This is a general picture of a monocular,

your model may look different!

1. Stand attachment

2. Zoom ring (setting of magnification grade)

3. Focus knob (setting for focus)

4. Ocular

5. Objective

Binoculars/monocular have a denotation that indicate their features e.g. 9-27x50 mm.

• 9-27X indicates that it has a various magnication grade between 9X and 27X.

• 50 mm indicates diameter of the objective.

Warning! NEVER look into the monocular directly towards the sun or laser light sources.

It can damage eyes permanently!

Attach the monocular to a stand

When using a monocular with a high magnication grade a stabile stand is recommended to

avoid disturbance of the focus.

Use

1. Direct the monocular toward the target

2. Turn the zoom ring to the lowest magnication possible

3. Turn the focus knob until the focus is good.

4. Turn the zoom ring for increased magnication when required (remember that a larger

magnication gives a darker picture).

5. For ner adjustment turn the focus knob until the focus is perfect.

Storing and cleaning the monocular

1. Always store the monocular in it’s case with the lens protectors mounted on when not

used.

2. Clean the monocular with a dust brush or a ne lint free cloth.

3. If the lens is very dirty you can exceptionally use rubbing alcohol to remove e.g. nger

prints. Never spray the uid directly on the lens only on the cleaning cloth. Then use the

cloth only for cleaning the lens with circular rotation moving from inward to outward.

4. Store the monocular in a dry place.

Note! Never try to dismount the monocular or to clean it internally.
