HEATING PAD COMPONENTS
• Machine Washable Cloth Cover (Figure 1)
• Heating Pad (Figure 2)
• Absorbent Cloth (Figure 3)
• Consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
• Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any
area of the body that is swollen, burned, bruised, inflamed or where skin
eruptions, ulcerated sores or varicose veins are present.
• This product should never be used by any individual suffering from any
ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or
have any sensation in the body part that this product is being used for.
• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing
the plug.
• This product does not have an automatic off feature. Slide switch to OFF
when done.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the heating pad, insert the heating pad completely into the cloth cover
with the electric cord extending out from the cloth cover (Figure 4). If moist heat is
desired, follow instructions in the Moist Heat Treatment section.
Cautions:
• The cloth cover must always be used with the heating pad. An absorbent
cloth is provided for moist heat application.
• This heating pad should not be used in the following cases: If you have
diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis and thrombosis,
hemorrhages, inflammation of the skin, undetermined calf pain or joint pain,
or if you have poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have
any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.
• Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions
regarding use of this heating pad.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a
serious muscular injury before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs
after application.
• Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry area.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DRY HEAT TREATMENT
This heating pad comes assembled (Figure 4).
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
1. Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC
electrical outlet.
2. Slide the switch to ON. The power indicator light will
illuminate to signal that the heating pad is on.
3. Place heating pad on top of the area to
be treated.
4. When treatment is done, slide the switch to
OFF and unplug. This unit does have NOTE: not
an auto-off feature! Do not use or store heating pad
in a folded position. Use and store lying flat.

ENSAMBLAJE
Meta la almohadilla en la funda de tela, hasta el fondo, dejando que el cable salga
de la funda (Fig. 4). Si desea usar calor húmedo, siga la instrucciones de la sección
TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR HÚMEDO.
Precauciones:
• Nunca use la almohadilla sin la funda de tela. La tela interior incluida sirve para los
tratamientos con calor húmedo.
• No use este producto si usted padece de cualquiera de los problemas siguientes:
Diabetes, tuberculosis, tumor benigno o maligno, flebitis, trombosis, hemorragia,
inflamación de la piel, dolores en las articulaciones sin causa determinada o mala
circulación de la sangre. Pida consejo a su médico antes de usarlo en caso de
hongo, hinchazón, fractura o dolor persistente.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR SECO
Esta almohadilla térmica viene completamente ensamblada (Fig. 4)
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha
que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola manera
en la toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entra en la toma de corriente, inviértalo.
Si aún no entra completamente, comuníquese con un electricista. No intente ir en
contra de esta función de seguridad.
1. Conecte el cable a una toma de corriente de 120 V
AC.
2. Deslice el botón de encendido/apagado hacia "ON".
El indicador luminoso se encenderá para indicar que
la almohadilla se está calentando.
3. Coloque la almohadilla en el área que desea tratar.
4. Después de terminar, deslice el botón de encendido/
apagado hacia "OFF" para apagar. Importante: Este
producto no se apaga automáticamente.
5. Nunca doble la almohadilla térmica. Úsela y guárdela
en posición abierta/plana.

MOIST HEAT TREATMENT
1. Ensure heating pad is unplugged.
2. Wet the absorbent cloth and squeeze out excess water.
3. Insert the damp cloth between the heating pad and the cloth cover.
4. Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. Slide the switch to ON. The power indicator light will illuminate to signal that
the heating pad is on.
6. Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
7. When treatment is done, press the ON/OFF button to turn unit off and unplug.
For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
8. After use, dry the cloth cover, absorbent cloth and the heating pad
before storing.
NOTE: This heating pad does not shut off automatically. During use, check
skin under heating pad frequently. Do not leave heating pad unattended.
After use, dry the cloth cover, inner cloth and the heating pad before storing.

(U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for
36 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product
to the service center listed together with your purchase receipt.
California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should
call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 36 months from the date of
manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 36-MONTH DURATION
OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow
