WARNING –
1. This appliance should not be used by, on
or near children or individuals with certain
disabilities.
2. Use appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual. Use only attachments
recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Never operate the appliance if it is not work-
ing properly or has been dropped or damaged.
If appliance has fallen into water, do not
reach for it. Drain the water, let the unit dry, be
sure unit is off and then replace the battery.
4. Do not use the appliance with teeth missing
from the blades, as injury may result. Before
each use, make certain the blades are aligned
properly and oiled.

TROUBLESHOOTING
There are several things to look for if your
trimmer fails to operate:
1. Be sure the trimmer is turned on.
2. Make sure that the battery is properly placed
in the battery compartment. Test the battery to
be sure it is working.
3. Check the blades to see if they are clogged
with hair clippings; if so, use a cleaning brush
to remove hair.
4. If the trimmer still fails to operate,
take or send it to a Conair Service Center
(see Warranty).
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. To insert battery, remove compartment cover
by turning bottom piece of trimmer to the left,
then pulling straight down (Fig. 1).
2. Insert 1 AA battery (not included), positive
terminal downward. (If you are going to use
the device for a long period of time, remove
the battery from the device. This will increase
the battery's life. If the battery is dead, remove
it from the device and replace it with a new
battery.)
3. After inserting the battery, align the arrow

with the notch on battery cover and turn to the
right to align with the circle (Fig. 2).
*Do not use in the shower. To clean, simply
rinse trimmer blade under faucet.
4. Always purchase the correct size and grade
of battery most suitable for the intended use.
5. Clean the battery contacts and also those of
the device prior to battery installation.
6. Ensure the battery is installed correctly with
regard to polarity (+ and -).
7. Store unused batteries in their original
packaging, away from metal objects that could
short-circuit them. Never short-circuit batteries.
8. Never dispose of batteries in fire, except
under conditions of controlled incineration.
Failure to observe this precaution may result in
an explosion. Never attempt to recharge primary
batteries, as this may cause leakage, fire or
explosion.
9. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away
from children.
BATTERY SAFETY
INFORMATION
1. This product requires 1 AA battery.
2. Since batteries are sensitive to high
temperatures, store them in a cool, dry place.
3. Battery contacts need to be clean, both on
the battery and in the appliance, before
installation.
4. Batteries should be removed from the
appliance when not being used for long
periods of time (months).
5. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
6. Be careful and install (+) and (-) to the
correct plus and minus on device.
7. Remove discharged batteries immediately
to avoid leakage.
8. Never put batteries into a fire.
9. Switch off devices after use.
10. Keep batteries away from children,
especially the batteries that are small enough to
ingest.
11. If a battery is ingested, seek immediate
medical help.
12. Never open, crush, puncture or
disassemble batteries.
13. Dispose of batteries according to any
state and local regulations.
14. Do not dispose of batteries as solid waste.
GETTING STARTED
TO TRIM NOSE/EAR HAIR
Using the special circular cutting head for nose
and ears, gently insert the cutting head into the
nostril or ear and move it slightly back and forth
to cut the hair.
NOTE: To trim nose hair, insert trimmer no
deeper than " from entry of nostrils and start ¼
trimming the lower hairs until no longer visible.
To trim ear hair, guide the trimmer around the
outer surface of the ear.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR TRIMMER
BLADE CARE
1. Brush away any loose hair that collects in
the blades.
2. Store trimmer in a safe location.
3. Only use Conair ® blades with this trimmer.
CLEANING YOUR TRIMMER
Make sure trimmer is off.
1. To remove the trimmer head for cleaning,
turn the head counterclockwise until the “I”
mark aligns with the arrow mark, then lift the
head gently (Fig. 3).
2. Rinse the head only under water. For proper
functioning of the unit, the handle cannot touch
or be immersed in water (Fig. 4).
3. After cleaning, make sure to shake the head
dry before reattaching it to the body.
4. To reattach the head onto the body, align the
“I” mark on the head with the arrow mark on
the body and then turn clockwise until the “I”
aligns with the circle mark on the body (Fig. 5).

LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
(U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your
unit free of charge for 24 months from the date
of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed on
back, together with your purchase receipt. California
residents need only provide proof of purchase and
should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping
instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt,
the warranty period shall be 24 months from the
date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR
LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
24-MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN,
LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR
ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY
OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of special, incidental, or
consequential damages, so the above limitation
may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights, which vary from

3. No use este aparato si no funciona
correctamente, si está dañado o después de

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Si el aparato no funciona correctamente:
1. Cerciórese de que el aparato está encendido
(“ON”).
2. Compruebe que la pila est debidamente á
instalada. Pruebe la batería para asegurarse de
que funciona.
3. Revise las cuchillas; de ser necesario,
límpielas, usando el cepillo de limpieza provisto.
4. Si esto no soluciona el problema, devuelva
el aparato a un centro de servicio autorizado
(véase la sección “Garantía”).
INSTRUCCIONES
DE OPERACIÓN
1. Gire la parte inferior de la carcasa hacia
la izquierda para abrir el compartimiento de
la pila (Fig. 1).
2. Instale una pila AA, el polo positivo primero
(hacia abajo). Nota: Saque la pila si no va a

usar el aparato por un largo período de tiempo;
esto alargará su vida. Si la pila está agotada,
sáquela y reemplácela por una pila nueva.
3. Después de instalar la pila, haga coincidir
la flecha con la raya en la tapa y gire hacia la
derecha hasta que la flecha coincida con el
círculo (Fig. 2).
* No lo use en la ducha. Para limpiarlo,
simplemente enjuague la cuchilla en agua
corriente.
4. No use pilas que no sean del tamaño ni de la
potencia indicados para uso con este aparato.
5. Limpie los contactos del aparato y los de la
pila antes de instalarla.
6. Siempre respete los signos de polaridad al
instalar las pilas (+/-).
7. Guarde las pilas nuevas en su paquete
original, lejos de objetos metálicos, los cuales
pueden provocar un cortocircuito. Nunca
cortocircuite la(s) pila(s).
8. Nunca tire las pilas al fuego, excepto
mediante incineración controlada; esto puede
causar una explosión. Nunca intente cargar
pilas no recargables; esto presenta un riesgo de
pérdida de electrolito, incendio o explosión.
9. Este aparato no es un juguete; manténgalo
fuera del alcance de los niños.

para ser ingeridas.
11. En caso de ingestión de una pila, busque
atención médica inmediata.
12. Nunca abra, aplaste, perfore o desmonte
las pilas.
13. Deseche de las pilas de acuerdo con las
regulaciones estatales y locales.
14. No tire las baterías con el resto de la
basura.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
BÁSICO
CÓMO CORTAR EL PELO EN
LA NARIZ/LAS OREJAS
Instale el cabezal circular para la nariz y las
orejas. Con cuidado, introduzca la punta del
cabezal en la nariz o la oreja, y mueva la unidad
ligeramente de un lado para otro para cortar el
vello.
NOTA: Para cortar el vello en la nariz,
introduzca el cabezal en la entrada de la nariz,
no más profundo de in. (0.5 cm), y corte el ¼
vello de abajo hasta que p2-ya no se note.
Para cortar el vello en la oreja, guíe el
recortador alrededor de la superficie externa de
la oreja.
MANTENIMIENTO DE SU
RECORTADOR
CUIDADO DE LAS CUCHILLAS
1. Limpie las cuchillas después de cada uso,
usando el cepillo de limpieza provisto.
2. Guarde el aparato en un lugar seguro.
3. Use solamente cuchillas Conair® con este
aparato.
LIMPIEZA DEL RECORTADOR
Cerciórese de que el aparato está apagado.
1. Para sacar el cabezal, gírelo en sentido
antihorario hasta que la marca coincida con “I”
la flecha (Fig. 3) y jale suavemente el cabezal.
2. Enjuague el cabezal en agua. No permita que
la carcasa del aparato tenga contacto con agua
(Fig. 4).
3. Después de limpiar el cabezal, sacúdalo para
secarlo y vuelva a instalarlo.
4. Vuelva a instalar el cabezal, haciendo
coincidir la marca con la flecha. Para sujetar “I”
el cabezal, gírelo en sentido horario hasta que
la marca coincida con el círculo (Fig. 5).“I”
