When using electrical appliances, especially when
children are present, basic safety precautions
should always be taken, including the following:

1. Always unplug this appliance immediately
after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall

5. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen
into water or other liquids. Unplug immediately.

5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
6. To avoid burning, do not pick up the unit while
water is hot, because water can spill out.
7. Never block the air openings of the appliance or
place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch,
where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the
air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
8. Never use while sleeping.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening.
10. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where oxy-
gen is being administered.
11. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
12. Unplug this appliance before filling. Fill
reservoir with distilled water only. Do not fill
above the MAX fill line.
13. Use the Facial Sauna only on a level surface.
14. Do not use additives.
15. To avoid burning, do not touch after
turning the unit ON.
16. The steam from the Facial Sauna is very
hot. Always close your eyes before using.
17. Never hold this Facial Sauna close to your face
in one position, as this may cause scalding.
18. Do not use the sauna without the mask/cone.
19. Do not place hand on the base.
20. Do not touch steam as it comes out of the base.
21. Do not move or pick up the unit until the
water cools.
22. Do not handle plug with wet hands. Ensure your
hands are dry when operating the controls.
23. To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF posi-
tion, then remove plug from outlet.
24. To prevent scalding, never add boiling or
steaming water to the unit.
25. This appliance is for household use only.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
If you have any skin condition, sensitivity to heat, or
other health issues or questions, including those
relating to the use of this product while undergoing
any treatments or taking any medications, please
consult with a physician before use.
This product should not be used in the following cases:
Tuberculosis, diabetes, benign and malignant
tumors, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and
thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises,
broken skin or varicose veins.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING YOUR
FACIAL SAUNA SYSTEM
Before beginning, cleanse your face, following
your daily care routine. Lightly pat you skin dry
before turning on the Facial Sauna.
USING YOUR FACIAL
STEAMING UNIT
• Your Facial Sauna includes a detachable facial
cone.
• To detach facial cone, turn it counterclockwise
and lift it away from water reservoir.
• Using a measuring cup, fill the reservoir with cool
or warm distilled water up to
the MAX fill line. Plug unit
into a 120 volt AC household
outlet. (See Figure 1.)
• Place facial cone over unit.
Lock by aligning bumps on
facial cone with slots on
water reservoir and turn clockwise.
(See Figure 2.)
• Press ON/OFF button to turn
unit on.
• When the power is on, the
ready indicator light will flash
for 3 minutes as the water is
preheating.
• When steam starts to come
out, you may use the Facial Sauna.
• Normally, treatment should not last longer than
10–15 minutes . Shut off and unplug the unit
immediately .

NOTE: One fill provides between 10 and 20
minutes of soothing mist. If the Facial Sauna
should run out of water, shut off immediately,
unplug unit, refill with distilled water, then begin
your facial again.
• Use your Facial Sauna to cleanse and hydrate
you skin.
• Allow approximately 3 to 4 minutes for steam mist
to develop, then place your face in a comfortable
position close to, but not touching the rim of the
facial mask/cone. To avoid burning, do not pick up
the unit while water is hot, because water will spill
out.
• If more steam is desired, place a towel over your
head so that it covers the mask/cone and sides
of the steamer.
• Close your eyes and relax as the soothing mist
begins its deep cleansing action.
• Remove your face occasionally and blot with
a cool, damp towel. Steam for a minimum of
5 minutes, but no longer than 30 minutes.
• The unit will automatically shut off after 20
minutes and the red indicator light will turn off.
• Immediately after steaming, rinse your face with
cool water.
SPECIAL PAMPERING TIPS
FOR DELICATE AREAS
THE EYE AREA
• Give special care to the eye area during your
personal facial by lightly massaging additional
moisturizer or eye cream on eyelids and under
your eyes before you begin.
THE NECK AND THROAT
• Apply your favorite moisturizer to your entire face.
• Mist your face for only 5 minutes, following
Instructions for Using Your Facial Sauna System.
• Tilt your head backward, so your throat is approx-
imately 2 inches from the facial mask/cone.
• Mist your throat for 2 minutes. For best results,
accelerate moisturizing process by gently turning
neck from side to side.
SPECIAL USES
• Consult your physician or dermatologist
for instructions on how to best use the Facial
Sauna System for your specific condition.
USER-MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
Caring for Your Facial Sauna
After completing your facial:
• Always turn off and unplug your Facial Sauna
from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• Let cool, then empty excess water and wipe dry
the interior of the facial mask/cone and rim
around the opening.
• Wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth, then
polish lightly with a dry one. NEVER IMMERSE THE
FACIAL SAUNA IN WATER.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
Return it to our Service Center with sales receipt.
• Allow attachments to air-dry throughly before
reusing. Clean the unit with a damp cloth only.
Do not immerse in water.
CAUTION
Never allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted or severely bent. Never wrap the cord tightly
around the unit. Damage will occur at the high flex
point of entry into the unit, causing it to rupture and
short circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for dam-
age. Stop use immediately if damage is visible
or unit stops or operates intermittently.
If cord or unit is damaged or does not operate prop-
erly, return it for repair to an authorized Conair
Service Center only. No repairs should be attempted
by the consumer.
The Facial Sauna System is for household use only.
STORAGE – Important
When not in use, your unit should be disconnected
and stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of
children. Do not wrap line cord around unit. Allow
the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the
point of entry into the unit.

Everyone knows that electricity and water are
a dangerous combination. But did you know
that an electrical appliance is still electrically
live even if the switch is off? If the plug is in,
the power is on. So when you are not using
your appliances, keep them unplugged.

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit
free of charge for 12 months from the date of pur-
chase if the appliance is defective in workmanship
or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed,
together with your purchase receipt. California
residents need only provide proof of purchase and
should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping
instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the
warranty period shall be 12 months from the date of
manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS,
OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A

Al usar aparatos eléctricos, especialmente en

1. Siempre desenchufe el aparato
inmediatamente después del uso.

caerse o ser empujado a una bañera o un
lavabo.
4. No coloque el aparato ni lo deje caer al agua u
otro líquido.
5. No trate de alcanzar el aparato después de
que se haya caído en agua o en otro líquido;
desenchúfelo inmediatamente.

1. Nunca descuide/deje el aparato sin vigilancia

10. No use este producto en exteriores, ni lo haga
funcionar donde se estén usando productos en
aerosol (spray) o donde se esté administrando

11. No use un cable alargador/de extensión con
este aparato.
12. Desenchufe el aparato antes de llenar el
depósito de agua. Llene el depósito con agua
destilada solamente. No llene el depósito más
allá de la línea de llenado “MAX”.
13. Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie
nivelada.

aparato después de encenderlo.
16. El vapor generado por el vaporizador/sauna
facial es muy caliente. Por lo tanto,
siempre cierre los ojos antes de acercar la

misma posición por un tiempo prolongado.

El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe
polarizado (una pata es más ancha que la otra).
Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de
una sola manera en la toma de corriente
polarizada. Si no entra en la toma de corriente,
inviértalo. Si aun así no entra completamente,
comuníquese con un electricista. No intente
modificar esta función de seguridad.
Si padece de una condición dermatológica, es
sensible al calor o tiene alguna pregunta acerca
del uso de este aparato mientras está bajo
tratamiento médico o tomando medicina, pida
consejo a su médico antes del uso.
No use este producto si usted padece de
cualquiera de los problemas siguientes:
Tuberculosis, diabetes, tumor benigno o maligno,
inflamación de la piel, flebitis o trombosis, heridas
abiertas o nuevas, moretones, úlceras/cortaduras/
ampollas o venas varicosas.
MODO DE EMPLEO DE SU
VAPORIZADOR/SAUNA FACIAL
Antes de empezar, limpie su cara como lo hace
todos los días. Seque ligeramente su piel antes de
encender la unidad.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO DE SU
VAPORIZADOR/SAUNA FACIAL
• Su vaporizador/sauna facial incluye un cono
facial removible.
• Para retirar el cono, gírelo en sentido antihorario
y retírelo del depósito de agua.
• Con un vaso medidor, llene
el depósito con agua
destilada fría o tibia hasta
la línea de llenado MAX.
Enchufe la unidad
en una
toma de corriente de 120 V
AC (Fig. 1).

• Coloque el cono facial en la
unidad. Alinee los resaltes
en el cono facial con las
ranuras en el depósito de
agua y gire en sentido
horario para sujetar (Fig. 2).
• Oprima el botón de
encendido/apagado para encender
la unidad.
• El indicador luminoso parpadeará por 3 minutos,
mientras el agua se está calentando.
• Cuando empiece a salir vapor, puede usar el
vaporizador/sauna facial.
• En términos generales, un tratamiento no
debería exceder 10 a 15 minutos. Apague y
desenchufe la unidad inmediatamente.
NOTA: Un depósito lleno proporciona una
autonomía de 10 a 20 minutos de vapor. Si se
acaba el agua antes del final del tratamiento,
apague inmediatamente la unidad, desenchúfela y
añada más agua antes de continuar.
• Use su vaporizador/sauna facial para limpiar e
hidratar la piel.
• Permita que el agua se caliente por 3 a 4
minutos. Cuando empiece a salir vapor, arrime
la cara contra el borde del cono facial, sin
tocarlo. Para evitar las quemaduras, no mueva
la unidad mientras el agua está caliente.
• Si desea más vapor, coloque una toalla encima
de su cabeza de manera que esta cubra el cono
y los costados de la unidad.
• Cierre los ojos y relájese mientras el vapor
limpia profundamente la piel.
• De vez en cuando, aleje su cara y seque la piel
sin frotar con una toalla ligeramente húmeda y
fresca. El tratamiento debería durar un mínimo
de 5 minutos, y un máximo de 30 minutos.
• La unidad y el indicador luminoso se apagarán
automáticamente después de aprox. 20
minutos.
• Inmediatamente después del tratamiento,
enjuague la cara con agua fresca.
CONSEJOS ESPECIALES
PARA LAS ÁREAS DELICADAS
ÁREA DE LOS OJOS
Tenga un cuidado especial con el área de los ojos.
Aplique loción hidratante o crema para los ojos en
los párpados y debajo de los ojos, y masajee
suavemente antes del tratamiento.
CUELLO
• Aplique su loción hidratante favorita en toda la
cara.
• Exponga la cara al vapor por solo 5 minutos,
según se describe en la sección “Modo de
empleo de su vaporizador/sauna facial”.
• Incline la cabeza hacia atrás, de tal manera que
su cuello se encuentre a aprox. 2 in. (5 cm) del
vaporizador facial.
• Exponga el cuello al vapor por 2 minutos. Para
conseguir resultados óptimos, acelere el
proceso de hidratación girando lentamente la
cabeza de lado a lado durante el tratamiento.
USOS ESPECIALES
• Pida consejo a su médico o dermatólogo acerca
de cómo usar el vaporizador/sauna facial para
su condición médica.

Limpieza
Después del tratamiento:
• Siempre apague y desenchufe la unidad antes
de limpiarla.
• Permita que se enfríe, vacíe el agua restante en
el depósito de agua y seque el interior y la orilla
del cono facial.
• Limpie la base con un paño húmedo, y luego
séquela con un paño seco. NUNCA SUMERJA EL
VAPORIZADOR/SAUNA FACIAL EN AGUA.
• No intente reparar la unidad. En caso de
problema, devuélvala a un centro de servicio
autorizado, junto con el recibo de compra.
• Permita que los accesorios se sequen al aire
antes de usarlos otra vez. Limpie la unidad con
un paño húmedo solamente. No la sumerja en
agua.
PRECAUCIÓN
Nunca jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable.
Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del aparato;
esto puede dañar la junta flexible que lo conecta
al aparato, produciendo su rotura o un
cortocircuito. Revise el cable con frecuencia para
comprobar que no está dañado. Deje de usar la
unidad inmediatamente si el cable está
visiblemente dañado, o si la unidad deja de
funcionar, o funciona de manera intermitente.
Si el cable o la unidad están dañados, o si la
unidad no funciona correctamente, devuélvala a
un centro de servicio autorizado; no trate de
repararla.

ALMACENAMIENTO –
Importante
Después del uso, desenchufe la unidad, permita
que se enfríe y guárdela en un lugar seco y
seguro, fuera del alcance de los niños. No enrolle
el cable alrededor de la unidad. Permita que el
cable cuelgue, o que la junta que lo conecta a la
unidad esté suelta y recta.
