Attaching the conversion lens

1 Turn o the camera.

2 Remove the front ring from the camera as described in the

camera manual.

3 Remove the lens caps on the front and rear of the conversion

lens.

4 Attach the conversion lens to the camera (Figure 1).

When using the conversion lens with an X100, X100S, or X100T,

select for TELE YCONVERSION LENS in the camera shooting

menu. The X100F automatically detects the conversion lens and

adjusts settings appropriately.

Note

Be careful not to drop the conversion lens or camera when

attaching/removing the conversion lens.

Removing the conversion lens

1 Turn o the camera.

2 Remove the conversion lens from the camera.

3 Re-attach the front ring to the camera.

If you are using an X100F, YCONVERSION LENS will automati-

cally revert to OFF when the conversion lens is removed. Users

of the X100, X100S, or X100T will need to manually select OFF

for YCONVERSION LENS.

Notes on use

• Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the lens surfaces.

To remove smudges and  ngerprints, apply a small amount of

ethanol or lens cleaner to a soft, clean cotton cloth or lens-

cleaning tissue and clean from the center outwards using a

circular motion, taking care not to leave smears or touch the

glass with your  ngers.

• If the lens will not be used for an extended period, store it in

a cool, dry location to prevent mold and rust. Do not store in

direct sunlight or with naphtha or camphor moth balls.

• Leaving the lens in extremely hot locations could cause dam-

age or warping.

• Do not subject to strong physical shocks.

• Always place the lens caps on the front and rear of the conver-

sion lens when storing.

• After attaching the conversion lens, do not carry the camera

by holding the conversion lens.

• Shadows may appear in photos taken with the camera’s built-

in  ash. We recommend using an optional external  ash unit

designated for use with your camera.

• Note that this product contains magnets, which are placed

around the lens closest to the camera. Observe the following

precautions when using this product:

- Keep the product away from magnetic cards, tape, pre-paid

cards, and other magnetic storage devices. Failure to observe

this precaution could corrupt the data stored on the device.

- Keep the product away from electronic and radio devices, as

it could cause malfunction or abnormal operation.

- Keeping this device in the vicinity of people who use pace-

makers and other electronic medical devices is extremely

dangerous, as it could cause the devices to malfunction.

- Foreign matter such as iron sand or  lings that may adhere

to magnetic surfaces in some environments can be removed

using a weakly adhesive tape.

1 カメラの電源をオフにします。

3 カメラのフロントリングを取り付けてください。

X100F では、本製品を取り外すと自動で Y コン

バージョンレンズの設定が OFF に戻ります。X100/

X100S/X100T では、コンバージョンレンズを使用し

ないときは、カメラの撮影メニューの Y

コンバージョ

ンレンズをOFF にしてください。

お手入れと取り扱い上のご注意

• レンズ面の清掃は、ホコリを拭う程度にしてくださ

い。指紋がついたときは、柔らかい清潔な木綿の布

に無水アルコール（エタノール）または市販のレン

ズクリーナーを少量湿らせ、レンズの中心から外周

へ渦巻状に、拭きムラ、拭き残りのないように注意

して拭いてください。

• コンバージョンレンズを長期間使用しないときは、

カビやサビを防ぐために、高温多湿のところを避け

て保管してください。また、直射日光のあたるところ、

ナフタリンや樟脳のあるところも避けてください。

• ストーブの前など、高温になるところに置かないで

ください。極端に温度が高くなると、製品が変形す

ることがあります。

•

コンバージョンレンズを取り付けるときやご使用にな

る際には、衝撃を与えないように充分ご注意ください。

• 保管の際には必ずコンバージョンレンズの前後に

キャップを取り付けてください。

• カメラにコンバージョンレンズを取り付けたあと、

コンバージョンレンズを持ってカメラを持ち運ばな

いでください。

• カメラの内蔵フラッシュを使用して撮影すると、画

像の一部が暗くなることがあります。専用外部フラッ

シュのご使用をおすすめします。

• 本製品はカメラ側の面のレンズ周辺部に磁石を使用

しております。次の点にご注意ください。

本製品を磁気カード、磁気テープ、プリペイドカー

ドなどの磁気記録媒体に近づけると記録を破損する

ことがあります。本製品を近づけないでください。

- 本製品を各種電子機器、通信機器などに近づける

と正常な動作が妨げられたり、故障や事故につな

がることがあります。近づけないでください。

- 心臓ペースメーカーなど電子医療機器を装着した

人へ本製品を近づけることは大変危険です。医療

機器の正常な作動を損なう恐れがあります。ご注

意ください。

- 使用環境によっては、磁石部分に砂鉄が付着する

場合があります。付着した砂鉄を除去したい場合

The TCL-X100II increases the focal length of X100-series cameras by

1.4× without a ecting the lens f-number (lens speed).

コンバージョンレンズの取り付けかた

1 カメラの電源をオフにします。

2 フロントリングをカメラから取りはずします。フロ

ントリングのはずし方はカメラの使用説明書を参照

してください。

コンバージョンレンズの前後のキャップをはずします。

カメラにコンバージョンレンズを取り付けます（図 1）。

X100/X100S/X100T では、コンバージョンレンズを

使用するときは、カメラの撮影メニューの Y

コンバー

ジョンレンズテレをにしてください。X100F では、本

製品が装着されると自動認識します。
