Overview

The Extron

®

TLP Pro 535, 835, and 1035T series are tabletop touchpanels with capacitive, edge-to-edge glass touchscreens.

•The TLP Pro 535T has a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280x720 resolution and 24-bit color depth.

•The TLP Pro 835T has an 8-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280x800 resolution and 24-bit color depth.

•The TLP Pro 1035T has a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280x800 resolution and 24-bit color depth.

The touchpanels have native support for H.264 streaming formats, which allows the touchpanels to display live streaming video

preview from an IP camera or a streaming encoder such as the Extron SMP or SME series of products.

This guide provides instructions for experienced installers to mount and install these touchpanels. For more complete details, see

Get Ready

•Download and install the latest version of the following software onto the PC being used to congure the TouchLink panel:

•GUI Designer — For designing layouts for Extron TouchLink Pro touchpanels and third party touch interfaces.

•Global Congurator

®

Plus and Professional — For setting up and conguring the control processor and touchpanel.

•ControlScript

®

Deployment Utility — Provides an integrated development environment for Extron control systems

programming.

•Toolbelt — Used for device discovery, device information, rmware updates, and conguration of network settings,

system utilities, and user management for TouchLink Pro devices.

NOTES:

•All four software programs and supporting documentation are available from www.extron.com.

•You may need an Extron Insider account to run some of these software programs. To obtain one, contact the

Extron Sales Department.

• Obtain the following network information from your network administrator:

•DHCP status— ( or ono). If DHCP is o󰀨, you also require:

•••IP addressSubnet maskGateway

•Username — This can be either .adminuser or

•Password — The factory congured passwords for all accounts on this device have been set to the device serial number.

Passwords can be changed during conguration. Passwords are case sensitive.

NOTE:If the device is reset to default settings, the passwords are reset to the default password, which is extron

(for either or adminuser).

•MAC address — Make a note of the touchpanel MAC address, which can be found on the base of the panel.

•SSL security certificates and IEEE 802.1X authentication — Extron touchpanels come with a factory-installed Secure

Sockets Layer (SSL) security certicate. IEEE 802.1X authentication is also supported once enabled. See the TLP Pro x35
