BEACHTEN SIE!
■Mit Hilfe des Artikels wird die Heckklappe eines Fahrzeugs
nach dem Entriegeln automatisch geöffnet. Der Artikel wird an
den DĂ€mpferstangen der Heckklappe angebracht.
■Vorsicht vor Verletzungen! Nach dem Entriegeln springt
die Heckklappe auf und schwingt einige Zentimeter hoch. Vor
allem bei Kindern auf Abstand achten!
■Den Artikel nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
■Der Artikel ist fĂŒr den Privatgebrauch, nicht fĂŒr eine gewerb-
liche Nutzung konzipiert.
■Von der GewĂ€hrleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle MĂ€ngel, die
durch unsachgemĂ€ĂŸe Behandlung, BeschĂ€digung, Reparatur-
versuche oder fehlerhafte Eingaben in der Steuersoftware ent-
stehen. Dies gilt auch fĂŒr den normalen Verschleiß. Sowohl
der Einbau als auch die Benutzung des Artikels erfolgen auf
eigene Gefahr.
■Die FunktionalitĂ€t des Artikels ist abhĂ€ngig vom Zustand der
verbauten DĂ€mpfer. Diese sollten zu 100 % intakt sein.
■Es bedarf ca. 14 Tage, bis sich der Artikel an die Beschaffen-
heit des Fahrzeuges angepasst hat und alle Mechanismen ein-
wandfrei funktionieren. Es ist kein Fehler, sollte der Artikel in
den ersten Tagen nicht optimal funktionieren. Bei anhaltenden
Komplikationen den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
■Die Heckklappe zur PrĂŒfung der Funktion beim ersten Mal vor-
sichtig schließen.
■Bei kĂ€lteren Temperaturen kann es zu EinschrĂ€nkungen der
FunktionalitÀt kommen.

‱ 2 SchrumpfschlĂ€uche inkl. Feder und Unterlegscheibe
‱ Einbauanleitung
Einbau
Benötigt werden: 1 ïŹ‚ acher Schraubendreher, etwas Klebeband,
2 Zangen (Kombi- und / oder Rohrzange), ggf. 1 Spitzzange;
fĂŒr Golf VI: 30er Torx- (Innensechsrund-) Schraubendreher
Den Lieferumfang auspacken und auf VollstÀndigkeit sowie mög-
liche TransportschĂ€den prĂŒfen. Bei SchĂ€den den Artikel nicht (!)
verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Beim Einbau die Heckklappe abstĂŒtzen oder jemanden
um Hilfe bitten, damit sie geöffnet bleibt.

abnehmen.

Öffnung voran auf
die DĂ€mpferstange
schieben.

Die Kugelaufnahme
auf die DĂ€mpferstan-
ge schrauben.
Die Arretierung (mit
einer Spitzzange)
spreizen und die
Kugelaufnahme am
Kugelkopf befestigen.
Mit dem zweiten DĂ€mpfer genauso verfahren.
Nach dem Einbau kann die Hecklappe per Knopfdruck auf der
FFB (Funkfernbedienung) ganz geöffnet werden.
HINWEIS: Sollten die SchrumpfschlÀuche zu locker auf den
DĂ€mpfern sitzen, können sie mit Heißluft (eines Heißluftföns)
geschrumpft werden.
Besonderheiten
Golf VI: ZusÀtzlich
die untere DĂ€mpfer-
halterung mit einem
30er Torx- (Innen-
sechsrund-) Schrau-
bendreher lösen,
um 180° drehen und
wieder befestigen.
Bei folgenden Fahrzeugtypen bitte die Fachwerkstatt aufsuchen:
Golf V: Nach dem Einbau die Software des SteuergerÀtes anpas-
sen, damit die SchlĂŒsselfunktion aktiviert werden kann.
12-Byte-STG / 19-Byte-STG:
‱ STG 46 (Komfortsystem) auswĂ€hlen
‱ STG Lange Kodierung
‱ Funktion 07
‱ Byte 01 Bit 4 (ZV-Heckklappe Softtouch) auswĂ€hlen
Passat 3B / 3BG Variant: Die „Softtouchfunktion“ muss codiert
werden, damit dass Schloss komplett entriegelt wird und die
Heckklappe aufspringen kann.
FĂŒr den Passat 3B wird eine drei-Tasten-FFB samt SteuergerĂ€t
benötigt. Sonst muss der Kofferraum per Hand entriegelt werden.

PLEASE NOTE!
■The article is used to open the tailgate of a vehicle automati-
cally after it has been unlocked. The article is attached to the
damper rods of the tailgate.
■Beware of injuries! After the tailgate is unlocked, it springs
open and ïŹ‚ ips up a few centimetres. Make sure that children in
particular stand well back!
■The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
■The article is designed for personal use only and is not intend-
ed for commercial applications.
■The warranty excludes any defects caused by improper use,
damage, attempts at repair or incorrect entries in the control
software. This also applies to normal wear and tear. The article
is both installed and used at your own risk.
■The functionality of the article is dependent on the condition of
the dampers that are ïŹ tted. They should be 100% intact.
■It takes around 14 days for the article to adjust to the condi-
tion of the vehicle and all mechanisms to work perfectly. If the
article does not work optimally in the ïŹ rst few days, this is not a
defect. If you experience persistent complications, contact the
customer service department.
■Close the tailgate carefully the ïŹ rst time you check if it is working.
■There may be restrictions on functionality in colder tempera-
tures.

Installation
You require: 1 ïŹ‚ at screwdriver, a little adhesive tape, 2 sets of pli-
ers (combination and / or pipe pliers), 1 long-nose pliers if neces-
sary;
for Golf VI: Torx T30 (hexalobular) screwdriver
Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness and
for possible transport damage. If you ïŹ nd any damage, do not (!)
use the article, but rather contact the customer service depart-
ment.
During installation, support the tailgate or ask some-
body to help you so that it stays open.

Open and support
the tailgate.
Use the screwdriver
to lever open the
locking mechanism
on the damper.
Detach the ball
holder from the ball
head.
4 5 To prevent any
scratching of the
damper rod and the
ball holder, wrap a
piece of adhesive
tape or cloth around
it.
6 7 Use pliers to hold the
damper rod securely,
use the other pliers
to release the ball
holder and then twist
it off completely. Re-
move the adhesive
tape again.
8 9 Slide the shrink
tube (incl. spring
and washer) with
the large opening
at the front onto the
damper rod.
10 11 Install the damper:
Screw the ball holder
onto the damper rod.
Force apart the lock-
ing mechanism (with
long-nose pliers)
and secure the ball
holder to the ball
head.
Proceed in exactly the same way with the second damper.
After installation, the tailgate can be fully opened at the touch of a
button on the RRC (radio remote control).
NOTE: If the shrink tubes rest too loosely on the dampers, they
can be shrunk using hot air (from a hot air gun).

Golf VI: In addition

Passat 3B / 3BG Variant: The “soft touch function” must be en-
coded so that the lock is completely unlocked and the tailgate can
spring open.
For the Passat 3B, a three-button RRC along with a control de-
vice is required. Otherwise the boot has to be unlocked by hand.

une fois celui-ci déverrouillé. Cet article se monte sur les tiges
des amortisseurs du hayon.
■Attention, risques de blessures ! Une fois dĂ©verrouillĂ©, le
hayon se relĂšve et se rehausse de quelques centimĂštres vers
le haut. Veillez surtout Ă  tenir les enfants Ă  distance !

■Pour tester le bon fonctionnement, fermez dĂ©licatement le
hayon la premiĂšre fois.
■Les tempĂ©ratures plus froides peuvent causer des restrictions
de fonctionnalité.
Composition
2 gaines rétractables avec ressort et rondelle, notice de montage
Montage
Sont requis : 1 tournevis plat, un peu de bande adhésive, 2 pinces
(pince universelle et/ou multiprises), le cas échéant 1 pince à bec
pointu ; pour la Golf VI : tournevis Torx de 30 (pour vis Ă  tĂȘte ronde)
Déballez l'ensemble livré, assurez-vous qu'il soit au complet et ne
présente pas de dommages éventuellement imputables au trans-
port. Si l'article présente des dommages, ne l'utilisez pas (!) et
contactez le service aprĂšs-vente.
Lors du montage, Ă©tayez le hayon ou demandez l'aide
de quelqu'un pour le maintenir ouvert.

DĂ©solidarisez le
logement de la tĂȘte
sphérique.

sphérique, entou-
rez-les de bande
adhésive ou d'un
chiffon.
6 7 Maintenez la tige de
l'amortisseur Ă  l'aide
d'une pince, des-
serrez le logement
sphérique à l'aide
de l'autre pince pour
l'ĂŽter complĂštement.
Enlevez la bande
adhésive.
8 9 Faites coulisser la
gaine rétractable
(avec ressort et
rondelle), grande
ouverture en pre-
mier, sur la tige de
l'amortisseur.
10 11 Montez l'amortis-
seur : vissez le loge-
ment sphérique sur
la tige de l'amortis-
seur.
Écartez l'arrĂȘ-
toir (Ă  l'aide d'une
pince Ă  bec pointu) et
ïŹ xez le logement sur
la tĂȘte sphĂ©rique.
ProcĂ©dez de la mĂȘme façon pour le deuxiĂšme amortisseur.
AprĂšs le montage, le hayon s'ouvre entiĂšrement sur simple pres-
sion d'un bouton depuis la télécommande radio.
REMARQUE : si les gaines rétractables sont trop lùches sur les
amortisseurs, elles peuvent ĂȘtre rĂ©tractĂ©es Ă  l'air chaud (Ă  l'aide
d'un sĂšche-cheveux).
Particularités
Golf VI : desser-
rez Ă©galement le
support inférieur de
l'amortisseur Ă  l'aide
d'un tournevis Torx
de 30 (pour vis Ă 
tĂȘte ronde), faites-
le pivoter à 180° et
reïŹ xez-le.
Pour les types de véhicules suivants, veuillez vous rendre dans
un garage spécialisé :
Golf V : aprĂšs le montage, ajustez le logiciel de commande aïŹ n
que la fonction clĂ© puisse ĂȘtre activĂ©e.

Passat 3B / 3BG Variant : la fonction soft touch doit ĂȘtre codĂ©e
aïŹ n que la serrure puisse ĂȘtre entiĂšrement dĂ©verrouillĂ©e et que le
hayon puisse sauter.
Sur la Passat 3B, une télécommande à trois touches avec appa-
reil de commande est nécessaire. Sinon, il faut déverrouiller le
coffre manuellement.
