Safety
1. The dehumidiïŹer must only be connected to a220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet
ïŹtted with anRCD.
2. The dehumidiïŹer may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
3. Never let children play with thedehumidiïŹer.
4. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under
adult supervision.
5. The dehumidiïŹer must always stand upright.
6. Never sit, cover or place foreign objects on thedehumidiïŹer.
7. Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning thedehumidiïŹer on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidiïŹcation.
8. The dehumidiïŹer must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for theî˜ŸïŹrst
time. The same applies after thethe dehumidiïŹer has been moved or cleaned, etc.
9. Make sure that theair ïŹlter is clean and correctly ïŹtted before turning
thedehumidiïŹer on.
10. Never use thedehumidiïŹer if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged
or does not work properly.
11. Never try to dismantle or repair you dehumidiïŹer yourself.
12. If thedehumidiïŹer needs to be used with anextension lead or trailing socket,
make sure that thelead used is suitable for use with thedehumidiïŹer.
13. Never plug in or unplug thedehumidiïŹer with wet hands.
14. Never insert foreign objects into thedehumidiïŹer’s openings.
15. Unplug thedehumidiïŹer immediately if it emits strange noises, odours or smoke.
16. Unplug thedehumidiïŹer immediately if it tips over or if it is splashed with water.
Contact aqualiïŹed service technician before using thedehumidiïŹer again.
17. The dehumidiïŹer must not be covered in any way. Make sure that no foreign
objects cover or block theair inlet/outlet. Blockages can lead to ïŹres, electric shocks
or damage to thedehumidiïŹer.
18. Never use thedehumidiïŹer in areas where ïŹ‚ammable liquids/materials or gases
(petrol, solvents, gas cylinders) are stored or used.
