Installation Instructions

Installation

1. Determine the

speaker location.

2. Place the speaker

upward-facing on

top of a 24”–wide

ceiling tile on a conven-

tional suspended ceiling grid.

3. If required by AHJ/local codes, use the seismic tie-offs provided to

connect the unit to the ceiling structure.

Electrical connection

1. Feed the supply cable through whip (if required) to connector.

2. Select speaker leads for desired system type: 70V – Red, 25V –

Yellow, and COM – Black for common. Interconnect the speakers

in the system, making sure that all leads of the same color are

connected. Avoid swapping colors.

3. Cut bare wire tip off of unused speaker lead. Feed connection

points through the clamp into the enclosure and tighten the clamp

screws.

4. Rotate the switch to the desired power setting.
