BATTERIES

Apollo functions with either 4 AA alkaline

bat ter ies or the B lac k Diamo nd NRG

Rechargeable Battery Kit (sold separately).

When using AA batteries:

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Dispose of the used batteries properly.

Battery life will vary depending upon:

Battery source used.

Brand and freshness of batteries.

Ambient temperature.

Brightness setting used.

INSERTING ALKALINE BATTERIES

Inserting NRG rechargeable battery

OPERATION

To turn the Apollo on (and off), depress the

center switch (Illustration 9).

Hold down switch to dim or brighten.

Light will flash when the lowest light

output setting is reached and begin to

brighten.

Light will flash at the brightest light output.

To charge NRG Rechargeable Battery:

Peel back right side of charger plug cover

(see Illustration 10).

Insert charger plug into lantern.

Battery power indicator will display a

green light when battery is fully charged.

Do not charge at temperatures over 45°

C (100° F).

BATTERY POWER INDICATOR

The Batter y Power Indicator (BPI) light

indicates how much battery life remains for

the mode in use.

> 50% battery lifeGreen Light:

Red Light: < 20% battery life

CLEANING

Ensure that the lantern is clean and dry

before and after each use and before storage.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the Apollo does not work:

Check that the bat teries are oriented

correctly and touching the contacts.

Replace the batteries.

Charge NRG Battery system.

Check the contacts and connections for

PILES

L’Apollo fonctionne avec 4 piles alcalines AA

ou avec le kit pour pile rechargeable NRG de

Black Diamond (vendu séparément).

Lorsque vous utilisez des piles AA :

Ne pas mélanger piles neuves et piles

usagées.

Jeter les piles usagées dans un conteneur

approprié.

FONCTIONNEMENT

Pour allumer/éteindre l’Apollo, appuyez sur

l’interrupteur central (Illustration 9).

Maintenir l’interrupteur enfoncé pour

dimin uer ou augmenter l’in tensit é

lumineuse.

La lumièr e clignote lor sque le p lus

faible niveau d’intensité est atteint puis

l’intensité augmente à nouveau.

La lumière clignote lorsque le plus fort

niveau d’intensité est atteint.

Pour charger la pile NRG rechargeable :

Détacher la par tie dro ite du cache

recouvrant la prise du chargeur (Voir

Illustration 10).

Insérer la fiche dans la lanterne.

L’indicateur du niveau des piles affiche

une lumière verte lorsque la pile est

totalement chargée.

L’Indicateur du Niveau des Piles (INP)

indique par un témoin lumineux quelle

est la durée de vie restante pour le mode

d’éclairage utilisé.

Témoin vert : durée de vie > 50 %

Témoin jaune : durée de vie 20–50 %

Témoin rouge : durée de vie < 20 %

Lor s de la mis e en charge de la pile

rechargeable NRG,l’INP indique également

l’état de la mise en charge.

Témoin rouge : charge < 30 %

Témoin jaune : charge < 85 %

Remarque : le témoin lumin eux s’éteint

automatiquement au bout de quelques

minutes.

NETTOYAGE

Ass urez-vous que la lanterne es t propre

et sèche avant et après chaque période

d’utilisation et de stockage.

NE PAS stocker une lampe humide.

NE PAS chauffer.

Utiliser un chiffon humide pour nettoyer

la lampe. NE PAS submerger. Laisser

sécher à l’air libre.

DYSFONCTIONNEMENT

Si votre Apollo ne fonctionne pas :

Vérifiez si les piles sont correctement

orientées et si elles touchent les contacts.

Remplacez les piles.

Chargez le système de pile NRG.

Repérez toute trace de corrosion sur les

contacts et les connexions et nettoyez si

nécessaire.

Testez l’interrupteur à plusieurs reprises.

Rien n’y fait ? Contactez votre revendeur

Black Diamond ou le Service de Garantie de

Black Diamond au numéro indiqué.

BETRIEB

Um die Apollo ein- und auszus chalten ,

drücken Sie den Schalter in der Mitte

(Abbildung 9).

Halten Sie den Schalter gedrückt, um die

Helligkeit zu dimmen oder zu verstärken.

Das Licht blinkt auf, wenn die niedrigste

Helligkeitseinstellung erreicht ist und

wird dann wieder heller.

Das Licht blinkt auf, wenn die höchste

Helligkeitseinstellung erreicht ist und

wird dann wieder dunkler.

So laden Sie die wiederauf ladbare NRG-

Batterie:

Der Batterieleistungsmesser zeigt beim Laden

REINIGUNG

Stellen Sie vor und nach jeder Verwendung

sowie vor dem Einlagern sicher, dass die

Laterne sauber und trocken ist.

Bewahren Sie die L atern e NICHT in

nassem Zustand auf.

Erhitzen Sie die Laterne NICHT.

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Laterne

ein feuchtes Tuch. Tauchen Sie die Laterne

NICHT in Wasser. Lassen Sie sie an der Luft

trocknen.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG

Wenn die Apollo nicht funktioniert:

Überprüfen Sie, ob die Batterien richtig

ausger ichtet sin d un d die Kont akt e

berühren.

Tauschen Sie die Batterien gegebenenfalls

aus.

Laden Sie die NRG-Batterien auf.

Üb er pr üfen Sie die K ont akt e und

Anschlüsse auf Korrosion und säubern Sie

sie gegebenenfalls.

Betätigen Sie den Schalter mehrmals.

Sollte die Apollo-Laterne dennoch nicht

funktionstüchtig sein, wenden Sie sich bitte

L’Apollo funziona con 4 batterie AA alcaline o

Quando utilizzate le batterie AA:

La durata delle batterie dipende da:

COME INSERIRE LE BATTERIE ALCALINE

USO

Per accender e (e spegnere) la Apo llo,

premere l’interruttore centrale (Figura 9).

Tenendo premuto l’interruttore potrete

aumentare o diminuire la luminosità.

La luce lampeggerà quando la minima

luminosità viene raggiunta ed inizierà

successivamente ad aumentare.

Il lampe ggio avv ie ne s emp re a lla

Per ricaricare le batterie con il carica batterie NRG:

Togliete la protezione dello spinotto sulla

parte destra (vedi figura 10).

I nserite lo s pinot to di ricarica sulla

lanterna.

L’indicatore di carica diventerà verde a

carica avvenuta.

Non ricaricate a temperature superiori

ai 45° C.

Cambiate le batterie.

Controllate che non vi sia della corrosione

FUNCIONAMIENTO

Para encender (y apagar) la Apollo, pulsa el

interruptor central (Ilustración 9).

Mantén pulsado el botón para reducir la

intensidad o aumentarla.

La luz se pondrá intermitente cuando se

alcance la intensidad más baja, y a partir

de ahí comenzará a aumentar.

La intermitencia se produce siempre a la

máxima intensidad.

Para cargar la batería recargable charge NRG:

Levanta por su lado derecho la tapa del

enchufe de recarga (ver la figura 10).

Inser ta la clavija del cargador en la

linterna.

El in dicad or de carga de la bater ía

mostrará una luz verde cuando la batería

esté cargada del todo.

No recargues la batería a temperaturas

superiores a 45° C.

INDICADOR DE LA CARGA DE L A BATERÍA

La luz indicadora de la carga de la batería

avisa del tiempo de vida que le queda a la

batería con el modo de alumbrado que estés

usando en ese momento.

Luz verde: > 50% de vida de la batería

Luz amarilla: 20–50% de vida de la

Luz roja: < 20% de vida de la batería

La luz indicadora de carga también indicará

el est ado de la recarga cuando se esté

recargando la batería NRG.

Nota: La luz indicadora de carga se apaga

automáticamente al cabo de unos minutos.

LIMPIEZA

Comprueba que la lintera está limpia y seca

antes y después de cada uso, así como antes

de guardarla.

NO guardes la linterna mojada ni húmeda.

No la calientes.

Si la Apollo no funciona:

Comprueba que las pilas o la batería

están metidas con la orientación correcta

y que hacen contacto.

Sustituye las pilas.

Recarga la batería NRG.

Garantizamos por un año desde la fecha

material como de montaje. Para las linternas

frontales nuestra garantía es de tres años. Si

el Comprador descubre un defecto cubierto

por la garantía, el Comprador debe devolver el

producto al lugar donde lo compró. Si eso no

fuera posible, que nos devuelva el Producto a

nosotros a la dirección indicada. El Producto

será reparado o sustituido a nuestro criterio.

Este es el alcance de nuestra responsabilidad

bajo esta garantía y, cuando expire el periodo

de garantía aplicable, se extinguirá dicha

responsabilidad. Nos reservamos el derecho

de requerir justificante de compra para

Kaufdatum. Entdeckt der Käufer einen Defekt,

sollte der Käufer das Produkt unverzüglich

an das Geschäft, in dem es erworben wurde,

Sollte dies nicht möglich sein, sollte der Käufer

das Produkt unverzüglich an die angegebene

Adresse schicken. Das Produkt wird nach
