FLUSH VALVE ASEMBLY

This kit contains parts for either 1.28 GPF or 1.6 GPF

alicatis. ppon

The sndard conuration is pre-set for 1.2 GPF, if you tag

prefer 1.6 GPF follow the steps below to coert the ush nv

valve.

1. Lift and support the t assemy by holding the oabl

guide rod with one hand. (Fige 1)ur

2. Reme the apper assemy by turng cnter- ovblniou

clockwise unl free. ti(Fige 1)ur

Repce with the 1.6 GPF apper assemy, labl

re-attach to the guide rod by turng clockwise unl niti

two “clicks” are heard or felt. (or unl rmly seated)ti

OLD FLUSH VALVE REMOVAL

1. Turn off the water suy by turng the handle pplni

clockwise. (Fige 3)ur

2. Reme the nk lid and ush the toilet, hold the trip ovta

lever down to reme st of the water.ovmo

3. Use a sponge (or her) to reme the remang water otovini

from the tank and discoect the water suy line nnppl

from the bottom of the tank by turng the nut cnter-niou

cl

ockwise. (Fige 3)ur

4. Reme the two nk mnting nuts from the bottom ovtaou

of the tank by turng counter-clockwise. (Fure 4)niig

5. Carefully lift the nk from the toilet bowl and set on a ta

at work rface.su

6. Detach the ush valve chain hook from the lever arm

andthe rel he from the erow tube. losov(Fige 2)ur

7. Reme the couple gasket from the bottom of the ov

ush valve.

8. Reme the ush valve locknut with the tool provided ov

and then reme the ush valve from the tank and ov

discard.

NEW FLUSH VALVE REPLACEMENT

1. Install the new ush valve to the toilet nk, in the same inta

position as the orinal, and tighten the lock nut unl rmly giti

seated with the tool provided. (Be careful to not er ov

2. Pce a new couple gasket, mt be oer separately, lausrd

over the ush valve nut.

3. Pce the toilet tank onto the bowl and re-attach the la

two mnting nuts, thten alttely, turng clockwise, ouigernani

4. Re-attach the chain hook to the

lever arm and the rel l

5. Re-coect the water suy line to the bottom of the nnppl
