This video intercom system encloses: a video monitor with handset and video,
and an outdoorstation including an intercom syst oem and a camera in order t
see and speak to the visitor. It is easy to install because it needs only 2 wires
to connect the camera to the monitor for all the functions: ring, image, video,
ntercom, door release.
For an efficient use, please read carefully this manual.

3. “INTERCOM” light: this light is on when there is a second monitor (optional)

4. “INTERCOM” button (when EXTEL VPMS 230 is ins alled) press this button to callt
and talk with the other monitor
5. Switch ON/Standby: in order to activate or switch off the image on the monitor
6. “DOOR OPENING” button: Press this button in order to open the door (when
there is a closure system installed and when monitor is ON )
7. Volume control: to reduce or increase the ring volume
8. Video image cut off and brightness adjustment
9. DC plug; connect to an installation conform to the rules enforced
10. Modulator jack; connect the monitor to the handset
11. Loudspeaker for chime call

2 . Infrared LED: built-in infrared LED allows you
t v lo identify the visitors e en in poor y lit areas
(when the visitor is placed at 30 cm. Over 30 cm,
you must add another light).

4 . Name holder and call button: as soon as the
visitor presses the call button, the picture will
appear on the indoor monitor, and the indoor and
outdoor chime bell will be activated.

1. Mount the wall bracket (2).
2. Connect the wires from outdoorstation according to wiring diagram (page 7).
3. Fix the indoor monitor (1) into the wall bracket (2).
4. When camera is connected, connect the AC/DC adaptor (3).

As the camera is embedded, it is better to keep it prevented from rain with
a rainshield or any other mean at your convenience.

F wix the plastic box (3) being a are to not obstruct the holes intended for mounting screws.

Remove the two screw covers (4) with a screwdriver to insert in the notch (5).
3. Connect lead wires according to the wiring diagram (page 7 or 8).

F f ewsix the base panel on the wall mounting sur ace box thanks to the two special scr
supplied with mounting key (2).
5. Fix again the two screw covers (4).
