OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This curling wand is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This
unit is designed to be operated at 120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will ïŹt in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not ïŹt fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not ïŹt, contact a qualiïŹed
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.
STYLING WITH THE NEW TOURMALINE
CERAMIC EASY-GLIDE BARREL
The barrel of your new curling wand has a
tourmaline ceramic easy-glide surface, the
newest technology. This means it’s not only
simpler to clean off styling product residue, etc.,
after each use, but you’ll ïŹnd that hair glides
easily over the surface of the barrel as you’re
curling. The tourmaline ceramic surface also
helps smooth down ïŹ‚yaways and frizzies.
It evenly distributes heat so that the style you
create has a salon-perfect, silky smooth, shiny
ïŹnish. Hair also slips right off the barrel after
it’s curled.
The new tourmaline ceramic technology is a
pleasure to work with and makes styling your
hair easier and the results more professional.
GETTING STARTED
SWITCH ACTIVATION CONTROL
IMPORTANT! This appliance features delayed
activation control. Immediately after turning the
appliance on, you are able to adjust the
temperature. After 5 seconds of the appliance
being turned on, the control buttons will
automatically lock. To adjust the controls, hold
down the heat control buttons "HIGH" or "LOW"
button for 1-2 seconds. This will deactivate the
lock mode and allow the settings to be changed.
To turn off the appliance while in lock mode,
hold down the ON/OFF button until the appliance
switches off.
Plug the wand cord into any household outlet
(120V). Press and hold the ON/OFF button for
approximately 1 second to turn the appliance
on. The unit will heat up very quickly. Press HIGH
or LOW button to select your desired
temperature. Once the temperature has stopped
blinking on the LED, the unit is ready to use. To
turn unit off, press and hold the power
ON/OFF button again until light goes off.
WARNING: The wand’s barrel will get very
hot within a few seconds and should not be
placed in contact with the skin after the
wand has been turned on.
The wand’s unique 5 ultra-high heat
temperature settings and instant heat
technology provide styling versatility for all hair
types. If you have ïŹne hair, a low temperature
will provide the best results. If you have thick,
wavy or hard-to-curl hair, keep the heat setting
on high. You can vary the wand’s temperature
according to your particular need!

TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry before
using the curling wand. Section dry hair evenly
and comb each section before winding.
For best results, use a light styling product
before blow-drying hair.
1. Take a 1-in.-wide section of hair, starting
2 inches from the scalp.
2. Wind the section of hair around the barrel
toward the cool tip. If using the tapered barrel,
start winding hair at the thicker portion of
the barrel.
3. Hold the ends of the hair in place at the cool
tip for 5 to 8 seconds, depending on hair type,
and then release. No clamp allows you to easily
curl hair without kinks. For tighter, bouncier
curls, roll less hair. For loose, free-ïŹ‚owing curls,
roll more hair. To set the curl, do not comb or
brush hair until it cools.
4. Repeat process on additional sections of hair
until you achieve the hairstyle you desire.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this curling wand. After using the wand
several times, you will learn the ideal way to
curl and style your hair.
NOTE: Never leave your curling wand on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn
the wand off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your curling wand is virtually maintenance free.
No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the unit from
the power source, allow to cool and wipe
exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal condition
occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and
return it for repair to an Authorized Service
Center only. No repairs should be attempted by
the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the appliance. Damage will occur
at the high flex point of entry into the appliance,
causing it to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the

STORAGE

Para uso domĂ©stico solamente. Úselo solamente
con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este aparato p2-ha
sido diseñado para funcionar con corriente de

El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe
polarizado (una pata es mĂĄs ancha que la otra).
Como medida de seguridad, se podrĂĄ enchufar
de una sola manera en la toma de corriente
polarizada. Si no entra en la toma de corriente,
inviértalo. Si aun así no entra completamente,
comunĂ­quese con un electricista. No intente
modificar esta funciĂłn de seguridad.

el cabello se desliza fĂĄcilmente sobre el

de peinado son muy fåciles de limpiar después
de cada uso. El revestimiento de cerĂĄmica/
turmalina también ayuda a controlar la eståtica
y el frizz. Distribuye el calor uniformemente,
para crear peinados sedosos y brillantes, igual
que en el salĂłn. AdemĂĄs, no retiene el cabello
después de rizarlo.
Es un placer trabajar con esta nueva tecnologĂ­a,
pues facilita el peinado y logra resultados

FUNCIONAMIENTO
BÁSICO
FUNCIÓN DE BLOQUEO DE LA TEMPERATURA
ÂĄIMPORTANTE! Este aparato cuenta con una
funciĂłn de bloqueo de la temperatura. PodrĂĄ
ajustar la temperatura solamente
inmediatamente después de encender el
aparato. Después de 5 segundos, los controles
se bloquearĂĄn automĂĄticamente. Para ajustar la
temperatura después de este tiempo, mantenga
presionados los botones HIGH y LOW por 1 a 2
segundos; esto desactivarĂĄ el modo de bloqueo
y permitirĂĄ ajustar la temperatura. Para apagar
el aparato mientras estĂĄ en el modo de bloqueo,
mantenga presionado el botĂłn ON/OFF por 1 a
2 segundos.
Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente de
120V. Mantenga presionado el botón ON/OFF
por aprox. 1 segundo para encender lel aparato.
El aparato se calentarĂĄ muy rĂĄpidamente. Elija
la temperatura deseada, presionando el botĂłn
HIGH (alto) o LOW (bajo). Cuando el indicador
luminoso del botĂłn de temperatura usado deje
de parpadear,el aparato estĂĄ listo para su uso.
Para apagar el aparato, mantenga presionado el
botĂłn ON/OFF hasta que el indicador luminoso
se apague.
ADVERTENCIA: El tubo se pone muy caliente
en segundos; evite el contacto con la piel
después de encender el aparato.
Este aparato cuenta con calentamiento
instantĂĄneo y 5 opciones de temperatura ultra
alta para proporcionar mayor versatilidad,
cualquiera que sea su tipo de cabello. Si su
cabello es fino/delgado, se recomienda usar el
ajuste de temperatura bajo para conseguir
mejores resultados. Si su cabello es espeso,
grueso, ondulado o resistente, se recomienda

CÓMO RIZAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Divida el
cabello seco en secciones uniformes y peine
cada secciĂłn.
Para obtener resultados Ăłptimos, aplique
una lociĂłn fijadora ligera en el cabello antes
de secarlo.
1.. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1 i
(2.5 cm).
2.. Empezando a 2 in. (5 cm) del cue
cabelludo, enrolle el cabello alrededor del tubo,
hacia la punta aislante. Cuando use el tubo
cĂłnico, empiece a enrollar el cabello en el lado
mĂĄs grueso del tubo.
3.. Sostenga el cabello por las puntas por 5 a
segundos (segĂșn el tipo de cabello), y luego
desenrolle suavemente el cabello. Siempre
obtendrĂĄ hermosos resultados, fĂĄcil y
rĂĄpidamente. Para obtener rizos apretados y
elĂĄsticos, enrolle secciones mĂĄs delgadas. Para
obtener rizos sueltos y naturales, divida
el cabello en secciones mĂĄs gruesas/anchas.
Permita que el cabello se enfrĂ­e antes de
peinarlo para “fijar” los rizos.
4.. Repita el proceso en cada secciĂłn de cabell
hasta conseguir el estilo deseado.
Nota: SerĂĄ necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con prĂĄctica, encontrarĂĄ la manera
perfecta para rizar su cabello fĂĄcil y
rĂĄpidamente.
NOTA: Nunca descuide/deje el aparato sin
vigilancia después de encenderlo. Para su
seguridad, el aparato se apagarĂĄ
automåticamente después de 60 minutos.

INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.
No requiere lubricaciĂłn. Mantenga todos los
orificios de ventilaciĂłn y aberturas libres de
polvos y pelusas. Cuando sea necesario
limpiarlo, desenchĂșfelo, permita que se enfrĂ­e,
y limpie la carcasa con un paño humedecido.
En caso de mal funcionamiento, desenchufe el
aparato, permita que se enfríe y devuélvalo a
un centro de servicio autorizado. No trate de
repararlo.
PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable.
Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del
aparato; esto puede dañar la junta flexible que
lo conecta al aparato, produciendo su rotura o
un cortocircuito. Revise el cable con frecuencia
para comprobar que no estå dañado. Deje de
usar el aparato inmediatamente si el cable estĂĄ
visiblemente dañado o si el aparato deja de
funcionar, o funciona de manera intermitente.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Cuando no esté en uso, este aparato es fåcil de
almacenar. Permita que se enfrĂ­e y guĂĄrdelo en
un lugar seco y seguro, fuera del alcance de los
niños. No tironee ni retuerza el cable al nivel del
enchufe. No enrolle el cable alrededor del
aparato. Permita que el cable cuelgue, o que la
junta que lo conecta al aparato esté suelta y
recta.
