Using the On board Controller

The DHM065 Dehumidifier can be used with the included

control or an external control such as an IAQ thermostat or

dehumidistat control. If the dehumidifer is controlled by an

IAQ thermostat or dehumidistat control, follow the

instructions for that control.

Settings

The settings in this menu should only be set by the

installing contractor.

Relative%

Displays the RH reading of the sensor. The sensor is

in dehumidifier, not the controller.

Air Sampling (When using the onboard controller

the dehumidifier runs the internal fan 3 minutes

every 30 minutes to sample air from the space to

get a relative humidity reading.)

Setting for Relative Humidity

Hold Button

This is used by the installer for testing the dehu-

midifier and is not meant for use during normal

operation.

Up and Down Arrow Buttons

These buttons adjust the Relative Humidity setting

from Home Screen or adjust settings in the Setting

Menu

Alerts

When an alert is active, it will display an alert Icon.

See Alert section for accessing alerts.

Alarms shut down the system and the message is

displayed as scrolling text in display.

Evaporator coil is frozen. This could be caused

by insufficient air flow or cold, dry air.

03-Low temp

mode

Inlet air temperature is less than 50 °F during

a call for dehumidification.

04-Inlet air temp

too low

Inlet air temperature is less than -20 °F.

05-Compressor

overheating

This could be caused by insufficient air flow

due to a clogged filter or duct obstruction,

high inlet air temperatures, or a combination

of the two.

06-Outlet air tem-

perature too high

This could be caused by insufficient air flow

due to a clogged filter or duct obstruction,

high inlet air temperatures, or a combination

of the two.

07-Ambient high

temperature

The measured internal air temperature is

greater than 110F while the unit is in an idle

state or after three minutes of air sampling.

14-Voltage out of

spec

Measured line voltage is outside the range of

102 VAC - 132 VAC.

25-Onboard con-

troller com-

munication error

The onboard controller lost communication

with the dehumidifier.

26-Ambient

sensor com-

munication fail-

ure

The ambient sensor in the onboard display

controller failed.

30-Air flow

blocked

This could be caused by insufficient air flow

due to a clogged filter or duct obstruction.

The normally closed float switch has opened

and there is an open circuit between the two

FLOAT terminals or the water leak detection

rope has detected water.

Compressor has been running continuously

for more than 25 hours.

70-Change filter

The selected filter change time period has

expired.

71-Frequent coil

ALERT 40 was generated more than two times

More than three ALERT 02 (Continuous run-

time) alerts have been generated in an 80-

hour time period. The dehumidifier has insuf-

ficient capacity for this installation.

Maintenance

If you have a service contract with the installing pro, they

may do the required maintenance as well as verifying

proper operation during the service visit.

If replacing the filter or cleaning the drain line yourself,

consult the online User Manual.
