By purchasing the Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve
energysaving radiator thermostat you own a program mable radiator
thermostat which can be used for temperature regulations in
enclosed rooms andtherefore, it can contribute to the reduction of
heating energy. – Please use the thermostat only for this purpose.
The programming port is intended ONLY for our programming stick.
Never connect other devices with the programming port!

By pressing you will arrive at the set up menu.
Please choose one of the items with the selector wheel.
With you can select one menu item and with the selection
wheel they can be adjusted. The button confirms the setting.

Inserting / replacing batteries
In order to open the battery compartment please push at the
marked positions to remove the cover.
Then insert the batteries as shown in the illustration.
Do not use accumulators! Ensure that the polarity is correct!

Attention:
• Never recharge batteries, danger of explosion!
• Do not short-circuit batteries!
• Do not disassemble batteries!
• Take low batteries out of the device immediately.
• Keep batteries away from extreme warming – danger of leakage!
• Do not apply used and new batteries together.
• If needed, clean the battery and the contacts before using them.
• Keep the batteries away from children.
• When getting in touch with battery acid instantly irrigate the
affected parts with clear water and call a doctor.
Setting date and time
After inserting the batteries for the first time, the date will flash on
the display. Now, date and time can be set.

On the display will be shown. Now, the motor will completely
move to the installation position in order to make the installation easier.
As soon as Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve is ready for
installation will be shown on the display.
You can also set date and time via the menu item later on.
But in case of that, Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve does not
move to the installation position.
→ In case of replacing batteries, the stored time programme will
remain active. You should check the specified time to ensure that.
Installation
Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve can be quickly and easily
mounted on all common valves (see adapter table). It can be installed
without grime and water spots because the heating circuit is not
interrupted.
1) Turn the manual thermostat head up completely, loosen the
fastening and pull the thermostat off of the valve.
2) Use an appropriate adapter, if required, and push it onto the valve.
Screw the connector on the valve or the adapter.
Now, you put Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve on the
connector until it noticeably clicks into place.
→ In case of a later installation , please switch in the menu to
before you install the device. Herewith the installation is
facilitated.
Dismounting
→ In order to dismount Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve press
the releasing device to loosen the locking device. Now, pull the
Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve off of the valve.

Adaptation
Initial installation: Press the button until appears on the
display so that Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve will be able to
start its adaptation. The device will adapt itself to the stroke of your
valve body. To do this the valve will now be opened and closed
several times to store the end points.
In some cases this process can take a few minutes.
After successful adaptation it returns to normal mode.
→ Should adaptation become necessary again, e.g. if your radiator
does not cool down in the -Position, please press in the
menu the button until adaptation starts again.
→ If the mistake is shown on the display place Go Green Radiator
Thermostat Valve onto the radiator valve and then take the
batteries out for a short time in order to execute a reset.
Basic operating modes
MANU-mode
In the MANU-mode Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve adjusts to
the manually specified temperature.
AUTO-mode
In the AUTO-mode Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve changes
between to temperatures according to the time programme that has
been set:
comfort temperature (factory preset 21°C)
economy temperature (factory preset 16°C)
The heating and economy times can be specified via the adjustable
time programme. It is possible to set 8 switch points (4 heating and
4 economy times) per day at the most. Go Green Radiator
Thermostat Valve the following factory preset:
Heating time:
Heating with comfort temperature (factory preset: First heating
time at 07:00)
Economy time:
Lowering to economy temperature (factory preset: First economy
time at 22:00)
Setting heating and economy times
With Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve it is possible to set
4 heating and 4 economy times per day – one for each day or one
for a block of several days.
TAG1 to TAG7 represent the weekdays from Monday to Sunday.
Additionally, the corresponding days are shown as abbreviation below
the menu bar on the display.
Block construction:
T1–5 = same programme from Monday to Friday
T1–6 = same programme from Monday to Saturday
T1–7 = same programme from Monday to Sunday
→ For non-programmed days the factory preset remains active.
Setting of an individual programme
Press . Select the menu item with the selector wheel.
Press

Manual operation
With the selector wheel an adaptation of the room temperature is
possible at any time. In the AUTO-mode it remains active until the
next switch point is reached. Now, the usual programme
becomes active again.
Further functions
The timer function is selected with the timer-button
With this function a user-defined temperature for a programmable
period can be entered. This can be very useful in case of a party,
for example. Press . First, the time for which the time
programme has been deactivated is shown. Confirm with .
Now, the desired temperature can be set. Confirm with
Offset
If the perceived temperature significantly differs from the set
thermostat temperature a temperature set up can be executed.
Press . Select the menu item with the selector wheel.
Confirm with . The degree setting will flash on the
display.
Now set up the desired adaptation for the temperature (from -5 up
to 5ºC) with the selector wheel. Confirm your entry with

Window function
If you open a window and consequently the temperature drops
significantly Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve will automatically
close the heating valve in order to save energy. The display will
show . Afterwards Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve will
resume normal operation.
For the set up select in the menu. Confirm with

(= date of the recommencement of the regular heating times).

The signal appears on the display. Now set the temperature

Child lock
You can lock Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve to protect the
device from unauthorized activation.
Press the buttons and at the same time for about
2 seconds until the symbol appears on the display in order to
lock the device. By using this button combination again the symbol
disappears and you release the lock.
Heating pause – Closing the Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve
Press . Select the menu item with the selector wheel.
Confirm with
Select and confirm with .
Set the temperature on the display to .
The valve is now closed and will work with a time programme.
The calcification protection function remains active once a week.
After the heating pause you switch in the menu to the AUTO-mode
and the personally set programme will be executed again.
Going back to factory preset / All reset
Press . Select the menu item with the selector wheel.
Confirm with . flashes, confirm with

Now proceed as described for the initial operation.
Freeze protection and calcification protection function are active
automatically
Freeze protection function
If the temperature drops below 6°C, Go Green Radiator Thermostat
Valve opens the valve until the temperature again rises above 8°C.
This prevents the radiators from freezing.
Calcification protection
To prevent radiator valves from calcifying Go Green Radiator
Thermostat Valve is submitted to a calcification protection programme
once a week on Friday mornings.

Cleaning and used devices
Cleaning
To clean the Go Green Radiator Thermostat Valve use only a
dry or lightly wet cloth. Avoid chemical solvent – it can probably
damage the device.
Used devices
Do not throw old devices and packaging into the household waste.

Manuele bediening
Met het stelwiel kan te allen tijde de ruimtetemperatuur worden
gewijzigd. In de AUTO-modus blijft deze temperatuur tot het volgende
schakelpunt gehandhaafd. Dan schakelt Radiatorthermostaat over op
het ingestelde programma.
Verdere instelmogelijkheden
De timerfunctie kan via de timer-toets worden opgeroepen. Met deze
functie kan een willekeurige temperatuur voor een in te stellen
tijdsperiode worden vastgelegd. Dit kan praktisch zijn bijvoorbeeld bij
een party. Knop indrukken. Eerst verschijnt de tijd, gedurende
welke het tijdprogramma dient te worden uitgeschakeld. Met de
toets bevestigen. Nu kan de gewenste temperatuur worden
ingesteld. Met de toets bevestigen.
Offset
Vaak wijkt een gevoelstemperatuur, bijvoorbeeld door de ruimtelijke
afstand tot de radiator, aanzienlijk van de ingestelde thermostaattem-
peratuur af. Om die reden dient u een individueel op uw specifieke
situatie aangepaste temperatuursetup uit te voeren. Knop
indrukken. Met het stelwiel het menupunt selecteren. Met de
toets bevestigen. Op de display gaat de
gradeninstelling knipperen. Stel nu de gewenste verhoging (-5
– +5°C) van de temperatuur met het stelwiel in. Met de toets
bevestigen. De temperatuurweergave op de display verandert niet!
Open-raamfunctie
Wanneer na het openen van een raam de temperatuur sterk daalt,
sluit de Digitale thermostaatknop automatisch de radiatorkraan om
energie te sparen. Op de display verschijnt . Aansluitend neemt de
Digitale thermostaatknop het normale bedrijf weer op. Selecteer in het
menu voor het instellen van deze functie. Met de toets
bevestigen.
Selecteer eerst met het stelwiel de gevoeligheid
= hoge gevoeligheid
= middel-gevoeligheid (standaardinstelling),
= lage gevoeligheid). Met de toets bevestigen.
Selecteer vervolgens de tijdsduur (10 min (fabrieksinstelling) - 60 min)
gedurende welke de kraan gesloten dient te blijven. Met de toets
bevestigen.
Reisfunctie
Voor een afwezigheidsperiode kunt u een willekeurige temperatuur
vastleggen. Na deze periode functioneert weer automatisch het door
u ingestelde programma.
Knop indrukken. Selecteer met het stelwiel het menupunt
. Met de toets bevestigen (er verschijnt een koffertje
op de display). Met het stelwiel selecteert u het einde van uw
reisfunctie (= datum van opnieuw beginnen van de reguliere
verwarmingstijden). Met de toets bevestigen. Geef nu de tijd
(= opnieuw beginnen van de reguliere verwarmingstijden) in en
bevestig wederom met de knop . Er knippert op de
display. Geef nu de temperatuur gedurende uw afwezigheid in en
bevestig uw invoer met de knop . verschijnt op de
display. Met kunt u de functie deactiveren.
Kinderbeveiliging
Als beveiliging tegen onbevoegd bedienen kunt u de Digitale
thermostaatknop blokkeren. Daarvoor drukt u de knoppen
+ tegelijkertijd > 2 seconden in tot er op de display
verschijnt; met dezelfde combinatie maakt u de blokkering weer
ongedaan.
Verwarmingspauze / Digitale thermostaatknop sluiten
Knop indrukken. Selecteer met het stelwiel het menupunt
. Met de toets bevestigen. Selecteer met het stelwiel
. Met de toets bevestigen. Met het stelwiel de
temperatuur op de display op zetten. De kraan is nu gesloten
en werkt zonder tijdprogramma. De antikalk-functie 1 keer per week
blijft actief. Na de verwarmingspauze gaat u in het menu weer naar de
AUTO-modus, waarmee het door u ingestelde programma weer wordt
uitgevoerd.
Fabrieksinstellingen waarden / all reset
Knop indrukken. Selecteer met het stelwiel het menupunt
. Met de toets bevestigen. knippert, met de toets
bevestigen. De Digitale thermostaatknop bevindt zich nu weer in de
uitleveringstoestand. Nu dient u weer te werk te gaan als bij de eerste
ingebruikname.
De vorstbeveiligings- en antikalkfuncties zijn automatisch geactiveerd
Vorstbeveiligingsfunctie
Daalt de temperatuur tot onder de 6°C, dan opent de Digitale
thermostaatknop de radiatorkraan zo lang tot de temperatuur weer tot
boven de 8°C stijgt. Daarmee wordt voorkomen dat de radiator
bevriest.
Anti-kalkfunctie
Om het verkalken van de radiatorkraan te voorkomen, voert de
Digitale thermostaatknop 1x per week, vrijdag‘s ochtends, een
anti-kalkfunctie uit.

Schoonmaken en afvalverwerking
Schoonmaken
Gebruik voor het schoonmaken van de Digitale thermostaatknop
alleen een droge of hooguit licht vochtige doek. Vermijd chemische
oplosmiddelen, u beschadigt daarmee eventueel het apparaat.
Afvalverwerking
Gooi oude apparaten en verpakkingsmateriaal nooit bij het
huisvuil, u dient het naar een recyclage verzamelpunt te brengen.
Meer informatie hieromtrent ontvangt u bij uw plaatselijke

Afregelen
Eerste installatie: Daarna de knop indrukken tot
verschijnt, zodat de Digitale thermostaatknop met afregelen kan
beginnen. Het apparaat past zich daarbij aan de slag van uw kraan
aan. Daartoe wordt de kraan nu meerdere keren open- en
dichtgedraaid om de betreffende eindpunten te leren. Deze procedure
kan eventueel enkele minuten in beslag nemen. Na succesvolle
afregeling gaat het apparaat over in normaal bedrijf.
→ Mocht het nodig zijn het afregelen opnieuw uit te voeren, bijv.
wanneer uw radiator in de stand niet koud wordt, in het
menu selecteren totdat het afregelen opnieuw begint.
→ Verschijnt op de display de foutmelding , plaats dan de Digitale
thermostaatknop op de kraan van de radiator en neem vervolgens
de batterijen even eruit om zodoende een reset door te voeren.
Basismodi
MANU-mode
In de MANU-modus regelt de Digitale thermostaatknop de handmatig
ingestelde temperatuur.
AUTO-mode
De Digitale thermostaatknop wisselt in de AUTO-modus
overeenkomstig het ingestelde tijdprogramma tussen twee
temperaturen:
comforttemperatuur (fabrieksinstelling 21°C)
spaartemperatuur (fabrieksinstelling 16°C)
De verwarmings- en besparingstijden kunnen via het vrij
programmeerbare tijdsprogramma worden ingesteld. Er kunnen max.
8 schakelpunten (4 verwarmings- en 4 besparingstijden) per dag
worden ingesteld. De Digitale thermostaatknop heeft de volgende
voorgeprogrammeerde standaardinstellingen:
Verwarmingstijd:
Verwarmen tot comforttemperatuur (fabrieksinstelling: start van de 1e
verwarmingstijd om 7.00 uur)
Economy time:
Verlaging naar spaartemperatuur (fabrieksinstelling: start van de 1e
besparingstijd om 22.00 uur)
Verwarmings- en besparingstijden instellen
Met de Digitale thermostaatknop kunt u voor elke dag apart of via 3
verschillende weekprogramma‘s telkens 4 verwarmings- en 4
besparingstijden instellen. De dagen van de week zijn in het
tijdprogramma met 1-7 doorgenummerd. (1= maandag t/m 7=
zondag).
Voor de weekprogramma‘s geldt:
T1–5 = hetzelfde programma maandag t/m vrijdag
T1–6 = hetzelfde programma maandag t/m zaterdag
T1–7 = hetzelfde programma maandag t/m zondag
→ Niet geprogrammeerde dagen = fabrieksinstelling actief / blijven
ongewijzigd.
Individueel programma instellen
Knop indrukken. Met het stelwiel het menupunt selecte-
ren. Met de toets bevestigen. Op de display verschijnt
voor maandag. Met het stelwiel dag/blok selecteren. Met de toets
bevestigen.
Met het stelwiel het begin van de 1e verwarmingsperiode ( ) instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Met het stelwiel het begin van de 1e besparingsperiode ( ) instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Ga naar de 2e, 3e en 4e verwarmings- resp. besparingsperiode
zoals hierboven beschreven.
→ Wilt u deze niet programmeren, dan ‘----’ bevestigen met de
toets.
Op de display verschijnt de volgende te programmeren dag.
→ Wilt u geen andere dag instellen, verlaat dan het menu met .
Wanneer de temperatuur op de display verschijnt, is de
programmering afgesloten.
→ Het is ook mogelijk om binnen blokken afzonderlijke dagen met
afwijkende tijden in te voeren.
Comfort- en spaartemperatuur wijzigen
Knop indrukken. Met het stelwiel het menupunt selecte-
ren. Met de toets bevestigen. Met het stelwiel comforttempera-
tuur instellen. Met de toets bevestigen. Met het stelwiel
spaartemperatuur instellen. Met de toets bevestigen.
Gedeelte : 8°C, vorstbeveiligingsfunctie actief
Gedeelte : Kraan helemaal geopend
Tip
De maximale energiebesparing bereikt u bij een spaartemperatuur die
ca. 5°C onder de comforttemperatuur ligt.
Waarschuwing:
• Batterijen nooit opnieuw opladen, niet kortsluiten en niet uit elkaar
halen - gevaar voor explosie!
• Lege batterijen onmiddellijk uit het apparaat verwijderen.
• Bescherm batterijen tegen te sterke opwarming - verhoogd risico van
lekkage!
• Geen gebruikte en nieuwe batterijen tegelijk gebruiken.
• Maak de contacten van de batterijen en het apparaat zo nodig
schoon alvorens de batterijen te plaatsen.
• Houd batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen.
• Vermijd het contact met huid, ogen en slijmvliezen. In geval van
contact met de batterijvloeistof de betreffende plaatsen onmiddellijk
spoelen met veel schoon water en meteen een arts consulteren.
Datum en tijd instellen
Bij de eerste ingebruikname knippert na het plaatsen
van de batterijen het jaartal. Nu kunnen datum en tijd
worden ingesteld.
Met stelwiel het jaartal instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Met stelwiel de maand instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Met stelwiel de dag instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Met stelwiel de uren instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen.
Met stelwiel de minuten instellen.
Met de toets bevestigen – klaar.
Op de display verschijnt . De aandrijving gaat nu volledig open
om de montage te vergemakkelijke. De aanwijzing verschijnt
daarbij op de display.
Het is ook mogelijk om op een later tijdstip via het menupunt
datum en tijd in te stellen. De Digitale thermostaatknop gaat daarna
echter niet in montagepositie.
→ Bij het vervangen van de batterijen blijft het opgeslagen
tijdprogramma behouden. Controleer eventueel de instelling van de
actuele tijd.
Monteren
Go Green Digitale thermostaatknop kan probleemloos op alle bekende
kranen (zie lijst met adapters) worden gemonteerd; schoon en zonder
watervlekken omdat het warmwatercircuit niet wordt onderbroken.
1) Manuele thermostaatkop geheel opendraaien, bevestiging
losmaken en kop aftrekken van de kraan (ventiel).
2) Kies eventueel een passende adapter en monteer deze op de
kraan.
3) Draai de koppelring op de kraan resp. op de adapter.
4) Plaats nu de Digitale thermostaatknop op het koppelstuk, totdat
deze hoorbaar vastklikt.
→ Bij eventuele latere montages vóór de montage in het menu .
Dat vergemakkelijkt demontage.
Verwijderen
→ Om de Go Green Digitale thermostaatknop te verwijderen, dient u
op de ontgrendeling te drukken en zodoende de kliksluiting los te
maken. Trek vervolgens de Digitale thermostaatknop van de kraan
af.
Vervang de

Met de aanschaf van de Go Green Digitale thermostaatknop hebt
u een programmeerbare radiatorregelaar gekocht die kan worden
gebruikt voor het regelen van de temperatuur in gesloten ruimten.
De thermostaatknop past op alle gebruikelijke thermostaatkranen
(eventueel met adapter) en kan een bijdrage leveren aan de
vermindering van het energieverbruik. Gebruik de thermostaatknop
uitsluitend voor dat doeleinde.
De programmeer-port is uitsluitend bestemd voor onze PROGmatic
programmeerstick.Sluit hierop nooit andere apparaten aan!

Instellingsmenu
Met komt u in het instellingsmenu. De verschillende
punten kunnen door middel van het stelwiel
worden geselecteerd. Met selecteert u
een menupunt, met het stelwiel kunnen de waarden
worden gewijzigd bevestigt een invoer,
met komt u weer in een vorig menu-niveau.

Batterijen plaatsen en vervangen
Verwijder de batterijafdekking door op de gemarkeerde plaatsen
te drukken en de afdekking weg te trekken. Plaats vervolgens de
batterijen overeenkomstig de afbeelding.
Geen oplaadbare batterijen gebruiken!
Let op een juiste polariteit!!
