Kitchen/Prep Pull-Down Faucet Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT: Read all instructions prior to installation and provide copy of instructions to consumer.
Operating Specifications:
Recommended Supply Pressure: 20 to 70 psi
*†
* Operating pressures between hot and cold supplies should vary no more than 30 psi.
† If water pressure exceeds 70 psi, install a Pressure-Reducing Valve (PRV).
INSTALLING TO SINK/DECK
•Place BASE with O-RING onto BODY (2)(3)(1)
•Slide INLET HOSES and SPRAY-HOSE (4) (5)
through sink/deck hole
•From underside slide SPACER , in necessary, (6a)
MOUNT and NUT onto SHANK (6)(7)(1a);
loosely tighten NUT (7)
•From topside position BODY with handle on (1)
right side as shown and from underside securely
tighten NUT (7)
Position MOUNT (6)
to prevent rubbing of
SPRAYER HOSE (5)
CALIFORNIA FAUCETS RECOMMENDS THAT ALL PLUMBING PRODUCTS BE INSTALLED
BY A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL
Ø1-3/8”
IMPORTANT:The recommended sink/deck through-hole shall
be 1-Ø3/8”. Maximum sink/deck thickness should no greater than
2-1/4”
IMPORTANT: Based on sink/deck thickness the use of SPACER
(6a)needs to be determined. If thickness is LESS than ½” use
SPACER (6a), if GREATER than ½” use only MOUNT (6).
IMPORTANT: Position MOUNT so that SPRAY-HOSE (6)(5)
does NOT rub against MOUNT when SPRAYHEAD (6)(8) is
pulled.

WATER CONNECTIONS
•Tighten colored nut on red HOT INLET HOSE ()4a
to SUPPLY HOT ()9a
•Tighten colored nut on INLET HOSE blue COLD
()()4b to SUPPLY COLD 9b
•Ensure that faucet HANDLE is in closed ()10
position as shown (straight up)
•Turn on and SUPPLIES HOT COLD ()9a& ()9b
•Place BUCKET (not supplied) under SHANK (11)

•Slowly open HANDLE on faucet and cycle ()10
through cold and hot water until water runs clear

IMPORTANT:The water supplies MUST be flush of all debris
prior to running water through the faucets SPRAYHEAD ; the (8)
following procedure will ensure debris removal.

FINAL CONNECTIONS
•Tighten CHECK ASSEMBLY onto end of ()12
SHANK (1a)
•Attach SPRAY-HOSE onto end of CHECK (5)
ASSEMBLY ()12
CHECK ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE
oDisconnect CHECK ASSEMBLY from ()12
SPRAY-HOSE and SHANK (5)(1a)
oUnscrew UPPER HOUSING , remove ()12a
both CHECK VALVES by gently pushing (12b)
through hole in LOWER HOUSING ()12c
oFlush both CHECK VALVES clean water ()12b
oAssemble CHECK VALVES back into ()12b
LOWER HOUSING ()12c
oApply thin film on plumbers grease to
HOUSING O-RING before assembling (12d)
UPPER and LOWER HOUSING ()12a& ()12c
and securely tighten
oEnsure that UPPER O-RING is in place (12e)
before attaching CHECK ASSEMBLY onto ()12
SHANK (1a)
WEIGHT ATTACHMENT
•Separate FEMALE and MALE WEIGHT ()13a&
()()13b by loosening SCREWS 13c
•Place FEMALE WEIGHT at lowest portion of (13a)
SPRAY-HOSE just above curve of hose (5)
•Secure MALE WEIGHT onto SPRAY-HOSE (13b)
(5)() by tightening both SCREWS 13c
KEEP AREA
CLEAR ITEMS of
IMPORTANT: Both CHECK VALVES must be placed (12b)
into the LOWER HOUSING in the water flow direction as shown
(o-ring on the top side) and ensure that plumbers grease is applied
to o-ring.
IMPORTANT:The placement of WEIGHT shall be at the (13)
lowest portion of the SPRAY-HOSE (5). The area below
hose/weight needs to be cleared of all items that may affect
movement of hose/weight.
