Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any

NOTE:
• The (relative) humidity of air is usually expressed as apercentage and is ameasure
of how much water theair contains at acertain temperature.
• Humidity is low during thewinter/spring. If theappliance does not extract water
from theair it might be because there is not enough humidity for theappliance
to operate.
• The appliance can extract alot of water or avery little water, depending on
thehumidity of theroom.
• If thehumidity of theroom is 40 % and theappliance is set to maintain ahumidity
level of 60 %, theappliance will not remove any moisture (the fan will run but not
thecompressor).
• Contains fluorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol.
Safety
• The dehumidifier must only be connected to a220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet
fitted with anRCD.
• The dehumidifier may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with thedehumidifier.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under
adult supervision.
• The dehumidifier must always stand upright.
• Never sit, cover or place foreign objects on thedehumidifier.
• Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning thedehumidifier on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidification.
• The dehumidifier must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for thefirst
time. The same applies after thethe dehumidifier has been moved or cleaned, etc.
• Make sure that theair filter is clean and correctly fitted before turning
thedehumidifier on.
• Never use thedehumidifier if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or
does not work properly.
