Oven. We are sure you will ďŹnd your new appliance a
pleasure to use and a great asset to your cooking. Before
you use the appliance, we recommend that you read through
the whole user manual which provides a description of the
product and its functions.
To avoid the risks that are always present when you use
a cooking appliance, it is important that the appliance is
installed correctly and that you read the safety instructions
carefully to avoid misuse and hazards. For future reference,
please store this booklet in a safe place. This appliance
complies to the requirements of Australian Standard
AS/NZS 60335.2.6

Important â check for any damage or marks
If you ďŹnd the appliance is damaged or marked, you must
report it within 7 days if you wish to claim for damage/marks
under the manufacturerâs warranty. This does not
affect your statutory rights.
ENVIRONMENTAL TIPS
Information on disposal for users
⢠Most of the packaging materials are recyclable. Please
dispose of those materials by contacting your local
authorities and ask for the correct method of disposal.
WARNING
AN IMPORTANT READ TO AVOID AN ELECTRIC
SHOCK OR FIRE
⢠The appliance is NOT suitable for use by children
without supervision.
⢠Young children should be supervised to ensure they
do not play with this appliance.
⢠This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
⢠During use this appliance becomes hot. Care should be
taken to avoid touching hot external and internal surfaces
when in use. Use oven gloves. Children should be kept
away to avoid burns and scalds.
⢠This appliance must NOT be used as a space heater.
⢠DO NOT spray aerosols in the vicinity of this appliance
while it is in operation.
⢠DO NOT store ďŹammable materials in the appliance or
near this appliance, e.g. aerosols.
⢠Ensure all speciďŹed vents, openings and airspaces are
not blocked in order to avoid a ďŹre.
⢠DO NOT line the bottom of the oven or grill with foil or
cookware. This will damage the enamel.
⢠DO NOT MODIFY THIS APPLIANCE.
OVEN WARNINGS
⢠During use the appliance becomes hot. Care should be
taken to avoid touching hot surfaces inside the oven.
⢠To avoid an accident, ensure that oven shelves and ďŹttings
are always inserted into the appliance in accordance with
the instructions.
⢠Do not use the door as a shelf.
⢠Do not push down on the open oven door.
⢠In order to avoid overheating, the appliance must not
be installed behind a decorative door.
⢠The cooking process has to be supervised. A short term
cooking process has to be supervised continuously.
⢠Switch the appliance off before removing the oven light
glass for globe replacement.
GRILL WARNINGS
⢠Accessible parts may become hot when grill is in use.
Children should be kept away.
⢠DO NOT leave grill on unattended.
⢠The grill door must be left fully open whilst grilling
in a separate grill wall oven.
⢠Always turn the grill off immediately after use as fat left
there may catch ďŹre.
⢠Do not cover the grill dish insert with foil as fat left there
may catch ďŹre.
⢠Always keep the grill dish clean as any fat left there may
catch ďŹre.
⢠To avoid a ďŹre, ensure that grill trays and accessories
are always inserted into the appliance in accordance
with the instructions.
⢠Do not place thick portions of food under the grill.
Foods may curl, catch and ignite.
INSTALLATION, CLEANING AND SERVICING
⢠Only authorised personnel must install and carry out
servicing of this appliance (CertiďŹcate of Compliance
to be retained).
⢠Before using the appliance, ensure that all packaging
materials are removed from the appliance.
⢠In order to avoid any potential hazard, the installation
instructions must be followed.
⢠Ensure that all speciďŹed vents, openings and airspaces
are not blocked.
⢠Where the appliance is built into a cabinet, the cabinet
material must be capable of withstanding 70°C.
⢠Always ensure the appliance is switched off before
cleaning or replacing parts.
⢠Do not use steam cleaners as this may cause moisture
build up.
⢠Always clean the appliance immediately after any
food spillage.
⢠To maintain safe operation, it is recommended that
the product be inspected every ďŹve years by an
authorised service person.
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.
