With the help of a pipe sleeve immersed in a pipeline/boiler, the probe of the

thermostat directly detects the temperature of the material stagnating or

flowing in the pipe/boiler and, in response to a temperature change, it

provides a potential-free electrical closing/opening contact at the adjusted

temperature. At a temperature below the adjusted value the output terminals

C1and are closed while the output terminals C2and are open. At a tempera-

ture above the adjusted value the output terminals and C1 are open while the

output terminals and are closed.C2
