Montage

Der thermische Stellantrieb wird mit der Überwurfmutter

auf das Ventil oder den Verteiler aufgeschraubt.

Hinweis:

Die Einbaulage ist senkrecht nach oben oder

waag recht. Der Stellantrieb darf nicht nach unten

hängend montiert werden! Überwurfmutter nur von

Hand festziehen.

Achtung !

Das Gerät darf nur durch einen Elektro-Fachmann in-

stalliert werden. Dabei sind die bestehenden Sicher-

heitsvorschriften zu beachten! Der thermische Stell-

antrieb TS Slimline dient zur Steuerung von Ventilen

in üblicher Umgebung.

Anwendung und Funktion

Die thermischen Stellantriebe stromlos geschlos-

sen TS Slimline decken vielfältige Steuerungs- und

Regelaufgaben in der Heizungs-, Klima- und Lüftungs-

technik ab. Typische Anwendungsgebiete sind unter an-

derem;

• Einzelraumregelung von Fußbodenheizungs- und Heiz-

körperanlagen

• Gruppenregelung

• Mehrkreisregelung bei Ein- und Zweirohranlagen

• Einzelraumregelung von Einrohrheizungen in reitender

Ausführung

Der Stellantrieb kann für verschiedene Ventiltypen gelie-

fert werden. Er wird von einem Regelgerät (z.B. Raumtem-

peraturregler) angesteuert. Ein Anzeigefenster zeigt an,

wie weit der Stellantrieb geöffnet ist.

Bedienung

Die Hubanzeige hinter dem Schauglas an der Frontsei-

te des Stellantriebes zeigt an, wie weit der Stellantrieb

geöffnet ist. Die Hubanzeige dient damit der Funktions-

überwachung des Stellantriebes: läuft die Anzeige nach 5

Minuten anliegender Betriebsspannung auf die Position

„geöffnet“, so arbeitet das Gerät einwandfrei. Trennt man

den Stellantrieb von der Spannung, muss die Hubanzei-

ge innerhalb von 5 Minuten die Position „geschlossen“

anzeigen.

Application and function

The thermal actuators can solve various tasks of con-

trolling and regulating in the applications heating,

air-conditioning and ventilation.

Typical areas of application are:

• single room control for under floor heating systems and

radiator heating systems

• zone control

• multi-circuit control with 1- or 2-pipe systems

• single room control of 1-pipe heating systems in riding

versions

The thermal actuator can be supplied for various valve

types and sizes of mechanical connections. It is controlled

by a control device (e.g. room thermostat)

Installation

The thermal actuator is screwed on to the valve or mani-

fold with a ring nut.

Note:

The device can be installed vertically or horizontal-

ly. The thermal actuator may not be installed upside

down. Ring nut to be hand tightened!

The TS Slimline should only be installed by a suitably

-qualified person. All valid health and safety regu-

lations must also be complied with. The Thermal

Actuator TS Slimline is suitable for the opening and

closing of valves in dry and enclosed rooms in normal

ambient conditions.

Operation

The stroke display window situated on the front of the

actuator shows how far the actuator is opened. The

stroke display shows if the actuator is running well.

If voltage is applied to the device for 5 Min., the indicator

should show an open valve.

If disconnecting the voltage for 5 Min., the indicator

should show a closed valve.
