Kitchen/Prep Pull-Down Faucet Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT: Read all instructions prior to installation and provide copy of instructions to consumer.
Operating Specifications:
Recommended Supply Pressure: 20 to 70 psi
*†
* Operating pressures between hot and cold supplies should vary no more than 30 psi.
† If water pressure exceeds 70 psi, install a Pressure-Reducing Valve (PRV).
INSTALLING TO SINK/DECK
•Place BASE () with O-RING () onto BODY () 231
•Slide INLET HOSES () and SPRAY-HOSE () through 45
sink/deck hole
NOTE: Sink/deck recommended hole size is Ø1-3/8”
•From underside slide SPACER (), if necessary, and 6
NUT (onto SHANK (); loosely tighten NUT () 7) 1a7
•Position BODY () with handle on right side and 1
securely tighten NUT () 7
CALIFORNIA FAUCETS RECOMMENDS THAT ALL PLUMBING PRODUCTS BE INSTALLED
BY A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL

WATER CONNECTIONS
•Tighten red colored nut on HOT INLET HOSE () to 4a
HOT SUPPLY () 9a
•Tighten blue colored nut on COLD INLET HOSE (4b)
to COLD SUPPLY () 9b
•Ensure that faucet HANDLE () is in closed position as 10
shown (straight up)
•Turn on and SUPPLY VALVES () HOTCOLD9
•Place BUCKET () (not supplied) under MIX HOSE 11

•Slowly open HANDLE () on faucet and cycle through 10
cold and hot water until water runs clear

IMPORTANT: Water supplies MUST be flushed before running
water through SPRAYHEAD (); the following procedure will ensure 8
debris removal

FINAL CONNECTIONS
•Tighten CHECK ASSEMBLY () onto end of MIX 13
HOSE () 12
•Attach SPRAY-HOSE () onto end of CHECK 5
ASSEMBLY () 13
CHECK ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE
oDisconnect CHECK ASSEMBLY () from 13
SPRAY-HOSE and MIX HOSE () 12
oUnscrew UPPER HOUSING (), 13a
remove both CHECK VALVES () by 13b
gently pushing through hole in LOWER
HOUSING () 13c
oRinse both CHECK VALVES () with 13b
clean water
oAssemble CHECK VALVES () into 13b
LOWER HOUSING () using plumbers 13c
grease on orings as needed
oApply thin film of plumber’s grease to
HOUSING O-RING () and tighten 13d
UPPER HOUSING () onto LOWER 13a
HOUSING () 13c
oAttach CHECK ASSEMBLY () to MIX 13
HOSE () 12
ATTACHING WEIGHT
•Separate FEMALE WEIGHT () and MALE WEIGHT 14a
() sections by loosening SCREWS () 14b14c
•Place FEMALE WEIGHT () at lowest straight point 14a
on SPRAY-HOSE () just above curve of hose 5
•Secure MALE WEIGHT () onto SPRAY-HOSE () by 14b5
tightening both SCREWS ( 14c)

IMPORTANT: The placement of WEIGHT () shall be at the 14
lowest portion of the SPRAY-HOSE ( 5).
IMPORTANT: The area below hose/weight must be clear of all
items.
