INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FLUSH

INSTALLATION OF FRAMELESS HOBS

We recommend this variant for flush

installation due to the following advantages:

• Convenient alignment of the height of

the hob in order to allow for tolerances

through deformable levelling

compounds.

• A red sealing lip prevents the silicone

compound from seeping under the glass

plate.

ASSEMBLY

1. Peel off the protective film and apply the

self-adhesive seal right around the

cleaned rabbet support surface.

2. Apply two beads of levelling compound

on each side, with spacing of

approximately 80 mm from the corner

to the seal, and press gently.

3. Place the hob carefully and centrally

into the recess (recommendation: use a

suction pad).

4. Press the hob on by hand to align it to

the required vertical level relative to the

working surface. The red sealing lip

must be between the glass and the

rabbet recess on the side. In terms of

safety, it is advisable for the glass

surface to be installed between 0.2 and

1 mm below the working surface (it

traps the liquids that overflow).

5. Cement in the hob with a suitable

silicone compound (temperature

resistance > 160°C). Take note of the

curing time for the silicone compound.
