Safety
• If themains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by aqualified tradesman.
• Never expose theheat gun to rain or moisture.
• Never point theheat gun towards people or animals.
• Never block thenozzle by covering it or holding it too close to theobject being heated.
• Harmful or toxic gases can be produced when heating paint or varnish. Makesure
your work area is well-ventilated.
Warning – Fire hazard!
The tool can become afire hazard if used improperly. Pleasetake thefollowing
intoconsideration:
• Be careful when using thetool in thevicinity of flammable materials.
• Do not hold theheat gun over thesame area for along time.
• Never use thetool in an explosive atmosphere.
• Heat can spread and ignite flammable materials which are not within sight.
• Stand theheat gun up after use and let it cool sufficiently before putting it away
forstorage.
• Never leave theheat gun unattended when it is switched on.
• Never use theheat gun for drying clothes or as ahair dryer.
• The high temperatures produced by theheat gun can ignite flammable or
explosivematerials.
