells of t he fol lowi ng type:

Micro AAA, Mignon AA, Baby C, Mono D. It can also be used to charge 1-2

pcs of Block 9V bat teries.

A) Slide the SWITCH to charging position

B) Batteries must be inserted properly for good cont act and correct (+)

and (-) polari ty direction

C) Insert plu g into wall outlet

D) "RED LED charging light " goes on to indicate pr oper chargi ng

E) Do not overcharge your bat ter ies beyond chargi ng periods

TESTI NG YOUR BATT ERIES:

A) Only this slot close t o SWITCH can test batt ery and on ly also test 12 V

batteri es (AAA, AA, C or D cells) higher volt age batteri es will burn out

tester bulb.

B) Tester only operates when SWITCH in test position

C) REMEMBER: You ﬁ rst deter mine if a battery is rechargeable by testing

it. If the "Test indi cat or" g lows weakly, the batter y can be charged.

D) When charging period is compl eted and if the batt ery indicator does not

light brightly, the "Test indicator " discard it.

DISCHARGING YOUR BATTERIES by Slide SWITCH to discharge

position.

NOTE: Discharging is to elimi nate N-Cd battery memory Ni-MH battery

need not di scharge.

RED LED does not li ght duri ng discharging. Judge if bat ter y is discharged

completely by testing it.

Warning: disconnect the supply before making or breaking connections

to the battery: if supp ly cord is damaged it must be replace d by the

manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualiﬁ ed person in order to

avoid a hazard:

"Do not charge non-rechargeable bat ter ies"

Bedienungsanleit ung:

1) Stecken Sie das Netzkabel in die Net zst eckdose.

2) Zum Auﬂ aden: Schalten Sie den Fun ktionsschalter am Gerät in die

Position " Charg e" (Auﬂ ad en).

Die individuelle rote LED leuchtet auf, wenn Batterien in den entsprechenden

Steckplatz eingelegt sind, womit angezeigt wird, dass aufgeladen wird.

3) Zum Testen: Schalten Sie den Funkt ionsschalt er am Ger ät in di e

Position "Test" (Testen).

Die rote LED im ersten Steckpla tz (dem Funkt ionsschalter am

nächsten) geht aus. Stecken Sie die zu testende Bat teri e in den ersten

Steckpl atz. Die Batter ietestlampe l euchtet auf, womit Ihnen d ie Stärke

der Batterie an gezei gt wir d (sehr dunkel /kein Licht für kei ne Ener gie,

sehr hell für viel Energ ie). Sonst leu chtet die LED nicht auf. Batterien in

anderen Steckplätzen werden weiter geladen.

4) Zum Ent la de n: Sc hal ten S ie d en Fun k ti ons sc ha lte r am G erä t in di e Pos it ion

"Di scharge" (Entladen). (Beachten Sie bit te, dass dieses Ladegr ät keine

9 V-Batter ien e ntla den kann. Al le roten LEDs (mi t Ausnahme

derjenigen fü r die 9 V-Bat terie n) gehe n aus, womit Ih nen angezeigt

wird, dass die Ba tterien entladen werden.

5) Beachten Sie bitte, dass das kein automatisches Ladegerät ist. Das

Ladegerät schaltet nach dem Entladen nicht automatisch in den

Lademodus um . Um zu übe rpr üfen, ob die Batterie n voll geladen sind,

benutzen Sie di e "Test"-Funktion.
