IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

•Read all instructions before using the appliance.

•Do not touch hot surfaces. The warming surface becomes hot during use and
may cause burns.
•Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
•Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning, handling, or storing.
•Always use the appliance on a flat, stable, dry, and heat-resistant surface.
•Do not use the appliance while it is rolled, folded, or partially folded. Always
fully unroll the warming mat before use.
•Do not cover the appliance with towels, paper, plastic, or other flammable
materials during use.
•Do not place the appliance near curtains, paper, alcohol, oil, or other
flammable materials.
•Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, electric
burner, heated oven, or other heat source.
•Do not place sealed cans, airtight containers, or sealed food packages on the
warming surface. Heat may cause pressure to build up.
•Use only heat-safe cookware, dishes, plates, or serving containers.
•Do not place plastic containers on the warming surface unless they are marked
heat-safe.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
•Do not pull the cord to disconnect the appliance. Grasp the plug and pull to
remove it from the outlet.
•Do not leave the appliance operating unattended for extended periods. The
appliance is designed for a maximum warming cycle of 4 hours.
•Do not use outdoors.
•Do not use the appliance as a cutting board. Do not cut or slice food directly
on the warming surface.

•Do not place heavy objects on the appliance or scratch the surface with sharp
objects.
•Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the appliance.
•Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
•This appliance is intended for household use only.

INTENDED USE
This appliance is intended for warming food in heat-safe bowls, plates, pots, and serving
containers. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
Do not use this appliance for cooking raw food, heating sealed containers, drying items,
or any purpose not described in this manual.
POWER CORD SAFETY
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used:
•The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance.
•The cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug
in any way.
